Ahhhh.......so he seems to be overwhelming GH alumni. Was he responsible for the mob stuff? I personally stated my belief that BTG would probably have an overwhelming suspense element given how the characters were crafted. Love and romance will probably be secondary and almost non-existent.

Exciting in quotes? So disappointing then? DAMN! SMH.

What's Guza Jr. like in terms of writing? Bland or exciting? Please say exciting.

So basically good news or bad news depending on individual points of view? Release it.

Well I don't know enough about Andre Hamilton and I'm looking forward to learning the specifics of why that's his last name among other things. I also didn't know much about the youngest Hamilton daughter until I listened to this video. Oh you count on there being a Dupree son somewhere in this ensemble eventually. I wouldn't be surprised if they already had it planned and for storyline purposes, decided to save him for later.

I really like this video breakdown of the show. I'm intrigued by Andre Hamilton. He inherits a double fortune apparently from the death of his parents. He's a sophisticated playboy who has people questioning his true intentions. What's that about? Also, the youngest Hamilton daughter lives in her own condo and is a social media influencer. This show seems to have loads of possibilities and I hope they take the fullest advantage of it all.

I just have a hunch that we are going to be pleasantly surprised in all aspects here: the look of the show, the vibe, the way it moves, the storytelling aspect, etc. I think a suspenseful aspect will figure prominently in this show just because of the way most of the characters have been described. There's a lot that these characters can get themselves into. Three characters are attorneys, there's a retired former Senator, a Congressman, a successful psychiatrist, a highly successful plastic surgeon with his own practice, a real estate business owner specializing in luxury properties, a young photographer who inherited a fortune, a former singer, a former investigative reporter, a police detective, a waitress/bartender whose mind is not quite right, the nurse, the firefighter, the former model, and the paralegal dismissed as an opportunistic tramp. I'M SO EXCITED for February.

OK, some of y'all are a tad too serious around here. Disregard the video as my purpose was not to argue about it, but I think BTG will not go wrong with some kind of background music. Again, Y&R and OLTL were both very good with it back in the day. That's my opinion.

Lol. It looks and sounds movie-like honestly. That being said, and speaking now of background music, it's something else of emphasis that I hope BTG has and showcases very well. Background music REALLY highlights certain scenes. Y&R and OLTL used to utilize background music so very well back in the day.

Does anyone remember this primetime show from years past? It actually aired 5 nights per week as a telenovela. It was The Bold and The Beautiful primetime campy version. But this is not my point of sharing this video. What if Beyond The Gates took this show's look and feel, along with that wonderfully suspenseful background music? FASHION HOUSE was the name of this show with Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild as rivals.

The LOOK of the show is anyone's guess but I strongly believe one thing that I saw being mentioned a while back either here or elsewhere: It'll be a daytime show with a dramatic primetime feel in terms of content. The character descriptions, including what they do for a living, sets the tone for a number of storyline possibilities, some, perhaps even over the top.

At the end of the day I don't think I'm going to care what the show looks like, but please, I beg of TPTB not to give me boredom or blandness in terms of the show's quality. Allow this show to kick ass and take names.

Lol. Wonderful, and we shall see. I wonder how far they are going to allow this couple to go. I do like that they will already be established. No coming out of the closet story for either of them. Also, whenever we get to the point of one of them cheating on the other, and we will because it's a soap, don't have them do it with a woman, and then she gets pregnant on top of that. I always hated how shows would throw supposedly gay characters into that mix.

Either this or she could very well still be a character on the show. How about "Cissie Hawthorne" (I have a way with names 😂), Jacob's fiery Drucilla-like mother and Naomi's mother-in-law.

She speaks of cliffhangers after a few months? Bless her heart. There needs to be cliffhangers in that first week. Seriously!

What scene do y'all foresee as this show's opening?

It would be great to meet the the blue-collar Hawthorne family at some point as I'm sure we will. More potential black characters for this show.

Right. I created my own personal fanfic of characters early on because I was so excited about this show and I wanted the very best for it. No way will I allow negativity to creep in after all of that. 😂
