I loathe Gwen and do not understand why she is back. We are definitely getting some form of Brady and Sarah but it's obvious Xarah are still the story so it's another pointless fling for Brady. I do not get why they don't give him an endgame pairing of his own.

Thanks. I am not into Gwen trying to get him to backslide. The difference is Victoria now. He will not do anything to risk access to her. The Brady insertion is just annoying. Xander and Sarah clearly need marriage counseling as they are still crazy about each other. Gwen seems exactly Brady's type anyway. I'd rather see that than a second attempt to force Brady and Sarah that bombed 5 years ago.

Well I do feel that Xander and Sarah are slowly realizing that Victoria needs both parents. I'm tired of the squabbling and want to get to the inevitable shared custody with longing looks. At least she admitted she didn't hate him today. And yeah if he wanted to take Victoria to see the sights in Edinburgh Sarah would not allow it either. The biggest moment today for me was him saying he is done letting her control him. And that's what this entire thing has been since she found out about the forgery. She relished using Philip as a tool to keep tabs on Xander at work and subvert him there. She is withholding Victoria until he admits what he did and apologizes to her. But he can't trust her with that information. He apologized to his victim, good enough for me in Salem. Doug3 is being written into a corner. So he is happy to steal the necklace a second time now? I enjoyed Ari and Javi eye rolling over Gabi. Holly and Tate continue to bore me. Sophia is emerging as the best part of this story. I really felt for her when she realized the boys have her son and he's OK.

I took a break from November 1991 to around a year later. I missed Jennifer being raped, Nick Corelli being trashed and Shane with Kayla. I have never felt the need to watch any of that. After Steve and Kayla didn’t immediately reunite in 2006 and he started something with Billie I took another break until Jack returned in 2019. I missed Dr Daniel completely and am a happier person for it

Sarah changed the narrative of why she lied. She was fine with Xander nearly killing Brady last year. This was all about putting a leash on him because he had too much power at Titan. She made the decision to lie when he was first talking about taking Dimera and told Philip his job was to stop things like that or she'd pull the plug on their deal. It was all about controlling Xander. Period I agree Sophia was wonderful today. I felt everything with her. And I am also appalled at Leo and Javi fostering for all the reasons stated.

Philip and Xander continue to be the best pairing on the show. Kate is only taking the job so she can bring down Xander. If the porno saves TitanDimera from folding I guess there could be a use for it. Jada promises to question Johnny discretely but jumps to arresting him for attempted murder? OK? Cat and Chad are terrible and all those scenes could have been cut. Especially the mustard flashback. Ridiculous. Liked Kayla taking the hard stance on EJ and his entire world going from everything is perfect to imploding. Will he defend Johnny in his own attempted murder trial? It's Salem so could happen!

So Maggie voted for EJ to get the hospital, over her late husband's COMPANY, because she is mad that Xander didn't like being lied and betrayed to? If she was certain he was off to jail, all the better, because TITAN, not Xander, would be buying the hospital, as opposed to EJ, an individual. I hope in the revote Xander wins and becomes Sarah's boss. I am so tired of her absolute refusal to accept that she caused this whole mess to escalate. Roman is right. Xander and Philip are both career criminals who did vile things to each other. Call it a day and let them work it out. Victoria was adorable. I hated seeing Xander have to beg his awful wife to let him see her, even when he was right there. And 'manly' Brady offering to protect them. I am going to hate Sarah and Brady. What a terrible idea that is. I don't miss Leo.

She had a kid with Eric who died. But Eric always treated her like second choice to Nicole and so when Nicole returned Sarah hid the pregnancy from him. After she found out Xander swapped the babies she tried to sleep with Brady as payback, but Brady couldn't 'rise to the occasion' cause he was in love with Kristen, and Sarah was not into it either because she still loved Xander. She has not tried Philip yet though.

Good episode today, a relief to get some movement forward on plots that are actually going somewhere (sorry, Bope fans) First and foremost I loved Xander and Philip. Exactly what needed to happen, where they just forgive each other's crimes and start over as co CEO's on more equal footing. I was surprised at the genuine remorse in Xander's apology, but that is always Xander, he reacts then regrets. I think Sarah needs to just let him have shared custody; he has no charges against him, he is a billionaire who can afford the best lawyer (but will hire Melinda lol), and she knows he is an excellent father. I am over her thinking she has done nothing wrong though. And of course Xander can not admit the truth to her or she will use it against him. Shocked she thinks she has the power in the relationship and that he would take her back if she snapped her fingers. She betrayed him for MONTHS. He snapped and did an appalling thing, but it was not premeditated like the Brady murder that she was apparently fine with. So shut up Sarah. I have missed Philip dreadfully, so glad to see him awake and for Xan and Phil to resume. Definitely felt the hand of producer changed character direction on Xander today. Thank God. Ron had terrible things planned from what I've heard. Belle is definitely addicted to whatever EJ is serving up. Can't blame her. I obviously have a thing for bad boys with accents. I felt a bit bad for Chanel when she realized that EJ is probably back in their lives. She needs to get over forcing fatherhood on Johnny though. He is clearly not ready. I still think they end up with Sophia's kid though. Glad Marlena called Sarah to get some medical advice. Where are Carrie, Will, Paul, Brady...? Why are they leaving her alone right now? If that was my mum I'd make sure she always had somebody around to give her emotional support. Rafe is still dull as dirt but if he has to be on, doing cop stuff is about what he needs to be used for.

This was my era. I remember every flashback. I was never a Bope or Jarlena fan so the last two weeks have not been my thing but today got to me. Kate is not going to be happy with Philip. Will Sarah believe him? I want to see his next talk with Xander I think he's either contrite about exposing Sarah's lies or hes using this as leverage to keep his position at TitanDimera. Could go either way I assume Joy will show up at Stephanie and Alex's wedding to drop off the baby on her way to her Hollywood acting gig.

Today was good but I was distracted with Chanel's almost bored face at times, especially compared to Carrie and Kayla who were just in bits throughout. Weird to have her and Johnny there, who do not have the long connection with Drake/John, when Jack and Jennifer are back and both go back 40 years with him. I would have much preferred to see them there. Ditto Paulina who barely knew him, but Julie is absent. Bo was great today though, wish they had shown a flashback of that moment on the cliff, I remember it well. I'm glad we got that wee nod to Isabella today, with Brady holding the numbers from the Venice gondola and telling his Mum to take care of John Having said that, the all funeral, all the time stuff is getting tedious now and I'm ready to move on. Not missing Leo or Alex though!

I think you mean Jack. And yeah those scenes were great Her telling John she had cancer, and apologizing over and over, broke my heart. And rewatching it, hearing John say she could beat pancreatic cancer and her telling him it was incurable... well that hits different now

I loved her from the moment she and Jack started having scenes in Bayview. It was not about her pairing with John, it was about her helping Jack on his first steps to regaining some of his past better self. I did love her with John, but mostly I loved her for herself, and for helping guide Jack and Jennifer in those early days when they needed their heads banged together. And I don't really have a reason to dislike Marlena, but I always have going back to 1986. Maybe it is because she was just constantly on and off the show and I never bonded to her, and then once she came back I found her very cold and dull. Thank goodness Ron is gone or Leo would have been there comforting Marlena and giving the eulogy.

Yeah I don't get the slagging of Isabella. She was smart and kind and all around lovely. And she loved John a lot. I hope wherever he is he's with her.
