GL in the early '80s was pretty good with it, especially Lisa Brown as Nola Reardon.

He would have made a great Jeff Webber if they had any storyline to do and William Moses didn't want to come back.

Looking at that cover, did Tristian Rogers and Emma Samms ever have a real life relationship? I know it's the National Enquirer and all...

Also Nader, as far as I know, didn't have an accident during his DUIs that caused serious injury.

Tad on AMC is a good example of this, having been shown to fall off a bridge and still being alive with no memory of his life. Everyone presumed him dead until his return a few years later.

Marci would definitely come across as a more mature version of the Julie Berman take on the character, which would be a good thing.

Another World had a couple of novels in the 1970s based on the Steve/Alice/Rachel love triangle.

Especially with Bobbie's comments about Luke today, I'd be shocked if TG DIDN'T make an appearance.

I went down the google rabbit hole, and it appears she's a full blown election denier.

Another GL- Dylan and Sam. They were pushing the couple in the tradition of giving young couples hot storylines. Then Sam got crippled in the car accident that "killed" Reva. It looked like they were going into a love triangle by pushing Daniel St. John as her doctor. However, they quickly pulled Dylan away from them and Daniel was paired up with Holly and the story was dropped. Sam soon left town and Dylan was regulated to being a third wheel for Eleni, not really getting any storylines until the Bridget/Julie triangle a while later.

GL: Tony and Annabelle Reardon were front burnered into storylines from 1983 until they left in 1985. After that, they virtually disappeared from the show with the exception of a few brief mentions.

I personally feel that the biggest problem with Rachel is that they turned her into a Victoria Lord expy post 1983. She was much better as the antiheroine that she was before that, a bit more mature than in the Steve and Alice days but still with the type of impulses she had for example during the Mac and Mitch triangle.

GL-Phillip Spaulding's paternity-generated storylines heavily from the early to mid 1980s and left repercussions with his relationships, especially Alan, until the end of the show.

True. Joseph. His Alan would never had fallen for town pariah Annie, get involved with trying to murder Jonathan and Harley, etc.

Chris Bernau's Alan Spaulding was touted as daytime's JR back in the day. They were similar  in being the tropes of a villain protagonist or anti-hero. This was different than the Ron Raines and Daniel Pilon Alan portrayals as a straight up villain.
