I like when people were like "Carter slept with a married woman; he is RUINED!"

Bell was like: "Hold your horses. Let me show you RUINED".

😅 Justin said “hold my beer”

Carter can come out of his predicament just fine other than the awkwardness of performing his lovers vowel renewal to his boss. I really hope Carter is here long term. It’s way overdue for him to have a decent story.

    ....Thomas in a cage?

Is this meant to be throwback to Y&R when Lisa Mansfield locked Brad Carlton in a cage in her house?

Justin wants to take over Spencer publications. Thomas has the evidence on his phone to get Liam out of jail and he showed Justin who punched him out at Forrester and somehow got him into a cage in the basement of Spencer. (I don’t know how he did that without security noticing anything) Justin is evil now after years of being Bills yes man. Wyatt will probably figure things out, hopefully he doesn’t end up in the cage too.
I did think of Brad Carlton! Maybe it’s a nod to that story.

I was going to skip today’s episode but Quinn was on asking Eric for a vow renewal. Eric called Carter over to officiate. What more could Quinn want, her lover performing her vow renewal to her husband?

  3. Enough of this Skyle bull crap! I’m sick of whimpering crying Summer. We are supposed to believe that this pig who almost bullied a kid to the point of suicide, chased after her moms boyfriend,  bedded her Uncle Billy, used her liver to marry Kyle, is too weak to stand up to Tara?
Lola and Kyle were a much better couple than Kyle and the idiot.
The Amanda storyline is not much better. It’s downright boring.
Time to get a new Chance on the show.

It’s also funny that they’ve written this story expecting us to be Team $Bill.

I skipped yesterday’s episode. I’m not team anybody at this point. I guess I’m Team Carter and that’s about it out of the entire cast. I like Quinn but she’s absent for long periods so they can feature Liam and Hope.  I used to be a Steffy fan but they’ve hitched her to such a dull partner. I mean Finns better than Liam but still. Why wouldn’t they give her a guy with an edge to him?

  5. I know this is a personal preference but I really wish Josh Morrow would shave. He’s sitting there with his handsome clean cut brother and all I can think is that it’s too bad Billy didn’t come in with some shaving cream and a razor instead of the bubble bath.

This girl’s a Newman who has studied at the feet of one of the most demented master manipulators in Genoa City. Like grow a pair, girl.

Or make her helplessness part of her character. Don’t try to sell her as this great strategic young executive who curls up into a ball.

Yes! Your mom is Phyllis and you’re acting like a wash rag? At least tell Phyllis and let her do the dirty work. I’m a day behind so it’s possible this has happened.

I'll admit that while I am still not sold on the acting choice of playing Tara with that calm cold flat affect (potentially sociopathic?), the "Oh sweetie" cracked me up.
Honestly, I wish more people would openly mock characters like Kyle and Summer who are playing make-believe adults and actually are in way over their heads. It would make it almost tolerable that most other characters seem to take them seriously.
A little bit of self-aware humor would do the show some good. You can't play everything that straight when the writing is that boring.

I was glad to finally see the stoic Tara come out as a bitch.  You are right about Summer and Kyle as the make believe adults, they can’t do a damn thing without Jacks guidance. Summer is back to being the weak whimpering idiot who needs Kyle to rescue her.

  7. I was hopeful when Abby married Chance and we had Nina back, they were going to start a family. Instead though, they rushed Abby thru fertility problems, got rid of Chance and now have a surrogate story and Chance mystery. They should either send Abby off to be with Chance or recast him. At this point I wouldn’t miss her. I’ve never been a fan of surrogate stories.

Yeah. Of course they are setting up a new triangle with L/H/T. It is transparent and obvious and that's what they were working on when they slowly rehabilitated Thomas.
I was more commenting on what a horribly misogynistic trope it is for a man to "give" his wife to another man as if her thoughts, opinions, feelings, free will were not a factor.

Me neither and being that he is the one expandable character involved in the Vinnie murder story and we were told there was a "mystery" - which isn't obvious so far as the story has been about what we saw Liam do -, well...

Let's just say I can see a way he'll be out of the picture within the year.

Yes, Liam was wrong. Not only misogynistic but just plain stupid. Hope is super sheltered already. She lives on mommy’s property. Works at the same company as her mom and stepdad. Her aunts are all in her corner. She really needs her kooky stepbrother to watch over her and the kids?

Can we talk about how awful it is for Liam to say something like that? What happened to Hope's freewill? Are women gifts that men decide which of them gets?
Setting aside the stupidity of choosing Thomas, are the writers thinking this is romantic as in "I am sacrificing myself for my woman to be happy" rather than yet another proof that Liam is a egoistical self-pitying misogynistic a**? What are they doing?

I think they are going to give us Thope (Hopmas?) temporarily and it may turn into more. Liam will get out of prison (dear writers PLEASE spare us an incarcerated Liam) early and try to take back his family.
I don’t know why but I’m predicting that Finn will die at some point.  Liam will once again ping pong between two households. I could be wrong but I don’t know that I see Finn as long term.
