Apparently he appeared sometime after that in 2012, July 26th I think, but he isn't listed in the recap for that day so who knows. Knowing MAB's progressive material, maybe he was in the toilets at Gina's.

I get it too an extent since adam is my fav andi begged mal to bring him back the last two years.

BUT

I never quit watching. Its an ensemble show after all. I like a bunch of different couples and characters

Complaining about yet ANOTHER bad choice by Sony and CBS is NOT "complaining just to complain." It is justifiable criticism by viewers who are fed up by the network's and sponsor's continued, repeated, endless incompetent decisions.

 

Back in the day, GH viewers routinely lambasted ABC for hiring one set of atrocious writers after another for their show. But when Gloria Monty and Douglas Marland were chosen to run Port Charles, the audience did not complain. They cheered (and the ratings soared) because the network had finally made the right moves. 

 

Fans don't want to watch idiotic dreck on daytime TV just to complain about it. What they want is the kind of serials they used to get in days of yore: well-produced, well-written, quality drama. Soap fans have not had that in about YEARS now. The fact that their chorus of disapproval is getting louder as the years go by is understandable.

Its a soap in 2019. No one wants to write for these shows anymore and the networks dont care either. So i bet the next writer will he pratt

The problem is TPTB's relentlessly and endlessly-incompetent decision making. 

 

The fans are not responsible for the networks and sponsors recycling hack, untalented or just clueless writers and producers who have long, proven track records of failure; writers and producers who have failed on soap after soap, yet keep getting rehired to continue damaging a genre they have already helped decimate.

 

Viewers have the right to demand and expect good material. It's completely the fault of TPTB for never making good on that mandate. 

And last year we got mal who has never written for an American soap and the fans hated him too. Like i said SOME like to complain just to complain. But on the other hand people do have valid concerns. We dont need a 2013 rehash. Or 5 days a week of one character.

 Its boring yes and A bit too much of some characters but its not like it was last year.  I just think some fans complain to complain some hate everything. But i agree the ratings are atrocious.

Wed: Nikki decides it's time to take matters into her own hands.

Thurs: Kevin receives an offer that might be tempting

Fri: Cane manages to arouse Phyllis' curiousity.

I would be sad if GH got cancelled.  Yeah, it's basically unwatchable now, but it gave me some great memories as a kid/teen.  It gave me my favorite soap opera character of all time: Brenda Barrett.  It gave me Sonny and Brenda-who I was obsessed with in the 90's.  I don't watch regularly, but there is something comforting for me to see Sonny, Carly, Jason et al if I want to at 2pm everyday.  I honestly think GH should do a time jump like Days and just drop 75% of the cast.  The show isn't aggressively bad it just so boring.  I don't know I just hope there is some way to fix it before it's gone forever

The only soap fans that really bug me are the chronic complainers. I get not liking somthing but some hate every thing every writer every story etc.
