Would any of you say "Vision of Love" is still well-remembered, since it was her first single/number one hit?

I  would. That song was and still is amazing and played still all the time with a lot of her music on the radio everyday.... I don't find her irrelevant. She can still sing. I also do not compare her to JLo.  To be honest JLo may have fans but I don't care for her music and never did, sure she is pretty but I don't care for her music at all....

I loved her so much around this time in this video when she 1st became popular... I used to have my hair exactly like her and my hair is naturally curly (not that it matters no I am not AA but European w/with olive skin complexion)….Don't ask why I blow it out str8...Now looking here again, makes me want to stop blowing it str8...Anywhoo. She looks fabulous here and her voice outstanding.

This song also shows me how she can still sing and perform, she did a remake--

This remake is also so beautiful-

  2. I for myself try to be very considerate of all peoples religions...If I know who is Jewish I say Happy Hanukkah, if their Christian I say Merry Christmas and for other religions I just say Happy Holidays.. If I know peoples religion for example who may be Hindu or something other than that and I know their holiday,  I will make sure to address the appropriate holiday ...

If I'm don't know their religion I just say Happy Holidays.... That's just me though.  I've done this for years. I myself celebrate Christmas. Although growing up 1 of my best friends is Jewish and at times would get invited to spent and celebrate her holiday as she did the same at my home when we were kids/teens.

  3. Hi I'm sorry  haven't signed back on after I made this thread but I had some busy days.  I'm in my mid 40's married and live in New York City.

Happy to have met some really nice people here and also some on FB who are members here as well that have been really super sweet to me and I'm grateful to have met as well.

Looking forward to getting to know more people here on a different level other than just soap opera debating.

The promo was embarrassing and cringe worthy. I'm not even mildly curious.

Yes agreed. My mom and I watch certain shows together although I'm married and we don't live together. I see her often, we also watch certain shows together.

We just looked at each other and were not happy. lol. We were looking forward to all that old time drama from back then. We expected it not to be but it was worse.

I swear I miss those old episodes of Dynasty. I would love for them to air all the old episodes and I would bet many would watch and they can profit off the royalties.

I will say I liked the new Dallas it wasn't the same as the 1st but it wasn't a disappointment as the reboot of Dynasty is.
