^^^I was thinking the same thing, watching Luke and Anna the past two days all I could think about was how Anna feeling so bad about missing so much of Robin's life would reflect on Luke and his family. I have my fingers crossed that Luke will come to the realization that his family IS important and being there for them (even if it's just Lulu & Tracy thats left) matters after seeing his two friends grieving for their child. I know RC mentioned something about Robin's death having an umbrella affect on other characters and I just hope this is true for Luke. Maybe he can even write a better reason for Luke to be gone when Tony goes on his uber long vacations.

Here is a snippet from an online interview with the new head writer Ron C:

Luke is a signature General Hospital character. Do you have any thoughts on what's in store for him in the coming weeks and months?

Sure. As I said, I remember when Luke first came on the show and I've watched him grow and evolve as a character over the years. Obviously, Luke and Laura was a big thing when I was growing up – that's an understatement – and it would be great to revisit that someday, but I also love the character of Luke on his own and I love his interaction with Tracy. I think that was such an unexpected relationship that is very funny but also very real. And that will continue. I also plan to move him closer to Anna Devane. They're old friends and he's there for her as a friend during her grief, but remember that he's sort of sacrificed his own son to "save" Robert Scorpio, who was at this distraught, suicidal moment in his life. To give Robert hope and the will to live, Luke makes this impulsive decision and tells this big lie. And Anna has no idea. So anything that might develop between these two, there's going to be that big lie hanging over it.

Rebuilding Luke's relationships with certain people in town is also very important to me. That very powerful story of what happened with Jake made Luke somewhat of a pariah in Port Charles, so now it's interesting to me to see if Luke can repair some of those relationships. And yes, Lucky is gone and Ethan is gone, but we have Lulu on the canvas who is his only daughter, and I really like their relationship as well. It calls to mind Laura for the audience, and I think that's a great thing. And then of course there's Heather. When she was last in town, she had a pretty unhealthy fixation on Luke. And we'll see that hasn't gone away...

I've got a question, now I am only going by what I read online but people are saying that Tracy admitted to not liking Robin? Now, I realize they had almost no real interaction, the only thing I can think of was when Luke was having his heart attack on Spoon Island, but does anybody know why Tracy wouldn't like her??

^^You know what, I watch and I feel nothing! I think my anger is in the way, let me just say that a good friend of mine died last year and now EVERYTHING makes me cry, a commercial can bring the waterworks. But after watching the past few days I am just so disgusted at how they are treating this "death" if I was KMc I would be fuming!

As a core character who has been on the show since the age of 7 to have her die, thats one thing, but to have her death not even be about her but the local "hero" hitman Jason, no effing way! I could not believe how nonchalant the hospital staff, Sam and MONICA were acting yesterday. Monica who new her all her life casually walked up to Sam and said "I heard about Robin" not a tear she barely seemed upset but more upset that Jason no longer has his cure!

Don't even get me started on today, I haven't even watched but I read what everybody was saying about what Sam said to Patrick and it makes me sick! Okay, i'm done ranting! LOL

Did anybody else notice yesterday Tracy and Anthony were being civil to one another!?!? I don't like it!!!

Do we know when Tony comes back from his vacation, because I saw Luke in the new promo along with Emma Sams but I don't know how far into the future that is. I guess I should pay better attention.

so haven't watched but heard two really good lunacy scenes today. One they are on the bed together eating breakfast. Hilarious that it takes tracy's wedding night to be in a bedroom scene with luke

That does sound strange, so Anthony and Tracy get off the boat to get married?!? It didn't seem to me like Anthony was going to let her off that boat! Guess I better catch up, it's been a few days since I watched.

stargazermc, I don't know if Despair in the Afternoon is funny or sad! (: It was funny to read but the absurdity of it all kinda made me embarassed that 2011 was such a crappy year for GH! I must admit even with a new writer I can barely force myself to watch GH anymore, I DVR it only to FFW through the first 30 minutes, I realize nobody I care about is on and then delete it. I do hope 2012 is better!

So I finally took a few minutes out of my day last night to watch a weeks worth of GH and incase anybody missed it, Tracy was on for two of the shortest scenes Friday. They were at the Metro Court lobby with Michael, apparently he negotiated a deal when he was still at ELQ and now the CEO of that company wants to work only with him! (biggest crock of BS I have ever seen on GH) Michael told Tracy he would do it, only if she agreed to get Abby out of town, which she did. Can I just say LAME!!!!!

What the heck is going on on GH this week?? I'm on vacation with almost no access to tv or Internet. I feel like I'm in the stone ages!! Lol

What's happening with Tracy??

Luke and Tracy were on today and I think Luke was trying to prove he was still sober. Thats all I know!

Did I miss the scene where Luke tries to "play" argue with Tracy but she isn't having any of it?? Or did that happen when Luke came to the hotel to see Anthony and Tracy?

Okay I watched! Skye and Luke talked he made some lame attempts at flirting with her but not even he was buying it. She actually seemed annoyed that he learned nothing from hitting Jake or from his drinking. She figured out that he was back to see what his family was up to. The person Hooked to say that Luke seem resigned to Tracy not taking him back was true, but he did want to know if she had moved on with someone else, but Skye didn't tell him anything. She told him he could not come with her when she leaves and he might not like what he sees happened to his family while he was away. Here is the You Tube link if you have a chance to watch it:

Yesterday's TraLu scenes were very good. I have to wonder about JMB though, I got the impression that while Tracy was speaking to her about relationships and "Lulu" began to tear up if it wasn't Lulu, JMB looked really upset especially when she wiped her tears while drinking the coffee. It was like she couldn't contain herself. Maybe i'm reading too much into it.

I am SO curious. Edward knew Gino and Tracy married. It was in the papers. Ned and Sonny talked about it. So does Edward not remember, or does he just not know she was the Godmother for a short while? A little history rewrite, but since we never got to see any conversation between Edward and Tracy over it, I'm okay with that.

If I'm remembering correctly, didn't Dillon once mention Tracy being married to the mob in front of the entire family a few years back on Tracy's 1st (that the viewers saw) birthday? So it shouldn't be a surpirse to Edward.

ILTQ, I have to agree with you Skye is doing nothing for me, not that I ever cared about her. But her return is just sooo stupid, and I cannot get past her "breathy" voice it grates on my nerves, and shows how bad of an actress she is when standing next to Jane. That sort of talks fine when she is flirting with a guy, but all the time?!?! gag!

WTF with Skye bragging how at least she is man enough to sleep with the men she scams...like she should be proud of that?

Does skye even know what happened to Luke?

I was thinking last night when I finally caught up, Skye bragging to Tracy about sleeping with the men she scams was nothing to be proud of, I was embarassed not only for the character of Skye but more for Robin for having to say those words. And for Skye to keep mentioning Luke leaving Tracy, it really does seem that she has no clue why he left. Even if Skye knew the reason it seems really un-funny to keep bringing it up. I mean, there's bitchy and then there's cruel, Luke hit and killed his grandson Skye should know better than to make light of the situation, even at Tracys expense.

Ok, this is going to sound weird, but when in the heck did that Tracy/Anthony scene at the spa happen?!? I have no memory of every hearing or reading about it, I assumed that when Tracy showed up at Johnny's house and she talked about the spa and Anthony stalking her, that it was a 'throw away' scene that we the viewers never saw. Can someone tell me when it was on, so I can download it??? PLEASE!
