I was going to ask - what was Anne Logan's exit from the show, and did Jeremy go with her? I know that she was fired from being a nurse because she was out partying. Is it true that Susan O'Hanlon was fired because she got pregnant?

Susan was fired because it was deemed that her real-life pregnancy could not be written into Anne's character as she was a virgin. And yes, Jeremy left town with Anne.

It is. Tony, Genie (and Tristan) improvised a lot together. I think Gloria Monty encouraged it. Also of interest is that sometimes TG would not show up for work and his lines went to TR. Funny, how that ended up being the case again just recently.

Back in the day, Gloria Monty, as domineering as she was, really encouraged the cast to have fun. When she first took over in 1978, GH went from a serious medical drama to a show that had a lot of humor and fun in it.

His doctor gave him clearance to return, and I believe he filmed some stuff before GH went on hiatus on 12/19.

If this is true......WHAT?! David Kurtz and Jack Allocco have been with the show since at least 80's and created so many great cues that enhanced the scene. This is terrrible!

JFP will probably bring on R.C. Cates, who was fired by Frank Valentini & replaced with Paul Glass after more than 20 years with GH.

Just a note, that episode was supposed to air on 12/21, but due to today's episode being pushed back to 12/17, it will now air on 12/26.

I'm watching the Christmas in Oakdale DVD from Soap Classics now. There was nothing better than a classic soap opera Christmas episode, and ATWT did them very well.

I cant find the GH November 2012 episode count. Should it be posted already?

That picture is from 2006. It's from a photoshoot done with Jane, Leslie Charleson, Stuart Damon, John Ingle, & Natalia Livingston. The photo of John used the other day is from that shoot.

It's interesting to read that compared to Leslie Charleson, who ADORED Tom Donovan and only agreed to join GH because she worked with him on LIAMST.

Like I used to tell my students when it was time to sign up for classes, it's better to go with the devil that you know than the devil that you don't know.

I hear again and again that GH will or could end in April. Did i miss something? Why April? And with what would ABC replace GH? I thought GH was safe till September.

GH would not end in April. In April, it will be decided if GH will live another year or end in September.

I'd rather we get the intimate scenes of John ingle's closest friends (Leslie, Jane, Sean, Robin, Wally) mourning Edward rather than a cast of characters who barely knew Edward or John for that matter.

I highly suggest everyone read Bill's autobiography, Jack Duckworth and Me: My Life on the Street and Other Adventures. I have read a ton of celebrity autobiographies, and Bill's was hands down one of the best.

For example,no one mourning for Aj,wrong,and was Steve even in Gh when Aj died,because I'm really not sure.

First off, when AJ "died" in February 2005, he was mourned. They had a big funeral and a lot of characters attended. When he "died" in May, they didn't do a funeral, and everyone was pretty pissed off that he had kidnapped Michael, Kristina, & Morgan and tried killing Alan.

Secondly, Steve was on the show at that time played by Shaun Benson. He left shortly after AJ's "death".

Eddie Albert was on GH in 1993. I don't know when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but he was 87 at the time!!!

Yeah even when they did manage to cast Eddie Albert in a role, it didn't last long at all.

Cesar Romero?

Can you imagine a Spanish Edward Quartermaine? LOL.

When David Lewis exited the role of Edward Quartermaine on GH, TPTB were looking to cast either Cesar Romero or Eddie Albert before going with the virtually unknown John Ingle.

LOL! I feel like Robert Vaughn is one of those actors who is perpetually thought to be dead.

I don't know why though. I saw him in person not all that long ago & he looks great. He did a stint on Coronation Street this year too.
