  1. Natalie Zea on her time at Passions as Gwen #2

    From http://tvline.com/gallery/memories-from-the-set-natalie-zea/#!1/zea-passions/

    PASSIONS

Getting her start at the "boot camp" that is daytime-TV, Zea played Gwen Hotchkiss Winthrop on the NBC soap, a "difficult" role in that "she was this kind of inbetweener — she wasn't a villain, but she wasn't a good guy either," the actress recalls. "She was just this sort of spineless amoeba. I could never quite figure out her point of view." That was in part because "the writing was so terrible," Zea opines. "And that's not telling tales out of school!" The one bright side? The fictional burg of Harmony was where she met future husband Travis Schuldt!

  2. Paul Rauch tried to fire Labine right away but no one wanted the job so Claire ended up staying a year and I believe Rauch pissed all over stories

I think her at ATWT would have been better

I also think she had more freedom at RH & GH

I remember her saying to we love soaps that OLTL was hard cause the boys in NYC were always interfearing

  3. I believe Noel did have a film that conflicted with shooting S6 so thats why he only did the season premiere but I read that the show is open to having him back

  4. Thomas is now Part of The Bay

The bay is the web series with Lilly Melgar, and Mary Beth Evans, and a bunch of soap stars right?  They don't film very many episodes, do they?  It keeps my Melrose movie dream alive, but glad to hear TC is working.  I heard the Bay was good, but I have never seen in.  I am not into web series even though I know a lot are better than actual soaps.

Correct. He just started this past season. Also Melrose related. Vanessa Williams (Rhonda) plays the Lawyer for the main family this season as well.

  5. Why do Tom & Ariana care about Kristen & who she dates. They need to get over that and yes Kristen cheated with Jax but I dont buy that Nothing happened between Ariana and Tom whole he was still with Kristen. So in my eyes they both screwed up but Tom & Ari act superior over Kristen. Its like they have nothing better to do then talk about her

  6. Maggie DePriest killed off Sally.Zane,Quinn and Masie. She also wrote off Chris, Larry, Clarice, Dee, Carter, Thomasina and Lilly. Ellen Wheeler was awesome as the twins. How i miss the days when soap operas had a real budget and went on location all the time. Taylor Miller wasn't a bad Sally she just didn't have chemistry Thomas Ian Griffith. Sally and Catlin really deserved a happy ending. I love Cass and Cecile even through there story was silly Maggie D wasn't my favorite AW HW but this episode was well written. So many wonderful characters how i miss AW.

But she was also responsible for bringing the show back to the basics by reintroducing the Frames.  In December 1987, Jason Frame came to the show.  We heard Steve, Emma, Jim Matthews, Russ, Molly, Willis and other names all mentioned in a few days which was hint the Frame family was coming back as major players in the show

Eddie Drueding post the episode when Sally died and a few more episodes around that time:

Sally's death was a bit underwhelming. Were they trying to quickly rush the character of the canvas? Did Alice even come back for her funeral or was it implied?

Can a long time fa answer this. Its about Joey Perini

Okay so the role was originated by Paul Perri from April to May 1978

Then Ray Liotta took over and stayed til Nov 1981

However from Late Jan-early March 1981, Paul Perri was once again Joey. I assume Ray had other commitments. I just find it odd that Paul was asked to fill in

That makes me wonder, did Paul quit in 1978 or did AW fire him for Ray Liotta. If that was the case Im glad to see there seemed to be no hard feelings from either side since Paul came back in 1981

I often wondered that too but I don't recall seeing Paul as the original Joey.  Of course, I was pretty young back then but only after reading about this on Eddies page did I learn that Paul Perri the original Joey Perrini. They look very much alike and good recasting

Yeah he did come back and fill in for Ray who was doing another project at the time

  7. I feel Mickey grew a lot in s4 and 5 and that his love for Ian was true. I feel Ian felt that he didnt want to try and manage his bi polar so he gave up on Mickey

I like Caleb but I dont think it will last especially once he meets the family & learns Ian's history

I was so stoked to see Tony and wondered if they will explaore Tony & ian. Wonder what Fiona would say

But I hope before the show ends that Ian and Mickey get back together
