  2. I had a dream about Another World, lol. Maybe i should stop watching it right before bed?

I was at that bar, Sassys?, and Dennis came in. We played pool and then Marley showed up and we bounced out and went to Tops where Felicia/Lorna were having dinner and then we threw a party and hat annoying girl Kelsey wouldnt stop talking to me but i was looking for Ryan for some reason, lol.

I have dreams about GH sometime so don't feel bad. Of course your dream sounds like it is nice. My dreams about GH esp. in regards to Steve Burton are usually very naughty. LOL

  3. Here is something I found that Steve posted over at SoapsWEB:

Victoria Wyndham is just one of my favorite actresses in the history of soap operas. I loved her on both GL and AW. I was one of the ones who felt no one could replace Robin Strasser as Rachel but Victoria Wyndham did a wonderful job and actually became my favorite Rachel. I love Robin but I don't think she could have played the transformation of Rachel as well as Vicky did.

Here are clips of her 25th Anniversary episode on Another World.

    PART II

  4. Yes Carl, they were great. I own the whole series on DVD and love to watch it -- at least the whole series once every 3 months. The triangle with Brian Bloom should have lasted longer. They blew a big chance there.

  5. George sent him that. It is from some play. Not sure what. All those letters that George wrote him are around here somewhere, even a copy of some excerpts from Reinholt's autobiography. Steve showed it to me once. He said he promised George that he would never show it to anyone or reveal anything it it. And as far as I know he never did. I am not sure where it is now but I know it is here.

  6. Back when hairy chests were still allowed...

For some reason I thought this was going to be the George Reinholt spread

Here's a couple Steve had of him shirtless. The nude one I can't scan. It is safe to post but I don't have a scanner right now. Steve's broke and I just have not bought another one.

  7. Looking through some of Steve's little post-it notes tonight. He stuck them everywhere.

He jotted down here from a letter he had from George Reinholt (they used to write each other all the time). He even sent Steve a very bad copy of the nude picture he did back in the 1970s. That guy was really hairy, but had a very nice body.

Anyway it says that when George got fired his friend Joe Stuart was helping him to get a role on The Doctors, but NBC did not want Reinholt on the network. He ended up going to OLTL and helped to get Courtney her role on the show as well.

  8. Not sure where Steve got his info, but as a big fan of game shows and game show host, even I had heard that about Bert Convy. I heard him talk about it on a talk show once. He was supposedly a big fan of the show.

It is listed on his IMDb page.

Here is another bio of him that has it:

    http://www.squidoo.com/bert-convy

According to Google Books, it is also stated in the book, Barnabas & Company: The Cast of the TV Classic Dark Shadows which Steve owns. So I would imagine that is where he got it and maybe the other Dark Shadows stuff.

Agnes Nixon / Don Hastings - almost both worked togheter on The Brighter Day; Rachel/Ada (AW) and Erica/Mona (BD) were originally intended to be characters on the show

From what I was told, Nixon was working on GUIDING LIGHT and BRIGHTER DAY was floundering. P&G was impressed with what she had done on GL and thought she could be helpful to BRIGHTER.

Nixon felt the show need a bad girl to stir the pot, so she was going to introduce her and her mom, who was a beautician. Also, Emily Potter and Richard Dennis had a nephew who was coming to town. He was a young intern. If I'm not mistaken, Don Hastings was to be cast in this role. He was going to leave EDGE OF NIGHT and they wanted him to play the doctor.

For some reason, it all fell through. Maybe (I'm guessing here) Nixon learned that CBS was taking over the show and moving it to Hollywood and she didn't want to do it.

Once Dr. Dennis arrived on the scene, his family would have been slowly introduced, two siblings and parents. I think the plan was to gradually get rid of the original Dennis family.

I understand that the plan was to air a half-hour BRIGHTER DAY at 3:00 EST followed by EDGE OF NIGHT and SECRET STORM.

EDGE was airing at 4:30 and CBS wanted to give that time to the affiliates.
