I would never call Gregory the peak of excitement lol. I need him to go soon, along with his whole family. But at least Gregory Harrison has some gravitas and grace with JE, etc. and the dialogue has gotten smarter there too. But yes, Maxie's dialogue was also sharper at the Qs during the bridal planning.

I don't expect Gregory to live much longer, but his scenes with Tracy are more interesting than his scenes with Alexis.

I've said it before (and so has Caroline) but I do think it's possible HP could return in the probably distant future after making amends and/or doing her time. Daytime is often very forgiving. I really don't care at present though.

Kristen Vaganos is going to be Molly going forward. She is the better adult Molly. Halley Pullos was good as a kid and a teen but was not convincing as an adult lawyer.

  3. I think the decision to fire the writers was made during the writer's strike. They couldn't do it then because they weren't legally allowed to. Instead, when Chris and Dan came back they were told to finish their storylines and prepare a story for Jason's return. The producers never intended to use their Jason story, and when they presented it that was the point of their firing.

  4. I support Blaze because the show needs a female Hispanic character. I support the surrogacy storyline because I love Kristina and Molly. I love the Kraze pairing because Kristina finally gets a love interest. I think what is going to happen is that the tabloid press will out Blaze's relationship with Kristina. Both Kristina and Blaze will be targeted by Sonny's enemies. They will suffer an ordeal together but survive and then want to raise the baby together.

Heck, me, too. The info that she did is widespread. Maybe even ubiquitous. Like that rumor that Agnes Nixon loaded AW's core family onto a plane & crashed it & them, all dead.

Also apparently Micheal Easton, at a fan event this weekend, was telling fans that GH has been either gathering their data incorrectly or interpreting it wrong. Speaking of online platforms, whether it is stroke tally or not allowing for bots or multiple accounts, etc. and it caused them to show that Peter August was a success & also that Finn is popular, So, now they know something's wrong but aren't sure how to fix it. If anyone else hears an account of this, please confirm.

And, last but not least, new information about NAC. Instead of being yes he is gone or no he is returning, the latest info - all new & different - is that they don't know. (WHAT?!!) It is up to them but they can't decide. Jesus, Mary & Joseph, they've been trying to decide "their Cassadine problem" for months now. Maybe it's good because now PM will have input. Some want to go ahead & recast & get underway with the new guy. Some want to squeeze as much out of NAC as they can.

I would like to start over with a recast. Coming back to life Spencer should have a new face.

  6. I think the producers really liked Avery Pohl. They probably told her that but said that the writers didn't know what to do with Esme, so they were letting Avery go. She had a three-year contract but they ended it with six months to go. The long notice that she got reflects their appreciation of her. In the meantime, she did several interviews and never gave the impression she was going to leave. She was at the Daytime Emmys and didn't tell anyone there that she was working on her last scenes.

I also think that the producers decided to fire Chris and Dan during the writer's strike, but they had to come back from the strike for a time until they actually pulled the plug on them.

  7. At Friday's Zoom the Zoom people complemented me when I pointed out that Avery's father was a dentist. Avery even thanked me for the answer. Zoom gave me a free ticket for the Vannna reunion today. I have just come from there. Here is what they said:

JPS's Disney show is not getting a third season. He is tied up with his family right now.

JPS has worked on GH for four days since October. He will work next in March under the new writers.

FH directed the stage play The Importance of Being Earnest.

GH is dark this week. FH is using the time to shoot a short film.

Eizabeth Korte started out as a fan and worked up to be head writer. JPS and FH both like her. she is an encyclopedia.

FH used to watch Santa Barbara every day.

If they were not in entertainment, JPS would drink more heavily. He would also be in oceanography. FH would teach sign language.

JPS says that Val wants to be the head of the Cassadine family.

I asked them what actors that they don't have scenes with would they like to work with. They both said Laura Wright. FH said the younger actors of the show. They both then heavily praised NAC. They said he worked at a car dealership before GH.

  8. I attended the Avery Pohl/Adam Huss Zoom event on Friday. Here is my report:

Adam Huss studied Tyler Christopher's performances in the role.

He is done with role for now and doesn't know if or when he will return.

I mostly ignored him and focused on Avery Pohl, the one I came to see.

Avery was informed during the writer's strike that she was being let go from the show. She continued working until the end of the year. The ship scene was her last day on the set. Frances McDormand's performance in the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri was Avery's inspiration for her final scenes.

She didn't know if she was coming back to the show. We will have to wait and see. She is open to returning but doesn't think it will happen for a year or two. The new writers are bringing many changes and a revamp of the show.

Avery is auditioning for new roles and is committed to the entertainment industry. She studied real estate in college and turned against it. If she wasn't an actress she would be going to medical school. She takes acting classes once a week.

    More facts:

-Joey Clay was the twin who played Ace the most often

-If she could play any character on the show, she would play Ava

-Her favorite co-stars are Genie Francis and Jon Lindstrom

-When she auditioned for the role, there were three other girls who tried out with Eden McCoy. One was a redhead and some of them had longer hair than her.

-When asked what superhero/villain she would like to play, she said she would play Catwoman in a heartbeat.

-She loves to travel. She once spontaneously went to India for a week, and then came back having to film the show at 4 AM the next day.

-Her father is a dentist, and she is a trained dental assistant who worked for him.
