Frankie and Charlie sit at a table sipping coffee

Charlie: Mom I’m so sorry.

Frankie: It’s okay honey.

Charlie: I wasted so much time being angry with you.

Frankie: I left. I made you think that I had abandoned you. That wasn’t the case at all.

Charlie: When I saw Felicia crying over losing Mitch, I had to call you. I was frantic when I couldn’t get in touch with you.

Frankie: A lot’s been going on.

Charlie: I’m sure.

Frankie: Is Nicole still staying with you and Cass?

Charlie: Yeah.

Frankie: I’m gonna have a talk with your father.

Charlie: He told me everything.

Frankie: Then you know that she shouldn’t be there with you. She’s dangerous!

Charlie: I don’t think so.

Frankie: I don’t trust her.

Charlie: Where have you been all this time? Why didn’t you return my calls?

CASS’S HOUSE

Cass is in the living room when Nicole comes in the door.

Cass: Nicole, where the hell have you been? I’ve been worried sick about you.

MCKINNONS HOUSE

Vicky is there with Donna sitting on the couch.

Donna: I spoke to your aunt.

Vicky: Nicole? How is she?

Donna: She’s fine.

Vicky: Is she still in Pinehaven?

Donna: No.

Vicky: She’s been released after all these years?

Donna: Apparently. She seems like she’s well now.

Vicky: I’m glad that she’s better.

Donna: She has a son.

Vicky: A son? When?

Donna: Allen Love.

Vicky: I read about him in the papers. He’s Nicole’s son?

Donna: She had him when she was sixteen, and your grandfather took him away from her.

Vicky: Wow then it stands to reason why she abused drugs and did all the things she did to Cass and Frankie. I know what it’s like to have your child taken away from you.

Jake walks in to Vicky’s surprise.

Donna: Jake hi! It’s wonderful to see you! I’m sure Vicky feels the same way!

Vicky: Donna?

Donna: I’m gonna give you two some time alone to work things out!

Donna leaves Jake and Vicky alone.

CASS’S HOUSE

Nicole: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel that way. I’ve been staying with my son.

Cass: Do you think that’s a good idea? Because I don’t.

Nicole: If you’re talking about Reginald sending me back. I’ve already spoken to him.

Cass: And you’re still here so I guess he’s not gonna put you back in Pinehaven.

Nicole: No he’s not.

Cass: Just like that?

Nicole: Yeah pretty much.

Cass: There’s something else going on here Nicole.

Nicole: Look I thank you for letting me stay here despite what I’ve done to you, and I didn’t mean to impose on you, but I’m gonna stay with my son.

Cass: I’ve forgiven you for all that Nicole. You didn’t impose on me, and I’m glad you’re out of danger.

Nicole: I regret that my lies may have cost us a life together. Things could have been different.

Cass: There’s no use living in the past. You should probably focus on getting to know your son.

Nicole walks to the door and turns around.

Nicole: For what it’s worth, Cass, I will always love you.

Nicole then collapses. “Nicole!” says Cass, who tends to her.

Vicky: Why are you here?

Jake: I wanna talk to you Vicky.

Vicky: How was your St. Croix vacation with Frankie?

Jake: She was searching for her biological mother.

Vicky: And YOU had to be the one to help her?

Jake: Vicky it’s not what you think….

Vicky: Not what I think? You are about to lose your marriage and you go off to St. Croix with another woman.

Jake: Our trip had nothing to do with romance…

Vicky: And you expect me to believe that Jake?

Jake: Yes, because you know that I love you, and I would never cheat on you.

Vicky: I don’t know what to trust about you anymore.

Jake: Is that what it’s come to?

Vicky: You have not been here Jake! You walked out on me. What am I supposed to think?

Jake: I would think if you needed some comfort, you would turn to me instead of Jack Snyder.

Frankie has just told Charlie about Emma, Janice, Evan, and St. Croix.

Charlie: Wow…mom you must be a mess. Your own brother tried to kill you.

Frankie: We’re fine now.

Charlie: You couldn’t answer because you were being held prisoner. Mom what if I had lost you?

Frankie: Charlie, I’m here now, and I’m not going anywhere.

Frankie gets an email alert on her phone…it reads the DNA test results…and Carl Hutchins is indeed her father.

Charlie: Mom? Is everything okay?

Frankie looks shocked as she has just confirmed that Carl Hutchins is her biological father.
