Philip walks into the Java Café. He sees Chloe sitting at a table, with Parker in a stroller. He goes up to Chloe.

Philip: Hey.

Chloe: Hey!

They hug.

Philip: How’s the little guy?

Chloe: He is doing great! Sit with us.

Philip: Ok. I’m going to get a coffee, you want anything?

Chloe: No, I have mine.

Philip: Ok, I’ll be right back.

Philip goes to order his coffee.

Melanie is at the Nurses Station at the hospital. Nathan comes, and is looking through a binder.

Melanie: Hey.

Nathan: How’s it going?

Melanie: Good. What about you?

Nathan: Good.

Nathan continues looking through the binder.

Melanie: Nathan, can I talk to you.

Nathan: Of course.

Melanie: I miss us being friends. I hate this awkwardness.

Nathan: Well, it’s going to be awkward. Look, I have a few patients to see.

Nathan walks away.

Will is in the change room at the gym. He is wearing only a towel, and Chad walks in. They seem a bit awkward.

Chad: Hey.

Will: Hey Chad.

Chad: Done your workout?

Will: Yup.

Chad: Will, can we stop beating around the bush.

Will pretends to be confused.

Will: What are you talking about?

Chad: You know what I’m talking about.

Chad flashes back to him and Will on the pier, his hand on Will’s arm, and moving closer.

Will: Chad, whatever it is your feeling, I’m not.

Chad: Will, I can see it; I know you feel it too.

Chad moves closer. Will looks up at him. Chad kisses Will.

Carly and Ben are standing at the nurses station in the hospital.

Ben: What’s wrong, Carly?

Carly: Just getting tired of the same thing everyday.

Ben: You don’t like being a doctor anymore?

Carly: No, I love being a doctor. I just want to try different things. Like your doing, with the prison.

Ben: Oh, well it is a bit different there.

Carly: Oh. So what kind of cases do you get?

Ben starts to look nervous.

Ben: Mostly surgeries.

Carly: Minor ones?

Ben: Mostly.

Carly looks at his binder, and sees that his patient received a kidney transplant. She begins to piece things together.

Carly: So, do you think I could get a couple shifts there?

Ben looks nervous.

Philip and Chloe are sitting in the Java Café.

Chloe: So, how’s Melanie doing?

Philip: She’s doing good.

Chloe: Thinking about having kids yet?

Philip: Yup I’m thinking about it. I’m a little scared though.

Chloe: Why?

Philip: After everything that happened with Claire, and Pocket, I don’t know if I’m ready yet.

Chloe: Does Melanie want kids now?

Philip: I don’t think so. I think she just wants to know that it is going to happen. And I don’t know if I can promise her that.

Chloe: Then tell her that. It’s going to hurt her more later. Just tell her the truth. It’s the best option.

Philip: Not in all cases though.

Chloe: I know. If we told them about us, everything would be so different. They would have left us, and it would have all been for nothing, since Daniel is the father.

Philip: Your right.

Chloe: Thank God. We were so close to blowing our lives apart.

Chad and Will are in the change room of the gym, kissing. Will quickly backs away.

Will: What are you doing!

Chad: Will, I know you feel the same.

Will: I don’t Chad!

Will gets dressed fast, and leaves the change room. Chad looks upset.

Nathan and Stephanie are on the pier. Stephanie has a folder in her hands, with Parker’s test results.

Nathan: What’s in the folder?

Stephanie: Just some work stuff. So, what are we doing tonight?

Nathan: I was thinking we can order in, watch a movie, or do something else.

He smiles.

Stephanie: I like the sound of something else.

They kiss. Nathan has a flashback of kissing Melanie.

Nathan: Well, I need to get to my grandma’s. I have to help her with a few things.

Stephanie: Ok, I’ll call you later.

They kiss, and Nathan leaves. Stephanie looks at the folder in her hands.

Stephanie: This folder will ruin my life.

Ben and Carly are standing at the nurses station.

Carly: Is everything ok?

Ben: Ya, sorry, I was just thinking of something else.

Carly: So, you think I could get a few shifts?

Ben: I’ll put in a good word for you.

Carly: Thanks. I have to go see a patient. I’ll see you later.

Carly leaves the nurses station. Ben takes out his phone, and dials a number.

Jane: Hello.

Ben: Jane, it’s me. We have a problem.

Carly is around the corner, on her phone.

Carly: Bo, something is defiantly going on. When I asked him about getting some shifts there, he was very nervous about it.

Bo: You think he will get you in there?

Carly: I’m not too sure yet. I’ll call you later.

Carly hangs up.

Will is on the pier. He remembers Chad kissing him. Gabi comes behind him.

Gabi: Hey!

Will turns around. He smiles.

Will: Hey.

He kisses her.

Will: You don’t work tonight, do you?

Gabi: No, thank God. We should go see a movie.

Will: Ya, that sounds good.

Gabi: Ok, I’m going to go home and get ready.

Will: Ok, I’ll pick you up in an hour.

Gabi: Sounds good.

They kiss, and Gabi leaves. Chad sees them. He walks up to Will.

Chad: Will, do you think it’s fair to her?

Will: Chad, I already told you I don’t feel anything for you!

Chad: That’s not what I thought when we were in the change room.

Will: Chad, stop.

Chad: No, not until you admit it.

Will: Chad, I was confused about things! But now I know what I want. I know what’s right.

Will leaves the pier.
