David is his hotel room having a drink and reflecting back to when he was outsted as owner of the hospital. Someone knocks on the door and its Zach. Slater asks him why he married Greenlee and tells him it was probably because David is keeping something from Greenlee. David denies it but Zach tells him that without Greenlee, he's nothing and soon the lies and manipulation will come back to him like karma. After Zach leaves, David calls the Pine Valley airport to make a flight to Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Jesse, Tad, Charlie, Adrian, Aidan, Kat, Jamie and Tim discuss their first casse, the death of Dixie Cooney Martin at Martin and Hubbard Investigations. Tad and Jesse tell Charlie and Adrian that they'll be working with them to research the drug V-Tach. Tim and Jamie will be testing the drug on objects to see what it does, but Aidan and Kat get another case that involves David Hayward. It's been discovered that he's got some illegal dealings with other countries including one in Vieques, Puerto Rico and it's up to the both of them to track him down. Tad lets Aidan and Kat know that he and Jesse have contacted the police in Vieques.
