Rosanna arrives at Fairwinds and asks the maid to let her speak with Paul. Paul isn't pleased to see her and tells her that he realizes now he was coming on too strong; he should have never used the search for Cabot to get her closer. Rosanna stops him and tells him that Meg approached her and she never realized just how much her hostility towards Meg had rubbed off towards Paul and she's sorry. Paul's touched and Rosanna extends an olive branch by asking him to accompany her to Kansas on a new lead.

Carly drops the kids off at Emma's and on the way out, spots Brad. She tells him that whether he likes it or not, his wife has been lying to him. Brad denies Katie would do anything of the sort and calls her out on still being bitter about Katie marrying Jack. Angry, he accuses her of sabatoging his relationship with Katie and causing her to miscarry. Carly scoffs at the accusation and gives him a document, explaining that these purchases were made during a business conference to Chicago.

Jade thanks Lily for letting her stay the night and wonders what happened at the party last night. Jade informs her that Colin never left town. Lily's a bit peeved and heads off to find the scumbag herself. Coming up on him in Old Town, Lily once again orders Colin to leave town and leave Jade alone. Colin asks what Lily's going to do if he doesn't and Lily coldly replies that she's going to make him wish he had, just as Luke comes around the corner. Later, Luke confides in Kevin that Colin is causing too much trouble with his family and he needs to be stopped.

As Michael makes his rounds, he spots Susan giggling with a fellow colleague. The man introduces himself to Michael and raves that he's heard so much about his pioneering efforts in the fields of cancer research. Michael asks to speak with Susan alone and once they have time to themselves, Michael asks Susan what she's doing. Is she trying to make him jealous, he blasts. Susan quips that she isn't doing anything; Michael is the one that left town and left her behind. In a short tempered moment, Michael huffs that it was because his ex-wife was trying to kill them both. Later, Michael runs into Katie and she's hurt that her uncle hasn't made much of an effort to spend time with her since he's returned. Michael apologizes, citing that he's been busy and promises to be in touch soon.
