"We have some plans for Stefano, but nothing hugely concrete yet. Until we do, we want to keep him on recurring for a bit. The last time we saw Stefano he was parading around time with Wayne Northrop's face. We're going to establish that the old Phoenix is back, and we'll have him interacting with his children. But we don't want to do the same old Steffy stuff, so until we think of something unique and juicy, he'll be recurring."

Stephanie Re-Cast!

As previously reported, Stephanie Johnson is coming to Salem in August on a recurring basis. But, we announced Shayna Rose would be taking on the role, as on the show. But there's been a change of plans. Lauren Ambrose of "Six Feet Under" will assume the role. "To be quite honest, I don't love Shayna Rose. She's not what I pictured as Steve and Kayla's daughter. So, we are just going to go with someone different. If it's a beautiful, red-headed bombshell with amazing acting chops that DAYS wanted, Lauren Ambrose is the girl for the role!" The role is still recurring.
