yes....that changed with the costume party katherine and rex organized in 1991.....everybody was there...from that moment, there were more interactions...

Eric was played by a fine actor, yes, but I didn't see him with a romance with any santa barbara girl.

the teens plots were supposed to be comedic and fun: escape to hollywood (booooorrrring), the motel, the school. But the audience wanted drama. So Christie was added, then Hayley (Tricia Cast and Stacy Edwards were stronger actresses than Julie Ronnie....). I don't know what was the purpose of Jackie Parks because it didn't go anywhere...A variant of Mrs Robinson?

In 1985, we have Gina trying to frame Eden for C.C's attempted murder too. A very dramatic story. And the beginning of Santana/cruz/eden/ kirk square...

Should have never back burnered Lionel and Augusta. Should have done anything Sorel asked for to keep her.  I was fine with Laken leaving though...

I like Julie Ronnie. Her version of Laken is naive, ingenue...Not fond of at all of the recast. We switched between miss goody two shoes and vamp. Susan marie snyder's version remind me early days of Jane Wilson.

In the beginning, Kelly and Joe were supposed to be the supercouple of the show. They have to fight rival Peter Flint, Mason 's manipulative ways and C.C's disapproval. Eden was described as fickle, free spirited, flirting with Warren, Lionel and Cruz.

Then Dane Witherspoon was fired. Mark Arnold didn't not fit in (lack of charisma and presence, Robin did not like him ). Joe was kiled and at this moment Kelly is considered a damsel in distress and pursued many love interests ( Nick, Dylan, Pearl, Jeffrey etc...)

The show needed another super couple. The Lockridges were slowly backburned so the writers paired Cruz with Eden. It was a hit with an incredible chemistry...

Pearl/Julia would have been very odd. I like Courtney/Pearl. Julia Campbell was very refreshing and full of life. Too bad the writers made her Madeline's killer ('Madeline was a true villainess mais too much stereotyped).   But they were going to run of suspects...Pearl's past was interesting and intriguing. But again never developped it and Brian was bland. So many missed opportunities again...

how did Bateman not realize he 'd be fired? C.C. was comatose for weeks/months...In every soap parody, it is the beginning of the end for an actor....Many actors didn't make it in the C.C so he could have been suspicious...

I liked Bateman... He had chemistry with everyone..acting classic but solid...

And curious about Lloyd bochner...His introduction to C.C  in a tv  promo was intriguing and appealing. Too bad he bad a heart attack (but survived rather the opposite of his Dynasty character, Cecil Colby).He had style, nobility and wits

Well Brick was tied to Capwell and Lockridge's siblings. So it was difficullt to find a love interest.....too bad Santana didn't work....

It is hard not to be bland when they tape eight episodes a week...they lose quality...when I watch days, I see no acting at all....they recite texts with no involvement...they are such in a hurry to finish  an episode....gh still has rehearsals  and more quality value...

happy to see Britt, I hope she is staying for a little while with a good story....a b.tch with a heart...

Yes, the show is become campier, funnier but not fun... It looks like a mini version of ron carlivati's run....At least it is not boring anymore...

Maybe valentine is not done yet. He still has an agenda with brook lynn/nikolas...and Jax/Nina need difficulties...otherwise they are boring....Perhaps the end is near for Valentin, but probably in may sweeps (it could be laughable if he was dead on valentine's day ) ... Nelle has a big target on her head...so many suspects .....

Nelle spends her time crying the Qs" wants to kill her. A hint for a murder mystery maybe...

why don't DH/SR appear on screen together??
