Thank you for recapping, Remos. The Amityville Horror, a novel turned into a movie, was about a haunted house that oozed slime from the walls. Very attractive. Based on a "true story", the family ran screaming from the house and never looked back. Love the analogy! Now I know that the writers must read SOC. Several weeks ago, when we were all pondering where Tracy might live after being kicked out of the Qs, someone mentioned the wig's house. I replied that Tracy would rather live in The Amityville Horror than "her" house.

I'm not sure of the exact date, tracyluver, but I think it's from the summer of '06. I'm going by hair... . I'm thinking July or August. Luke took off at the end of June, and I think this was following his departure. Okay...I checked some screencaps, and found it. It's from July 19, '06. Wow, that *is* nice. I guess that other spoiler about Monica pursuing the will isn't legit if this one is. Either way, we're getting Tracy scenes, so it's all good, right?

Hey, tracyluver. If you open the bitmap image, your image editor will probably have an option to save as a .jpg file. The .bmp extension may be your problem. Bitmap file sizes are much larger than .jpg files and most forums don't allow them. So, if you save it as a .jpg, then upload it to photobucket or wherever, and copy/paste the address of the page into the image tag, it should work.

Let me see if I can help. We'll know if my banner shows up in the message... Make sure to remove the spaces from both image tags, start and ending ones. I had to add them so that the tag would display properly. Just add this code in your message and the image should be there. Copy and paste the address of the page where your photo is. Thanks for the article, hooked. Loved what Jane had to say! And how cool was that bit from Leslie Charleson about the same man delivering legal papers 17 years earlier. Only on soaps...and I say that with love. JFP's comment was interesting. Perhaps I'm reading something between the lines that isn't there, but I found her mention of "a fine line" between making changes, and the GH the viewers know, to be very telling. If I had to guess who the "good guy" is among Frons, Guza, and Phelps (assuming there is one), I would choose Phelps in a heartbeat. She can shmooze and PR with the best of them, but none of her other soaps were youth-centric. She's featured older characters *and* brought in the younger demos. We need changes, but I'm thinking maybe she isn't one of them. Frons was, as usual, his own worse enemy and a public relations nightmare. He actually proposed that soaps might be *animated* in years to come. Another Frons inspiration: I'm always looking to see how to get more people to watch our soaps," ABC daytime President Brian Frons told the AP. (I know what he can do: resign! ) "As part of that, later this year, `General Hospital' will finally premiere in France. Well, that should be interesting considering 60 really is the new 40 in France. If he believes he's drawn ire here in the States regarding GH's attitude toward older actresses, he ain't seen nothing yet!

Thanks for all the spoilers, hooked! And, nex, I loved the video. Just wonderful. Still can't get over GH's anniversary "party". I guess they broke out the Dixie cups and plastic silverware for the occasion. I'm with you, Remos. Change can't happen soon enough.

Thanks for the scoop, Remos! It sounds like Tracy still considers them very much married. So, we have The Haunted Star episode next week. Then, it looks like two more the week after that. This Tracy drought has been ridiculous, though. Still hoping that GH is the soap in line for the new writer. Can't come soon enough.

She's probably even more frustrated than we are, Timeless. According to someone on soapdish, "Jane Elliot is loving her story with Luke but would like more." SD isn't the most reliable source on the planet, but this sounds legitimate if only because I can't imagine Jane not feeling frustrated with scraps of airtime and story. Let's hope the ratings stay in the basement, forcing someone at this rat network to make changes.

Looks like we may get two days at the Qs with Tracy & Luke week after next! The outfit Jane was wearing in the fan photo was different from the one in the medianet pic, and it definitely appeared to be a "Tracy" outfit. Other looking on the bright side observations... If Tracy is so irate over the mistaken notion that Claudia is a prostitute, that says much about how married she still considers them to be. Also, Tracy was half-smiling (one of the photos in the foyer), and it appeared to be sincere. Alice was smiling in one, and she wouldn't be smiling if things weren't going Mr. Luke's way. Lulu was smiling in Tracy's direction. Only Edward seemed to have his nose out of joint. So what else is new there. Old goat...

The fact that Jane and Tony want to work together probably counts for a lot (TG's clout), but so much is changing. Wading through much of the hooey at SD, one insider, or so they said, claimed that the highers-up were "livid" about the state/ratings of ABC daytime, and there would be changes by summer. Maybe the one good thing about the ratings being at an all-time low, following a horrid sweeps, is that they are basically forced to listen to their audience...while they still have one.

Hey, hooked! Thanks for all the spoilers and the medianet pics. You take good care of us! The Q Mansion pics look promising, especially since it's Luke and Lulu. Not that Lulu counts for anything, but it would make it seem like they are moving in, or at least trying to move in. Alice has a look on her face like, "And you'd better do what Mr. Luke says or else." How neat is what Nancy Lee Grahn said about Jane! It doesn't surprise me, though, as I'd gathered as much from watching and reading interviews. Jane seems like such a nice, together kind of person who doesn't believe her own publicity. That's probably rare among actors and actresses in any genre. Maybe we could get a Girls Night Out with Tracy and Alexis. Diane could even tag along.

I didn't notice, hooked, but it looks like he does in the medianet photo. Speaking of the photo, it looks to me as if he's gesturing toward the direction in which Claudia might have just left. So, my guess is that part of the scene is an explanation along the lines of "It's not what you think." I guess the spoilers are true about Luke and Johnny going into business. He's apparently back in business with someone. Why can't it be Tracy? Something needs to happen and soon. Luke is having scenes with Scott, Lulu, Logan, Johnny and Claudia. It feels to me as if Tracy is being squeezed out.

I'm with you, hooked, in doubting the authenticity of this one. Reminds me of the rumor that was reported as "confirmed" about her getting a job with Y&R. Funny thing...the GH gig was announced not long after that. Wonder if someone was trying to make someone look a hot property, hoping GH would take the bait. Wonder if someone and someone could even be the same someone. Or someone's PR someone. Either way, I can't see GH taking the same bait twice. They wasted enough money last time on marketing and paying her for the '06 thing. All that and zero dollar return. I have no doubt that someone believes her publicity, but the people at GH should be the wiser now. Poorer...but wiser.

Thanks for the alert, Remos. I hope this and the "Monica's drinking comes out in a big way" spoiler refer to the same scenes. If Monica is taking a swig here and there, then maybe Tracy is the one who catches her. It shouldn't happen any other way.

I'm late weighing in on the TC comments, but make that a quadruple *give me a break* on the Luke and what's her name hooey. Before crediting them with saving GH and all of daytime, he should have checked his facts. GH was No. 1 in the ratings for at least a couple of years before there was an LnL. Wasn't that about the time Tracy and the rest of the Quartermaines showed up in Port Charles? As for the 30 million people watched blah...blah...blah...All soaps had 3 to 4 times the audience that have today, and did long before any "legendary" events. No question that TG got people's attention as he was different from any leading man on daytime. The real magic bullet, though, was Gloria Monty who was a marketing genius. She also spent money as if it was water to achieve what she considered perfection. I wonder if TC checked the ratings for the non-event a couple of years ago. Even after more publicity than GH has spent in decades, they got nada. Money down the drain. But just look at Lunacy. No promotion, minimal airtime, and end-of-the-food-chain storylines. Still, they have inspired countless comments like, "I can't believe I'm saying this...I was a huge LnL fan, but I LOVE LOVE Tracy and Luke. I don't care if (she) ever comes back!" Nikolas needs to buy a couple of rocking chairs and take his mother on a one-way cruise to Wherever. And never come back. That's a storyline that would work for me.

Sure feels like *something* affected *something*. That episode earlier in the week from "the house" was a jarring disconnect from the last time we saw Tracy and Lunacy. We went from what I thought was a reunion Lunacy style and Tracy wheeling Luke to County Hospital to Luke at "the house" with Alice for what seemed to be an open-ended time frame. Even so, I'm a lot more concerned about where all of this leaves Tracy than I am Lunacy. We know that TG is headed out of there within the next couple of months if not before. We need some Tracy connections established, or re-established. If Edward is "reaching out" to Tracy, maybe he needs her at ELQ. There's such a wealth of story with ELQ alone! Maybe Edward screwed things up and ELQ is ripe for a hostile takeover. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd take a mob storyline if it would give us Tracy! You made a salient point in an earlier post, hooked, about how in flux things are right now at GH.
