Leaving it ambiguous this time around is the only way they can have round 2 in November. That being said, I think there is an option 'C' - one is it's in Lulu's head, one is she's really awake and the third is only understood in the depths of Guza's noodle. Tracy having a daughter? Lots of gaps in her life to fill in, and I've always wanted that one. (Claudia...say Claudia... I think the similarities are there for a reason... I'll believe it until convinced otherwise ) I'm not convinced that they are trying to do away with the Q's. I think they are now aware they went too far and need to rebuild. It might not be on the top of Guza's plate, but I don't think he's so stupid as to not see fan reaction. Myopic... completely... stupid... nope. And lets face it... no offence meant to the Monica fans amoung us, but they really can't do anything more with her line. She only has Jason who refuses to acknowledge her, and she doesn't know about Jake. Tracy has sons, granddaughter, step children, husband, and they are almost all connected with the mob is some regard (Guza's favourite playground). Tracy is the only branch they can build, and it's been a pretty neglected branch over the years. I think things are in a holding pattern until TG returns, but if they have mob story into the new year, they have other things in the hopper as well. And on AMC Josh was 'unaborted', which meant the abortion happened but the fetus was saved and implanted in another woman... I hope ABCD learned their lesson first time and won't go there. I've got two possible scenarios to give them . I was also happy to see that the insider couldn't tell us yay or nay for a Laura/Scott confrontation or Luke/Tracy marriage. I hope to see the former, I believe in the solidity of the latter. It was unclear how much Tracy sees of Laura/Lulu though... which makes me think she observes Lulu talking to Laura but Laura is particularly un-animated at the time, making Tracy even more concerned for Lulu's sanity. Still not completely convinced about how 'awake' Laura actually is, though...

That's very positive, Hooked... good for you ! I think they'll be close too, and I DON'T think Laura's presence (if she really is awake) is ultimately going to matter. For all these years Scotty has had the moral upperhand when fighting with Luke, now it's Luke's turn and that is a story I want to see. Anyway you look at it, Scott, Laura, Luke and Tracy will be front and center. Them be vets, people! Perhaps TPTB are listening afterall.

Screamers are finally asleep... it's been a looooooooong day. I'm so proud of me ! I made fudge for the first time in my life. Organic Maple Cream Fudge - and if the bowl lickings are anything to go by, it's good. Strolling through SD and saw this in the IL: Lulu confesses and Johnny tries to get Nik, which in turn gets Jason, to get her out of the country. Luke will return before she goes anywhere. And when he finds out that Mr. Baldwin really killed Rick Webber - watch out. The old Luke will be back and he will be mad as hell. Tracy will get more screen time when AG returns. Not too much other than playing his wife. Lucky's decision is to move into Sam's place. The ILY's are coming before the Skate wedding. Tracy is still firmly Mrs. Spencer... it's not much, but then again it's everything.

Thanks for the link, Hooked. That article is too funny - and SHE'S the one who brought up Luke not being an option, not the interviewer. I guess she's another one who knows Lukey belongs with Tracy. I saw you on SD... tough night. Someone has to know something, but they certainly aren't spilling.

I agree, the post heart attack didn't give us the best Tracy. The Nag is just not her, nor the way she kept pushing Luke away. Now, if she had done that then turned around every now and again with a Cheshire cat smile on her face, THAT would have been more Tracy. All in all, 2008 has been a hideous year for her. A little bit in January with the Replacement Writers, then a few days in May, and really that's it. I so hope the fall gives us more. EDIT btw, rating are in. No improvement from last week, HH still 2.1. I haven't seen the breakdown yet but GF doesn't seem to have made the slightest difference. When are they going to learn, no one can 'save' GH, it has to be a co-operative deal.

I still think we should consider the source. If TG had said this in an interview, I'd be very upset and start my countdown to my GH exit. But Guza saying.... what did he say really? He said nothing but pandered to one fanbase, and insider after insider has told us what he really thinks of fanbases and their pressure. Just because GF might interact with TG doesn't mean Tracy is thrown over and they reunite. Look at it... the SOD interviewer is making all the statements, Guza is just agreeing. Insiders have also told us repeatedly that there are no plans to split LuNacy. LnL hopefulls will be spinning this for awhile, we just have to make sure we don't take the bait. And I say this to myself as well as everyone else - it's easy to get caught up in this, but usually the outcome is vastly different that these interviews suggest.

Yay, but to be fair the reaction shot they were looking for was Ric's and Johnny, AZ and Trevors are sitting right within his frame. And we did get quite a few of Edward/Epiphany's reactions today. The way the cameras are placed you can't see Tracy unless it's a pan of the whole set. The fact that she's included is good for me - they didn't have to have her there at all. She's the only one representing Lulu's place in this whole mess, and she's obviously there for her family (Spencermaine, not Quartermaine in this instance).

In the immortal words of Rusty "That's a good planned!" Hooked, any word on the days for next week? Are we expected to see her throughout the trial? I know the mediapic has her in a new outfit talking with Alan one day next week but do we know when? I've got to say, the thing about Tracy being in the background of the trial is: 1. I get to see her expressions, which convey pages of dialogue without uttering a word 2. I get to watch Edward and Epiphany exchange expressions - a connection will be born here, mark my words 3. I get to see Scott dig himself in deeper and set the stage for Luke's return 4. I get to see that the show is actually interesting when you don't listen to the haiters/baiters; balance is definately better 5. I get to hear the best lines of the day first hand... so the prize goes to either: Nadine to Scott: " with all respect Mr. Baldwin, that is a bunch of horse pucky" (to Scott's badgering that she's covering for Johnny as a thank you to Nicholas, who is Lulu's brother) Diane to Sonny: " Okay, I'm finally getting to undestand your thinking, which means I need a Martini" (to Sonny's insistance that since he and Carly decided not to tell anyone, therefore it never happened)

Tracy is on in the courtroom. So far no dialogue or close-ups. There's nothing to clip, Nex. She's in the background about 3-5 times and that's it.

Oh, I agree. I'm calling and writing too. All I'm saying is don't get too hung up on this yet - if this is typical Guza he will have GF leaving not in catatonia but in a body bag or to see a specialist in Europe (because of course the doctors in North America are never as good ) or some other trumped up reason. I'm still not seeing anything that says Tracy and Luke will spilt - in fact insiders have said they won't split. All the Guz has said is that "the Spencers will be together again" and "the Spencers will be in a new place". Those are so vague. He's playing fan-poker again.

Okay everyone...take one step back and a deep breath. This is Bob Guza we're talking about. He's terrible in interviews and notorious for giving false leads and information. He can also promise one thing then turn on a dime. We've been hearing for years that they want GF but things couldn't work out while she's been saying she's open but they don't want her. No one knows the behind scenes at GH, no one knows if retirements are going to happen next year, no one knows which Spencers he's talking about, no one knows how long GF will actually be around, and no one mentioned Tracy - who IS a Spencer. By all means call, but don't take him on face value.

She used to be mentioned, but only about 1/3 of them came to fruition. Sometimes no acknowledgement for Tracy is better. I'm hoping this is the big story TG was promised when he was asked to take all his vacation at once. You know Tracy will be on Luke's side. Look at the faux-wedding: no matter how hurt Tracy was during it all she was a true Quartermaine and presented the united front in public. Even if the truth of Rick's death comes out and Luke doesn't know if he could forgive her for not telling him, Tracy will still stand behind Luke no questions asked.

Well, don't look now but that's 3 straight days of Alan and 3 straight days of Edward along with the Tracy days. I really hope this is a sign that TPTB saw their gaff. I know it isn't a story, but they've already got a lot on the canvas. Let's get the drug storyline finished and Who is Matt Hunter (and why do we care). Scrubs has to have their baby, Skate gets their wedding and the Mobulars take out the new kid on the block. THEN we will have room for an actual story that involves the Quartermaines/Spencermaines/Spencers.

Yup, 5 seconds, perhaps 15. Alan asks Tracy is the death penalty is what she wanted for Johnny and she says something to the effect of getting what he deserves, but no that wasn't what she had in mind. She tells Alan to shut up and the judge or one of the jury look at her as if she's insane. That's it. Not even other sightings of her in the courtroom. But honestly, Trevors and AZ were shown a few times and had even less to say/do. Ric's in his element. Someone had better blast Scotty out of the water. While I was watching I was envisioning a Luke/Scotty scene for when it was all out in the open (Rick and Logan's deaths) and there was no way Lulu could be prosecuted. Luke: (to Scott) Well, you took her Mother away and now my little Cupcake has taken your son away. Seems about even to me. Oh... and I saw it out of the corner of my eye so I could be mistaken, but it looked like Edward got a little flirty action with the older woman on the jury - the one who died on NSI last year.

Well, those sound good. Glad someone has confirmed the WK one. Guess we just have to keep up those polite but firm calls and letters.
