The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Perhaps, but Tracy and Nic have had some good times too. They haven't always been on the opposite side of a matter. Patience grasshopper - it's killing all of us, but TG and JE are all over the place saying they want each other, saying they've been promised each other, and saying they're waiting for their current stories to be ended so they can start being with each other. Paley told me a lot - Luke and Tracy are on one side of things together. Seating isn't casual.

Now that could be an interesting partnership. Lots of history and shared people between those two.

Three guesses who actually arrived at the same time and who had a forced shot. Very nice. Thanks for posting. I'm curious about seeing it, but I doubt I'll get a feed until someone puts parts on YT. Thus is the life outside the border, lol.

That would preclude a Michael/Lauren relationship. (Ed. Note: Sorry... duh... I mean a CD/KA pairing) I'm not opposed to filling the Q-mansion, but I do hope some are connected to Tracy. She always seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to family.

Yes I saw that, but they also showed all the other.... what did Todd call them?.... looking suspicious too. If she's on top of her world again, I wouldn't be surprised that it was Tracy. Anonymous generosity is her thing, and only Luke figured that out. I'll have to look for the hi-five. JE was in the house today, that's for sure. I know in her interview she said it was all Tracy, but it so obviously wan't 'all' Tracy. EDIT - when was the hi-five. I can't find it.

Tracy was really good, getting into it, moving (won't say dancing), singing along with Epiphany. She was the first one to pull a man on stage with her. Even her ending was more theatrical than the other two. God love Leslie, but she just can't move to the music. And Epiphany has a great voice... nice to see they gave her two songs. I usual see comments online that are negative first, so no comments usually = nothing sarcastic to say. Luke would have loved this Tracy. It was definitely Tracy Spencer today.

I FF'd Mac and the Dummy - quite stupid IMO. As for Bobbie's return.... it's nice seeing her, but she's overacting, and everything thing is pretty superficial. I liked her conversation with Carly, but everything else feels like I'm watching a reunion clip. There's no depth to it. Now... as I said, if we get some Noah/Bobbie stuff, I'll sit up straighter. I'm enjoying the Parade of Returnees well enough, but nothing is really jumping out at me.

I've been feeling very little, Baby Boy. Now... that comment from Noah about how he let her get away, and his longing for her makes me hopeful that we'll actually get a happily ever after for the two when their stints are up. That would be a nice ending for the character. I'm working on the assumption both are short term.

The Nurses Ball looks like it's fun. Frisco/Mac is cringe-worthy. Sabrina cleans up nice. It's like a 1930's musical, though. "Oh now, I can't do that. I don't know how" and then they perform a perfect performance routine. Or Frisco's last minute with full band and lighting, lol.... They didn't even try to make those look natural.

I have to admit, I'm a little stunned by how old Alan and Rick are looking. I know they're in their 70's and all, and SD has been ill, but wow. I guess they kind of stayed locked at a certain age in one's imagination and seeing them in real time is starteling. Still, it really was nice to see so many faces. I have my issues with various things on this show, but they are certainly doing this 50th Anniversary far better than anyone else would have.

He definitely lights up when he's talking about Tracy or Jane. Thanks for posting this.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Please God, let it be so! If they are going to highlight Tracy like they seem to be, she needs to have a real 'partner in crime', and no one fit that bill as well as Luke. Wow, that was a really great interview. Love how they interact, and I really love how Tony and Jane want to get on with the LuNacy show. If Frank promised them, let's hope he keeps promises. Do their 50th anniversary nod to the past, bring in the new Lulu (shame we never got a final TraLu moment, though) and move on.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I hope the writers finally get a clue and don't force a pairing that hasn't worked since the early 80s, but having said that, an L&L adventure is fine, but who else is involved? If it's just then in isolation, not interested.

I'm not ready for that death knoll yet, but my viewing is reduced to clips.

That's what I thought it was at first too, but I'm not convinced. If it is, it's definitely a decorative piece and positioned there on purpose.

Today I was killing time in Shoppers Drugmart, and decided to pick up the People's special. Anyone who dislikes LnL as much as I do is going to gag - they are really pushing that pairing down everyone's throat. Needless to say I didn't buy it. But as I flipped through the mag, I had a better chance to look at pictures. The one of TG is a double page spread, although the pic we have is pretty small. I want to draw your attention to the cream coloured square with something grey on it, just above mid-thigh in his picture. That 'something grey' is a head shot of Jane, etched into what appears to be a stone. I just love the way TG keeps pointing all fingers to JE, regardless of what they are forcing Luke to do. There are no other pictures of cast members in his spread. http://oi48.tinypic.com/ftdp1w.jpg

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Well, we knew that was going to happen - I'm not surprised. This is pandering, after all. I'm just happy to see JE is literally front and centre, where she belongs.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
^^^ Yes, and is she standing next to TG? I can't picture anyone else with that shape or colouring.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Meh, at the end of the day it's a job to them. TG has made no secret of the fact he doesn't want either LnL or GF, but he doesn't have control. Regardless, after the cameras stop rolling, JE and TG still have each other. We're the ones who are missing out - not them.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
So we even know who's staying and who's going?
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I'll have to watch that. I know JE is famous for doing the job without analyzing or criticizing, but if she is being the mouthpiece to push Luke back to Laura, I just want to hand her a box of barf bags. What an insult to the most powerful coupling she has ever known. Is it too much to ask that the writers actually see the benefit of LuNacy and go in that direction after all? Let Laura and Scott have each other, they can do the domestic thing that doesn't fit Luke or Tracy. (Until I'm forced to leave Luke in the dust completely, I'm going to remain hopeful that the writers get a clue.

Just saw who the new recast of Lulu is, which made me start thinking about JMB's Lulu. I'm not crazy about the character now. She doesn't have the fire she used to have. At least with JMB leaving now that the domestic persona has taken over won't impact the great memory and footage of the Spencermaine family we used to have. She had the best for a few years - I can't say I blame her for wanting to leave when the writing is on the wall that Lulu will never be the same.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
That's the thing - there are so many reasons to not like Luke/Tracy/LuNacy, but in the hands of JE and TG, it's just the most phenomenal pairing in the world and you have to love them just 'cause. These two really, truly, deeply adore each other, and the fact that they love spending time and working together, makes their character relationship so much better than anything else they have been put into individually. This is why it irks me that the writers don't see what is soooooo evident, but are trying to force things that just don't work. And while you can play roulette with JE's pairings and come up with some interesting combinations, god love TG, but he just doesn't have that kind of versatility. When you find a truly good match with him now, why try to force an outdated match just because some viewers think nostalgia has to dictate?

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
They did.... Guza was scraping the bottle of the barrel by that time. In my canon, it was all legal, and Luke thought he wasn't, but he was the one being bluffed. I'll never understand why writers have such a need to turn Luke into a domesticated romantic lead when that was never who he was in the first place. 90's Luke was horrid - and I came to that conclusion long before either Guza or TG said it to the press. The character was totally gutted during that time. Guza gave him his edge back. Arguably, he went too far in the other direction, but at least the character stood for something. I'm afeared we are seeing the slow destruction of Luke Spencer again, because that's the only way an LnL reunion can happen.

Ah, gotta love TG. No matter what crap they throw at Luke or bullsh!t they want us to swallow, TG wants him with Tracy, period. Smart man.
