I mentioned this in an email, but after this week, I have classes from 9 to 2, and the lab closes at 2. Booo. I guess I can use that one place I went to that one night. *pops in* !Hola amigos! I'm getting enough Spanish, so I'm going to use English. OFF TOPIC: Ready. Set. Random. I am fine; tired of walking EVERYWHERE, dodging cars on the crazy roads, and killing bugs with shoes, but I am fine. First day was a rough one, but I made it. The place I'm at is separate from the rest of the family, but it's neat since we have our own living room, kitchen, bedroom (2 girls from Maryland will joining us, but they will have their own bathroom as well). The downside of this "apartment life" is that we have to buy our own food, napkins, bathroom soap, etc. There is a lot of walking up steep hills, down steep hills, over rocks, etc. The roads are narrow, and the cars go fast, but so far, so good. The city, in general, is beautiful, and the people are usually friendly. The tours led by the professor have been long and boring IMO, but I guess it's all part of the experience. Overall, I think it's going to be fine. BTW, the Internet Cafe is so not like the one in the photo that I posted a few days ago, but a computer is a computer, right? LOL. You all will receive more details (i.e. about Smokey Boy and McSpitty) in emails as soon as I have more time. Now, onto the WONDERFULNESS that is Tracy Quartermaine. I miss her and you all so much. I actually dreamt about the thread on Saturday night, LOL. Anyway, I've tried very hard to read all the posts, but I did skim a bit. I see 4XCrazy and Zanne have posted again. Welcome back to the JE/Tracy LOVE! Judging by the spoilers, it seems like some good stuff is coming up. There was a cute bit with But other than that, I really wasn't "digging" the scenes. Of course, that might have been because she spent the second half of the episode as window dressing. And maybe it was just me, but these courts scenes seemed to move very, very quickly. Usually, GH drags them out a lot more, which could be a bad thing, but I don't know. I guess I was expecting more from this one. hooked mentioned this in the breakroom once, but someone should've put Tracy on the stand and asked her to describe the circumstances of her marriage to Luke. At least then, she'd get some dialogue.

Regarding the clothes: I doubt the goal was to put Tracy into Laura's and Laura into Tracy's. How would Tracy get out then? She'd be escaping in a hospital gown!? Nah, Luke had something else in the bag for Laura. He could leave Tracy's clothes under the bed or something, so she could change into them when the half hour was up. That's my logic. LOL. If she ever found out about us, we'd all have restraining orders. SPOILIERISH _ _ _ _ _ Hmm, 5 scenes total? I'd have to count again. Almost seemed like something was missing... Segment 5: LuNacy on the patio; Luke has a brilliant idea. Segment 6: No LuNacy at all; great Edward/Monica scene though. Ghost!Alan appearing as Monica sat and cried on the arm of his chair would've made it even better. Segment 7: LuNacy go on their ShadyBrook!Caper. * But first...REWIND! Segments 2, 3, and 4 were LuNacy, Alan, and Scotty. Tracy brings up the sweatsuit to Alan, and he tells her that he likes it. It's COMFORTABLE. Cue Jane Elliot's almost laugh. It's adorable. Luke enters. She's worried about Lulu. Luke has a secret weapon: Alexis Davis. Tracy brings up the fact that she's a nut case (um, Tracy, love you, but you might want to look in the mirror), brings up the Dobson craziness and the fact that Alexis is sick. Alan's still talking to Tracy. Luke wants Tracy to stop seeing dead people, especially when there are attorneys around. Cue Scott Baldwin's entrance. Cue Alan's thunder. Scotty drops all of his papers. He has some threats, blah, blah, blah. Luke punches him out. Later, there's more thunder. Enter Monica. "Some strange weather." Scotty ends up leaving. LuNacy go to the patio and Luke has an idea, which brings me to... * The ShadyBrook!Caper: Aww, look at them running into Shady Brook, being all cute and stuff. Luke has a bag in his hand. Here's the plan: Take the wig (Luke hands her wig), go into Laura's room, switch clothes with her, and stare at the wall. Luke is going to need 30 minutes. Tracy's game, until someone mentions "sponge bath." Then, she's outta there. Luke is grateful, knows that he owes Tracy. Tracy knows it too, and oh, is she going to collect. LuNacy enter Laura's room. She's GONE!!!! Scotty arrives. Says she's been transferred 'cause the court suspected someone would kidnap her. Looks like the court was right. And oh man!!! We never got to see Tracy in the blond wig. LOL. Edited because while I do think the blonde wig thing is degrading, I still wanted to see Tracy in it. Am I alone in that? : /

Small squee. She's on. Stuart Damon made her laugh/almost made her laugh. Hair needs more oomph, but it's not as flat IMO. It also seems longer. Outfit is new. It's a jacket, but it's not big and bulky. It's light green, very spring/summer-like. It did NOT make me question Jane Elliot's treatment of the Wardrobe Department. Oh, and Luke has a plan. Maybe more later...

Kind of a cute story: I was looking for more pics for Deb, and you know you how you always get a bunch of Jane Elliott, the former 3rd grade teacher who did that brown eye/blue eyed thing? So...That made me think about the time I had to watch the actual video in a psychology class (although I had already watched in sociology, but whatever...) and write about it. I began referring to her as Jane Elliott, but in the rest of the paper (err, wasn't really a paper, just a reflection on notebook paper), I ended up writing Elliot (since that's the way JE usually spells it). I used it throughout. Not too big of a deal, but I was easily amused. And wow, I think this story sounded cuter in my head. ILoveTracyQ, do you have inside scoop? Why do you think she's on? I mean, I think there's a better chance she's on today than tomorrow, 'cause Friday would more than likely have to lead into Monday, and I don't think she's on Monday. Am I making sense? LOL. knh, I read your monologue last night before I went to bed. It was very, very good. I love the way you word things. Deb will probably be able to provide more meaningful feedback, but I figured mine would be a start. I really enjoyed it and hope this means you'll be writing LuNacy someday in the future. And aww, they call you princess 'cause of the royalty thing, which is very neat, BTW. You know, last night, I had a dream about teaching high school, but the kids acted just like my day care ones. They were horrible. Then, my former boss showed up, and one of my former "colleagues" was there. Along with the high school teachers who were supervising me...Craziness, and I think it's all your fault, 'cause I read your sort of day care post before bed!!! Haha. I'm just teasing. I've been meaning to call one of the ladies I used to work with, anyway, so that might have had something to do with it. Oh, the clip collection now has 49 clips total: Click for the goodness. In a banner making mood... (Thanks Lainey; I decided to use 2 of them). And my newest signature banner... I miss THAT LuNacy. Aww, hooked. What she said was so sweet. And I don't know what to do about my luggage!!!! It's not too late to take it back. I would have preferred a navy blue or something, but bright purple? I don't want to get made fun of by someone like Lainey!

OT: So, I'm keeping the luggage. Got sandals (cheap ones, nex, LOL, but they're "sturdy" enough for the rocks/hills in Taxco - I just bought them in case I go out at night out there; gym shoes with a long summer skirt would NOT go- haha). Got a new swim suit (don't like it, but it will do). Also got a hair cut. Yes, there's oomph. Need to call endodontist again tomorrow. Gah. So...What is with the lack of Tracy?!? The scenes with Alan/Scotty/Luke have to air, right? There's still 2 more days. I want to see them!!! Please, writers, please!!! Give us some LuNacy! hooked, did she wish him a happy birthday in the article?! Or did she forget that part. I'm right? Cool. But what am I right about? LOL. pinkpopsicle, thanks for the screencaps.
