Can someone explain the whole gambling symbolism to me? I have a headache, and while it's prob. ridiculously easy to figure out, I don't feel like giving it a try. remos, the one site that usually has screencaps up right after the show hasn't been updated since last week, and the other site's most recent caps are from yesterday. More commentary re: today's episode to come...

I don't know. Seems to me that DC stole from SD, and it's labeled as "rumor" anyway which means it's not likely to happen. But today should be good. Won't be around to watch it live though, but at least I'll get to fast-forward the yawn-worthy scenes.

Tomorrow better not be a let-down. I'd like to think that today was a set-up, but we've been "set-up" in the past, haven't we? And what we thought was foreshadowing was just Guza tricking us...

^^^ What if Tracy is running late or something like that? Or is in another part of the hospital that gets evacuated, kind of like what happened during the MC crisis. I guess she would have to be involved somehow, but I'm not seeing it as this huge thing for her... Which I guess I shouldn't expect anyway, but still... I feel like we are going to get gypped.

I am considering downloading a trial version of Sony Vegas for the recent LuNacy video - Still not sure if I'll end up buying it though 'cause what happens if I do stop creating videos (whether it's because JE and or TG leave in the near future or I get wrapped up in work again or another reason)? Guess we'll see...

I can, but it will just let me "cross" once per music clip. If I try to do it again, it rearranges itself so that it's music, dialogue, dialogue and then nothing ends up merged. That's why I want to try cutting the music in several spots, slide the dialogue over it, and then merge the end of music clip "a" with the start of music clip "b." So, what you get is the line of music with the dialogue placed in the center of it without any abruptions. I am hoping that makes sense. LOL. Maybe I should just buy Sony Vegas with the money my wonderful grandmother gave me for Xmas - haha. Lisa, you said Sony Vegas was an awesome program, right? I bet it doesn't freeze like WMM either. angel, thanks! Hey, thanks so much for the feedback. Unfortunately, Windows Movie Maker just has audio on one channel. It’s a real b-tch. There is a way to place the dialogue within the music without abruptions, as you might have noticed at other portions of the video. But, it just lets me to do one of these "good" overlaps per music clip. What I might try is placing more “cuts” into the music, which would then provide more areas to insert dialogue. Once everything is inserted, I should be able to merge the music together – not sure though. I had thought about the lip-flap thing as well. The main portion I am thinking of is when she is yelling at him, telling him that she won’t be anyone’s second choice, etc, etc and as you mentioned, their lips are moving in the clips, but the dialogue is from a separate GH scene and doesn’t match. It's rather distracting. Any suggestions on what clips to replace that with, other than "no talking" ones? Unless… I just use the actual scene from GH. And doesn’t sound critical at all. I appreciate the detailed feedback. As for Final Cut, that’s for Mac, and I’m a Windows Girl. Sony Vegas, however, seems to be the Windows version of Final Cut. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I should have asked for that for Christmas – haha – but I guess I just feared I’d just stop creating videos one day because I didn’t have the time, and therefore, the program would just sit on my computer, taking up space. Of course, currently, I’m on vacation and have a ton of time, but once it’s over, you’ll all notice the amount of videos I’ll be creating will decrease. Anyway, thanks again – for the advice and for the kind words.

Double post, but I didn't want this post to get mixed in with the last one... LuNacy fans, who are able to watch videos via SendSpace - I need your thoughts. In this recent video I made, I overlapped the music with dialogue (which is an incredibly irritating process in Windows Movie Maker - took longer to overlap audio than to actually create the video - oy). At certain parts, it's not the best it can be (I tried, I really tried). Could you tell me what you think of it though? And also, should I ditch the ending audio clip? It doesn't "go" IMO, but I didn't want the video to leave the impression that Tracy is only with Luke 'cause she can't live without him... So, I added the audio where she told him that he makes her life worth living and she doesn't know what she would do without him. But as I said, it just doesn't seem to "go," and plus, it repeats words from the first quote, which sort of sounds awkward. You, hopefully, will see what I mean when you watch. This made me laugh. :lol: If you need clips, give us a holler. Do you recall the episode though? I'm sure I have (or can find the clip) somewhere. I just can't for the life of me remember when it happened, other than during Luke's heart attack story... I am guessing December 2007, but I'm not in the mood (or that desperate enough) to go through transcripts. Yet.

Glad you enjoyed the video star. Question LuNacy Fans: When did Tracy tell Luke that (she put up with him) because living with him was better than living without him? I was thinking December 10th of last year, but that's wrong. She said something like that before, right??? Slipping, I'm slipping!!!

Soap Opera Digest Scoop SOD 2009 Previews Luke/Tracy: "Luke and Tracy try to make their marriage work. For Luke, that means finding a way to resist the urge to go on the road. An unexpected stranger may provide incentive to stay in PC for a while." Me: Does this means the stranger gives him something "fun and exciting" to do (as if being with his wife wasn't fun and exciting). EDIT: I was hoping it had something to do with the "Tracy in danger," but I associated "incentive" with reward. Yes, keeping Tracy alive is rewarding, but it just didn't "go." However, per Dictionary.com, "incentive" could also refer to something, such as "fear of punishment," that induces action. And THAT goes along with the "Tracy in danger" scoop. Am I making sense? LOL. The Qs: "The Q's get an unexpected surprise that will have far-reaching effects and bring them closer together." Me: Rebecca? Emily's look-a-like? And does this "story" last 1 minute or 2? Positive thought: LuNacy AND the Quartermaines are mentioned. Yay!

Overall, I enjoyed today's show. Could have done without Diane/Max though. Sorry angel, Lisa, Lainey and whoever else is a fan. I felt Diane's rants could have been replaced with either other stories from this episode OR perhaps Alexis/girls who we didn't get to see at all. Tracy won't be watching Luke tomorrow since GH is running last year's Christmas show. No GH on Christmas. And Friday is the Scrubs wedding (no Tracy, apparently), so it seems to me that scene was cut. At first, it bothered me, but then again, Tracy watching Luke from afar is a bit pathetic and semi-stalkerish. So perhaps it's better that it didn't happen. Let's just hope nothing on NYE is cut. Now, how much did I LOVE Monica and Alan?! That was by far the best part of the episode for me. So much SQUEE-worthiness going on there. Just wonderful. GH did something right! Yay!

Well, bright side is that LuNacy are mentioned in the SoapNet promo for having a romantic NYE.
