  1. Thanks for sharing the Guiding Light episodes. I remember in an interview where Jane said that was her favorite role because it was the most challenging. She went on to say that Tracy is her most fun role. As we knew, there was no Tracy in the Christmas episode. I was pleasantly surprised to see Monica though. She was perfect calming down the children after Obrecht scared them with her performance. She had nice scenes with the judge as well. I had forgotten they had started a relationship. Not sure why they skipped over the Christmas story. Elizabeth mentioned it to Monica, but no one ever read it. If anyone is following, is Jocelyn (sp?) always annoying? I knew Spencer was annoying (though not so much in this episode), but Jocelyn was just UGH. Merry Christmas to those celebrating!!!
  2. hooked, try convertfiles.com. You shouldn't have to download anything... The only thing is, and I don't know if it's a copyright measure, but sometimes when converted using that site, they come out distorted... When that happens, I use Freemake Video Converter. It converts *really* slowly though...
  3. Tracy's last episode wasn't the 3rd. She was on yesterday with Luke, Anna, and Alice. I just went on Daytime Dish for the first time since I can't remember when, and it looks like Jane taped today with Tony and Wally. How far out do they tape?
  4. It is terrible that Tracy is being fooled again. I remember those episode counts, hooked. I had a chart and everything, lol. I hadn't realized it's been so long since JE taped. That makes me sad. It's been really nice to turn on the TV and watch Tracy after work the last 2 weeks.
  5. There wasn't very much Tracy yesterday or today for the first 3/4 of the show. The last 15 minutes today were good for LuNacy. If the rumors about Luke at the Q's being ANOTHER fake Luke, then that really takes away from today's LuNacy scene.
  6. ^^^Thanks for sharing. Tracy's in the Thanksgiving Promo for GH... Jane Elliot in the The Zertigo Diamond Caper (1982) I think that is the same dress she wore when she won her Emmy in 1981. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCJoRX6fncU
  7. I'm glad Tracy's screen time will be picking up, but it would have made more sense to hold off on Larry's introduction until later this month. It is too sporadic now - 1 day for the first week, 0 days for the second week, 1 day for the third week - GH should have just waited until there was time to show it all at once.
  8. Clearly, this Ashton story line is not a top priority. First appearance was on October 27th, and then not another appearance until November 10th??? Neither episode had any follow up the next day. From what it seems, Ashton is working with Jerry and has been pretending to be drunk and clueless, so that the Quartermaines will allow him to stay at the mansion. Or maybe Ashton really is drunk, but not as drunk as he's making himself out to be... I don't know. I am just glad that Tracy is on. I hope she's on again soon.
  9. ^^^ Ned wouldn't give Tracy his shares of ELQ to save Luke from Jerry, and Tracy said he was unbelievable, that he wouldn't even have stake in the company if it wasn't for her; that she gave him everything as opposed to his father who gave him nothing but a fake title.
  10. Larry Ashton was mentioned on Thursday. Do we know when Hugo Napier's first air date is? Jerry arranged for what looks like a body bag to be placed on the Quartermaine patio. Over the phone, he said it was Luke, but we find out who it really is on Monday.
  11. Didn't Tracy spend time in Amsterdam off screen? In Friday's episode, she was clueless about their pastries at "coffee shops" being baked with pot. She bought one and planned on eating it later until she found out what it really was.
  12. Thanks DRW50 for the article and halee for the clips. halee, I loved the one with very young Jane. I’ve been watching Jessie on Disney Channel, and it’s like the last 2 episodes came straight from a General Hospital transcript when Tracy didn’t want Georgie and Dillon together. The premise is the same, except the couple is in their 20s and not their teens, and Tracy cut off Dillon because of ELQ, not Georgie, but the idea is the same. I'm sure it's been done to death on both daytime and primetime. What's amusing to me is that Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller) is playing the role of the rich mother, complete with the wacky outfits that Tracy sometimes wears (except these outfits are wackier). Her character on this show has been how I’m getting my Tracy fix. You can pretty much replace Brooks with Dillon (except Dillon calls Tracy Mom, not mother), Mrs. Chesterfield with Tracy, and Jessie with Georgie… ****************************** Mrs. Chesterfield: I've canceled your credit cards! So, no more fancy dates, no more fancy clothes No more money. … Brooks: Mother, you can't cut me off. Mrs. Chesterfield: Oh, really? Just ask your stepfathers two through six. ****************************** Brooks: Mother, we need to talk. Mrs. Chesterfield: Oh, Brooksie, thank heavens you've come groveling back… Brooks: Mother, that's it! I've had it! I don't need your money. I'm sick of you controlling me! … Brooks: I've had a better time with Jessie these past few weeks than I've ever had in my life!...So you can keep it all, mother because I'd rather be poor and happy with Jessie, than rich without her! ****************************** Mrs. Chesterfield: Well, if it isn’t my destitute son and the trash who’s dragging him all the way down to her trailer park…My offer still stands, Brooksie. Dump Bessie*, and you get your fortune back. *says name wrong; should be Jessie ****************************** Brooks: Going up mother? Mrs. Chesterfield: Yes, unlike you. Can’t believe you’ve sunk so low… ****************************** Mrs. Chesterfield: How could you betray me like this? Bertram: Because Jessie is like family to me, and families stick together. Mrs. Chesterfield: Bleh, bleh, bleh, bleh, bleh. I know what’s best for my son, which is why I left his penniless. Bertram: Which only showed them that Jessie loves him for who he is and not what he has. If anything, you brought them closer together. Mrs. Chesterfield: How revolting. ****************************** Mrs. Chesterfield: I came to say I’m sorry. Brooksie, I’m giving you your money back, as well as your job as head of the animal sanctuary. Brooks: You are? … Mrs. Chesterfield: After talking with [bertram], I realized that Jessie might be the one woman in the world who cares about you as much as I do, and I want you to be happy.
  13. From Kelly Monaco's Instagram, the back of Jane Elliot: Is it the lighting, or is her hair nearly black???
  14. She may be starting to think something is off, but we don't know for sure. Tracy called Luke to tell him about Lulu, and said it was an emergency, and she called him again (and or texted him repeatedly, can't remember), but he never got back to her. Ned suggested that whatever Luke is doing, he (Luke) considers it to be more important than his own daughter, and the scene ended with Tracy left to ponder that. No continuation the next episode.
  15. ^^^ Tracy knows. Ned told her on Tuesday's episode. At one point Ned said, "I know you love Lulu," to which Tracy responded, "Like a daughter." (something like that)
  16. Yeah, I remember those days, ILTQ. Episode Counts are up. For July, Jane was in 11 of 21 episodes (tied with Nancy, Lisa, and Dominic). Michael Easton and Kelly were #1 with 17 of 21 episodes. Even though Jane's yearly total is so sad (49 of 148), I am going to be positive and point out that last month, Tracy's numbers were higher than the following: Sonny, Morgan, Rafe, Julian, Michael, Jordan, TJ, Ava, Kiki, Levi, Anna, Molly, Lulu, Nik, Britt, Obrecht, and Elizabeth. Ned in previews, kissing Olivia. Sonny sees them.
  17. From Ian Buchanan's Twitter: Great Pals in the house! Love, love, love. pic.twitter.com/6WqUt0Xxgo
  18. Thanks halee. That was my interpretation too. It just seemed like there should have been a transition from the love vs. respect comment to the stand up for oneself comment. That threw me off. Thanks hooked for the info!
  19. ^^^ Yes...That scene was amazing. I want to say the one during the hotel fire after Edward had a heart attack is a favorite of mine too - when Dillon reminds Tracy of a gift that she sent Edward while in Paris, but then he sent it back: Tracy: That Easter that I sent him the present, I showed weakness. That's why he sent it back. Dillon: Oh, God, mom, he was wrong. Grandfather was wrong. When you reject somebody, you're -- you're not teaching them something, you're not making them stronger. You're making them feel alone, that's it. The end of that conversation did confuse me though...Dillon asks shockingly if she'd rather he respect her than love her, and she says she doesn't need him to think fondly of her...So far so good. But then she says what she needs is for him to stand up for himself. I feel like that last line didn't go with the rest of the conversation... Anyone want to fill in the gaps for me? What am I missing? Edit: hooked, someone on Tumblr mentioned how they missed JE's longer hair, and I, of course, had to contribute to that discussion. It was like old times, like the discussions we used to have here.
  20. I just posted this on another site and wanted to share... Dillon: [about his upcoming wedding to Georgie] Thank you for understanding, just going along with the whole thing. Tracy: Well, I — I have to admit — I’m a little surprised that you remember anything I’ve ever said to you, much less taken my advice seriously. Dillon: You’re the only mom I got. Tracy: And I don’t suppose I’ve been a very generous one. I never made you the center of my life. And I can imagine that I’ve let you down in a lot of ways that I — I will never be able to comprehend. But I do want what’s best for you. Dillon: I know. Tracy: And I want you to be happy. And if marrying Georgie is going to make you happy, then I won’t stand in your way. And I will take full responsibility for dropping you in too small a pond. I mean, what did I expect? Of course you were going to fall in love with the underage offspring of a civil servant. What choice did I give you? I will accept the fact that you are about to marry so beneath your station that you’re going to get the bends. But I will not accept that you’re going to die. General Hospital, 2-13-2006
  21. ILTQ, Rafe actually was a match, but his toxicology report showed heroin in his bloodstream. The hospital has a strict no organ transplant policy when the donor tests positive for heroin. But it was OK for him to have cocaine in his system. Tracy on today in true Tracy form... She will not use her resources to find Alice a heart if Alice spills the beans to Michael.
  22. So based on today, Alice is not getting Rafe's heart.... Thanks halee for the info. about Jane and Wally. I love Ned/Tracy scenes. LOL today at the Morgan/Tracy fist-bump.
  23. ILTQ, you called it about Alice getting Rafe's heart. Looks like it's going that way. I don't know about the cellular memory thing though... Seems too deep. Tracy mentioned calling Ned the other day. We know he's in town. He was at the park with Alexis not too long ago. Spoilers had Tracy blackmailing Alice on Friday. That didn't happen. Loved this exchange: Tracy: I'll talk to Dr. Clay. Morgan: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Is that a good idea? Tracy: Why wouldn't it be? Morgan: Because you piss people off, and I don't want you messing things up for Alice.
  24. Hey ILTQ. Not sure if Carlos is still around, but based on episode counts, Carly hasn't been on in the same capacity as Sam and Sonny. I think the air hogs right now are Sonny, Julian, Sam, and Silas. June was a really bad month for Tracy. She was on this Tuesday and Wednesday though. She was foolishly talking about taking ELQ from Michael in his office. Alice caught her and called Michael, but before she could reveal what Tracy was up to, she had what looked like a heart attack. Tracy dialed 911. Soon, Michael and Morgan arrived, and Tracy lied and said she just walked in on Alice, already collapsed. Michael and Tracy watched as Morgan performed chest compressions. The paramedics came and shocked Alice and got her pulse back. In the previews for Monday, Michael questions Tracy as to what Alice wanted to tell him. Ned and Alexis were on yesterday. Ned wanted Alexis to double check the Luke and Tracy annulment papers. Alexis says the papers themselves look real, but she will have to check if they have been filed legally. Alexis thinks that Tracy is playing Ned.
  25. Kelly Monaco gives a shout out to Jane Elliot beginning at 1:23: It's very sweet.
