  1. Ron Carlivati continues to make Days must see tv! I wish they could afford Dua Lipa's Levitating. Great stuff seeing Marlena levitate. No wonder Days got a 2 year renewal. Everyone is talking about and promoting this storyline. Loved seeing Dee and the ever sexy RSW on Kelly Clarkson. Kelly was fawning over RSW, as she should. Nice seeing Days get great word of mouth and cross promotion.

  2. Finished watching the WONDERFFUL DaytimeStarsandStrikes Event that Alan Locher so lovingly put on. He did a GREAT job and I told him so in private messages. He appreciated it. SO many of our beloved GL stars appeared. Too many to mention. It is a must see on Youtube. Any GL fan has to watch. Huge huge respect to Alan Locher. He has done so much for daytime, especially during this pandemic.

Ron Carlivati knows how to put together fabulous storylines. I am hooked on DAYS more than I have been in over a decade. I love the possession storyline! I can’t wait to watch each and everyday. Sometimes I watch three times! I LOVE RON CARLIVATI AND DAYS OF OUR LIVES!

Completely agree! Ron has been writing soaps for 25 years. Days is featured this week in TV Guide as The Show To Watch!

When GL dumped Mart Hulswit, AW would have scored big by casting him as Robert Delaney and Caroline McWilliams as Lenore. There was so much story for those characters.

Lisa Cameron is one of my all-time favorite soap actresses, and she and John Cunningham are my all-time favorite soap couple. She also had great scenes with Nancy Wickwire (imagine having Liz Matthews as your mother!) and with Charles Baxter (as Fred Douglas, whom Susan briefly married). I always wondered why they were written off, only to learn from Harding Lemay's book that he thought AW had too many blondes! If I had Jacquie Courtney, Beverly Penberthy, Susan Sullivan, and Lisa Cameron under contract, I would be thanking God that I had such talented and beautiful women to write for.

Naturally, I was pleased when Lisa Cameron quickly re-surfaced on ATWT as nurse Peggy Reagan. It looked like she would become a prominent player in the Dan Stewart storyline. Alas, she was caught in the "Saturday night massacre" when Irna killed off or wrote out almost everyone with any connection to the Stewarts.

After that, Lisa Cameron simply vanished, as far as I know. She would have made an excellent replacement when Barbara Bain left MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE. She had the same look, the same attractive low voice.

Do not get me started on what I thought of Lynn Milgrim as her eventual replacement on AW. Not today, anyway! At least Lynn Milgrim was a brunette, I'll said that for her.

Couldn't agree more Nicholas. Mart would have done great as Robert Delaney. Why that never happened. Sigh.

John Cunningham. He was so great and handsome.

I would love to see an oral history book for each of the two last P&G shows like the one that came out a few years ago for OLTL. It would really contextualize the last couple of decades of ATWT and GL.

That would be SO good! Welcome, Reva!

Not Afraid of her but Afraid of what she will say, Id agree with. Alan is still loyal to P&G even though they could give a rats behind about him or these shows they produced.

Don't get me wrong, I wish Alan or any of her former castmates could find her, but no one seems to be able to connect with her. But at 88, even if they do find her, how do any of you know what  she would be saying? Alan is most certainly not afraid of her or anything she'll say. Bring on Eileen. Go find her and to anyone on here who thinks that Alan is afraid of what she'll say - YOU contact Eileen and interview her. Go ahead. We'd love to see it!!!!

John, don't let others dictate to you who you should and shouldn't talk to.

  7. This board is too funny! Alan is afraid of Eileen Fulton? Seriously? He has said that he is trying to track her down (unsuccessfully) and even her castmates have said that they'd love to track her down and get in touch with her. Eileen is 88 so she wouldn't have the spunk that she may have had in the olden days. Even watching the Don Hastings and Kathryn Hays interview with Alan last year, they have obviously slowed down. They couldn't remember alot of names or situations without being reminded.

Here's a challenge to all of you who complain about Alan Locher: Start your own channel!!  Book guests on the channel!! Interview them! Ask all the questions that you wish he had asked the guests. Be fearless. Ask the follow up questions that you say he should have asked. Go ahead. What's stopping you?

I appreciate Alan for A.) coming up with the idea of these amazing soap reunions, B.) setting them up, C.) keeping them going. I'm sure it's time-consuming and sometimes stressful. So, thanks to Alan!

Exactly. He's done 200 episodes. That's crazy! lol Alan's a great guy. Folks on here rag on him endlessly but yet they still watch his shows. Huge kudos to my friend Alan for keeping his Locher Room going. Here's to 200 more!

  9. I had a great messenger conversation with Alan Locher. He's a sweetheart. You don't reach 200 episodes of The Locher Room without having viewers. I support him. And in no way shape or form did anyone on this board affect his questions to Chris Goutman, per Alan. I loved his conversation with Goutman. Very insightful.
