  1. I think since this is fairly sudden, Jax will just leave the country rather than be killed. But maybe not, maybe we get one more chance for Carly and Joss to grieve and then yell at Nina about it (somehow it will be her fault).

I guess we get to see soon if it was more than Ingo and Steve. Really the only people we know for certain are vaxxed are the ones who have told us and the three college kids (since their schools required it)

I am going to be honest.  I don't think Ingo is that bad of an actor.  I think when he gets decent material (which is rare) he's actually pretty good.   I think he's someone who actually improved a lot from when he started.   Plus, he used to be charismatic as hell.

Anyhow, I thought he was a super chill, nice guy for years.  I thought he was underused and got the crap end of the stick for MB/Sonny and loved when he called SBu out about his juice stuff.   Weird how quickly things change.

I still like Jax and have always liked how Ingo plays him. He seems like a horrible person (whether he’s always been or this is a more recent development who knows) so I’m glad he will be gone but I’m bummed the only character who calls out the mob will be gone. How weird to think once upon a time Ingo dated Becky!

I am glad Laura Wright called him out - I think the not naming him outright was to not give him further attention that he craves. I can’t stand Carly but LW seems like a decent person. I also like what Marcus said. Listen not everyone is going to be NLG - she gets roasted all the time and sometimes says ridiculous things herself but she’s also got enough career behind her to be willing to take more risks. A lot of actors are going to be more cautious. I think Marcus spoke from the heart.

Hope we find out about Burton soon!

  3. I don’t mind MC usually and he does have good chemistry with MW (not difficult of course) but his on screen son is already a much more powerful actor than he is. Sydney was also fantastic Friday. I think part of the reason she got so mad at Spencer was that he said he needed money to get a place for he and Esme to be alone. I love the dynamic there, they both dance around the fact that they have these feelings for each other.

There is no rational reason for Esme to be messing around with Cam and Jose but I’m enjoying it just the same. We need a little troublemaker in the younger set.

Much as I like seeing Liz, poor Becky is basically just a younger version of Laura right now, only there for small scenes of giving advice. And wtf was she saying she’d destroy someone for doing that to her family? Liz you have been on both the giving and receiving end of those kinds of deceptions and destroyed no one for it.

Well, he is a teenage boy 😂😂

Prolonging a Joss/Cam/Esme triangle could be a good thing too though. Getting her away from Spencer would be the best thing for all these characters right now.

Seriously true. I’m intrigued by her and the actress is quite good but I need to see other sides to her. I’m ok slowly learning her history and connections but it would be nice to even know how she ended up at Spencers school and plotted to be his girlfriend. Then, if they want to humanize her, she can surprise herself by actually falling for Cam.

  5. People are surely tweeting and leaving Insta comments all over the place. If SB was vaccinated and not about to be fired seems simple enough that he would say so (and can’t see a reason GH would stop him).  I figured he would attempt a religious exemption or something. Either way this speculation is interesting and no one is saying it’s 100 percent but it also doesn’t seem to be out of nowhere and totally unfounded.

Esme's being the sneaky manipulator and I'm enjoying it.

I'm guessing that Joss is going to back out of sleeping with Cam at the last minute and Cam, being all hot and bothered, will end up in Esme's bed.

Plus, with Esme being so preoccupied with Cam/Joss, she won't be there to see Spencer/Trina growing closer, which is a good thing.

I would be shocked if Cam cheats on Joss just because he’s horny. But I do think something will happen to get him feeling closer to Esme. Something will come between him and Joss, and Esme will be there to step in. But not quite yet.

    Bianca's lesbian storyline

Up until that point gay characters were one off characters or were not part of the legacy family

Really risky giving the biggest soap character of all time a gay offspring

I watched this story on YouTube recently (I came to AMC during the second Kendall years so I missed it when it aired) and it blows my mind that the actresses couldn’t kiss at all. All of Bianca’s early loves scenes - Sarah and Frankie- were implied after the fact. We only saw hugs. Even so, they managed to convey so much AND were still really controversial. So much had changed by the end of the decade in terms of what tv was able and willing to show.

I'll go with revisiting Luke and Laura's rape. Interesting idea, awful execution.

I thought it was brilliantly done. I watched it as a teen and rewatched it recently and am still on Lucky’s side in all of his emotional reactions. It felt real, the dialogue back then was top notch and the acting was pretty mind blowing. But it was the beginning of Luke becoming one of the most insufferable characters.

I do agree that GL killing off Maureen did not pay off beyond those first few gut wrenching months of Ed and Michelle grieving. The show lost a lot of its heart.

  9. Spencer and Trina finally have scenes together and my feed gets cut out for a press conference! Luckily found the whole episode on YouTube. I just love the work Nicholas Chavez is doing as Spencer - yesterday intense and quite physical with Nik, and today soft and vulnerable with Trina. The chemistry is still there between those two.

Also loving Joss and Esme going full out bitch on each other. And Cam continuing to be a softie. That trusting and forgiving nature will surely get exploited by Esme.

The Jason/Britt/Drew/Peter story is annoying but Britt looked especially beautiful today.

They're all on contract except for William and Sydney (Cam and Trina), which was their choice of course. Four out of the five of them are in college right now (Nick Chavez being the one who's not).

Joss can be single for a bit, lol. She gets plenty of airtime on her own anyway and it's not like they write for her and Cam as a couple. Let Cam take a ride on the crazy train with Esme.

Yes I meant of Trina, Cam and Joss, the two being suggested as getting into the relationships are the two who are recurring. Maybe their recurring status will still allow them the airtime for that storyline to happen? Because I swear every time Cam and Esme are in a scene together there’s something there…and it would be so fun to watch that happen. Joss would lose her mind.

  11. This promo actually looks pretty good (not so much the Sonny/Carly stuff). I agree that Nikolas having done something awful doesn’t negate what Spencer did, but I can also understand why Spencer feels his dad is being a hypocrite. The truth is, Nikolas isn’t acting like he’s upset Spencer did something wrong…he’s acting like he only cares because of Ava. And his method of dealing with it so far has been very bad. I really do hope we get more Trina and Spencer together…he is at his most vulnerable and decent around her.

I mean, I am all for it but... Not sure if I find this believable.

    Spoiler

What if they manage to get Amber Tamblyn back for it? I know that’ll never happen but I would really enjoy it.

I don’t want Jax killed because it will somehow not be mob related in the end. And he’s one of the only few to not bow down to Sonny. But I don’t mind losing Ingo in the least.

  13. I’m surprised Ingo isn’t attempting some sort of religious or medical exemption. Oh well. I really do still like Jax and I doubt they’ll recast.

Spencer working at Kelly’s makes sense and it’ll give him more time with Cam. And maybe Esme can hang around more and flirt with Cam (I want something interesting to happen with this teen set already).

I second the idea of Nina getting pregnant with Sonny’s baby (a fully consensual and knowledgeable Sonny). I hope it’s twins and she somehow gets sole custody.

I think Spencer working at Kelly’s is a fantastic idea, and harkens back to some of my favorite eras of the show.  If it happens.

Back in the day, the terrible parenting of Nikolas mixed with Spencer’s issues would be rife for soap storytelling.  It’s actually kind of complex- especially if you add in Laura not raising him.  Three generations of family trauma with many angles to explore.  I wish this team was up for something that psychological.

It could be so good! Thinking back to when Nikolas first came on the show, and all the deep family issues that unveiled for both the Spencers and the Cassadines. And this show has a young actor capable of handling a complex intense storyline. Not holding my breath though.

I liked Spencer/Sonny's scenes today. Sonny did give Spencer tough love, but at least Spencer feels that Sonny does really love him. Nikolas on the hand, continues to act poorly as a father, that seems to have tunnel vision and only really seems to care about doing whatever pleases Ava. Even and especially at the expense of his only child. It's one thing to cut off Spencer's access to his/the Cassadine money, it's another to give Ava complete control over it. This will not help heal Spencer's/Nikolas's relationship. All he is showing is that he will continue to obsess over Ava/put all of her needs above Spencer all of the time.

His behavior is ridiculous and he should have visited Spencer in prison, regardless of whether he supported Ava's decision or not. Nikolas/Ava seem to think the main problem is that Spencer was spoiled as a child, but the problem is Nikolas is a bad and negligent father who continues to ignores his son's plea for his love and attention. And Ava brought up Laura, saying that Nikolas wanted to give Spencer the love she didn't give him as a child. If that was completely true, he wouldn't have played dead for as long as he did, and constantly make his son seem like an afterthought. Nik/Ava are not likeable or root worthy in this story for me.

I think that Spencer may end up taking some sort of plea deal, and possibly avoid jail time that way. If he does that and can still manage to not be under Ava's control, that might actually end up working out for him. I would support a story where he cuts more ties from Nik and tries to become more independent. That and/ or him finding out about Hayden or working with Victor and using that to his advantage, lol.

I also liked the scenes with Phyllis and Nina and hope they are foreshadowing that Nina will stay around. I think that Sonny may offer to buy Charlie's for her. And I also liked the scenes with Austin/Monica and then his scenes with Q's where he signed the papers dropping the lawsuit. But then turning around and telling Brook Lynn things weren't over. And I agree that Olivia is overreacting with this situation with Leo.

Nikolas is a spectacularly shitty father and always had been. Even when Spencer was an infant, he was unimportant to him (I remember Liz throwing that in his face during the “Who’s the Daddy” storyline with Aiden). Spencer is desperate for his father to choose HIM first and foremost and how sad that his runner up father figure is Sonny.

I agree with everyone that Liz should be part of this story. Cam would be going to her and talking about it. We get scenes of Joss with Carly and even Trina with Portia but zero Cam and Liz? Her firstborn son off to college and nada?

I didn’t realize he had gotten married.  When did this news come out?

And JJ says he is willing to return to the show, they just haven’t brought him back.  Which is a shame.

His husband had tagged him in some pics on Instagram last year. If you search his name as a tag you can still find them.

Has JJ said he will come back full time or are we talking about one off days here and there? I’m surprised as he moved his family to Ireland.

Agreed. Under Guza, he wasn't grounded. Is Tony Geary now officially retired from acting? I wouldn't be surprised if he came back one more time before all is said and done.

I think he’s done for anything other than a small guest stint. He’s married and living in Amsterdam and seems happy there. I could see him coming back for a day or two if JJ’s Lucky came back (which itself seems near impossible) or if/when the show ends. But fully agree I loved Luke right up until the early 2000s and then I detested him.

To add to the list of characters I never minded taking over all the screen time, I loved Eden’s Bianca on AMC until about 2005. Felt the exact opposite about Babe.

Spencer's h*eing had me dead🤣 Telling Trina how much he wants her while still smashing Esme (who he can't stand)!

I like the direction they're going in with Esme manipulating Cameron, angering Joss.

Cam’s sweetness will really be used well here because Esme can take advantage of it. I wonder if eventually they’ll take her in a more human direction and have her actually care for Cam (she clearly doesn’t have any real emotions for Spencer). I’m enjoying the way that storyline is headed too. It’s kind of hilarious to watch Esme and Spencer have all these intense interactions with others and then go home to each other, like why even bother.
