Yey! Can’t wait to have Portofino episodes in HD quality. Specially looking forward for Sally and co’s hilarious plane ride with the chickens 😂❤️ Also it’s nice to refresh memory regarding spring 2003. All I remember of that period was Ridge and Bridget all the time yuck… 🙈

I am enjoying this time too but I must say it’s just ”hilarious” how Eric does not regognize his ex-wife’s voice on the telephone 😂 Stephanie regognizes it instantly on Massimo’s voice mail. And even Amber did not regognize Sheila when she was like few inches in front of her and spoke, Lord 🙈 Well, I understand it all serves the story but still 😅 I think everybody (viewers) even regognized KB’s voice when she called Erica few episodes before her return 🤓

I think longest break was in late 2014 when she joined Italian version of Dancing with the stars (?) or was it some other production. Anyhoo, she was mia like three months.

It’s interesting that 2002 episode synopsis refer Sheila as Erica’s mother and I was wondering were these some sort of press release synopsis back then for example to TV Guide or some sort of? When people yet didn’t know that Kimberlin Brown is going to return.

Source is old Finnish tabloid called Iltalehti (The Evening Magazine) issue March 17, 1997. John C. Zak was supposed to arrive to Finland (and I quess Lapland mostly) to scout different ”exotic” locations. The remote was supposed to be in June 1997 but according to the article there was not enough investers at Finland’s end to participate financially for the location shoot. I don’t know what was the situation financially with Lake Como next autumn but B&B’s first outside US location would have defitely been in Finland at least before Lake Como. If the Finnish location shoot would have worked, I am not sure would there be Lake Como but maybe… hope I explained this understandable way 😅 Finland was first in the list since local promoter had bring many of the stars of the show to our country.

As a Finn, I find it fascinating that B&B actually planned their very very first outside US location shoot to be in Finland instead of Lake Como!

Wow, this was TOTAL surprise! I bought all the 10 boxes back in the days. Well, now when we have the yt and vault these dvd releases are not so significant as back then but still wow, quite a surprise!

I was just reading old Finnish soap opera magazines, need to scan them for vault. Anyway it was planned that Portofino trip would happen in late 2001 and as we are reaching the time in Youtube I was just wondering what storylines would have been for 2001 remore shoot? That did not happen since WTC. Are they going to skip Mustang Sally?? 😥

Summer 1997 and the end credit font has changed 🥰 They seem to fancy the super short closing as well a bit. And updated opening in August 1997 episodes 🥰 Glad they finally did update Sally and Sheila’s portraits at that point. Now it really start to feel like an era I personally started watching ❤️

I just love Morgan 😍 I remember so vividly I received signed photo from SB back in 2001. She’s gorgeous and one of my fave actresses ever. I already loved her in Sunset Beach as Annie. From Soapcentral: Apparently they won't air season 9, parts of 10, 11, or 12 because CBS lost the recordings. They are airing season 13, but it's sad that a good chunk of the show is lost. 😳
