True what you said there about Nathan Sr.

Malcolm was the stepdad who raised Nate, but the show seems to forget that. They didn't even play that up during Malcolm's five-minute visit in May.

    He wasnt recast last minute?

It was actually Shemar Moore. Not a look like that was cast 5 minutes before they taped. The real actor posted he was returning for that episode. He was not recast 5 minutes before because they couldn't get him. Unless this is a really good look alike they got him back. Idk what that means they recast him 5 minutes?

The only time they recast him was from 2009-11. I don't think they can hire an actor five minutes. Unless that was a joke I'm not getting.

I think the biggest issue I had with Victor’s faking a health scare was given EB’s own medical issues the last couple of years not to mention coming off of Dina’s Alzheimer’s a few years back…Victor faking going senile was in poor taste and I’m glad Lily did compare Victor to Ashland last week as she should.

It be better if Victor was more cantankerous and kept his aging in jest while disappointed he can’t do the same things he use to could do; heck even Days gave Stefano diabetes.

Of course Josh Griffith was writing Katherine’s umpteenth needless health crisis in 2013 with Cooper got abruptly ill and passed away as the story was getting underway…and JC ad-libbed the “Good night” scene.

I didn't like how he had zero remorse when talking to Devon and said it was completely okay to do that because it was for a good cause.

I wonder if EB had anything to do with that because, it started our with Victoria plotting to make it look like he was senile. Then, it was changed to he was faking.

It still boggles my mind that Cane lasted for like 12 years.

Lynn Marie Latham's creation and Maria Arena's desire to push that relationship even after it came out Cane was not Phillip made zero sense to me, and subsequent regimes continued backside kissing of the character made no sense. Windows were opened to possibly change the character were closed.

It’s wayyyyy overdue to be honest. For years I loathed that Jill always favored fraudulent Cane instead of dealing with Billy, which made zero sense.

    I forgot Cane even existed.

Speaking of Chance and Nate, they're just redoing that story right? An injury causes the guy to do a massive career change and becomes ruthless.

Genuine question, hoping to understand better. What do people not necessarily like about Nate being up in the business world? Seems he's used a lot more now then when he was a doctor and running that clinic with Devon, Amanda, Elena.

Is it because the shows getting rid of every non business job or something I'm not getting?

As I've explained many times before... it's less about the cost and more so about the fact they have no overnight crew to assemble the sets like they did pre-COVID.

I don't go into the same threads as you so I've never seen this stated. Thanks though.

Yes, is surprising. They are quite random about what plot points get shown and have a set and extras.

Whole storylines eg Aria's adoption pretty much happened at Crimson Lights.

I'm not great with money and math, how much do you think it costs to put a "small" set. Just one room 3 walls, and a few extras?

Just always crazy to me to watch even 2003 and see giant sets full of people.

I ALWAYS love seeing Jess Walton and wish she was back full-time, but MY GOD...I am so sick of hearing people constantly talking about changing jobs, takeovers, mergers, CEOs and COOs...these are NOT stories!

I'm enjoying the whole Jordan/Claire story simply because it's not talking about a takeover or merger!

Loved seeing Jill telling Billy that Jack has Ashley, Kyle, and Diane to help him protect Jabot. But Jill told Billy she is all alone. She wants him to come back to work with her to protect her company from Mamie and Tucker!! Would love to see this happen; as I would love Jill and Billy working together.

In my opinion, Phyllis faking her death should have been an umbrella story in which her flawed self ultimately proved that Diane was nefarious.  But instead it became Diane and Tucker in boring business stories, and Diane as Jack's sweet little wifey.

I thought Susan Walters' return would be interesting but I guess they just wanted to have Peter Bergman's Jack in a settled-down marriage.

And yeah they have no idea what to do with Phyllis so they plug her into storylines wherever.

Diane actually has shown being nefarious. She hates Billy and is having Kyle being a mole with Tucker so he can pretend to be the hero by saving the company. She's also lying to Jack. She also Hates Audra.

I don't think she's just Jack's boring wife. Just my opinion, I say all of this as nicely as possible. I don't type things... right sometimes and it comes across like I'm an ass and I'm not trying to be saying this, so please don't take it that way. 🙏

I also remembered his Long Term Storylines With BIG Payoffs!

On Days there Was The Revelation of Mike's Real Paternity! 8 years to Reveal,

There Was also The debacle with Julie's Child

On Y&R There Was The Reveal Of Brooks Prentiss' Paternity, It Took 5 years for Lance to find out Him and Not Lucas was the Boy's Father!

There Was Marge, the build up for her and Kay's Switch was of several months!

The Battle for The Chancellor State, It took 23 years To Happen! Phillip said he left something to secure Jill and The Baby's Future when he was dying, But Jill Only Found it in 1998!

On B&B There was The Angela Story, it actually Was build up from the beginning taking about 1 year and a Half to Really Happen! But Stephanie's occasional visits happened for a long time!

For sure! I think she was Really mellowed after Finding Out Stuart Was NOT her Biological Father!

I hear that alot about his stories. You could turn off for two years and come back and its the same story lol

Not As Much, But Stephen Nichols' Tucker was Pretty One Note, The only word To Describe him was "Business Mogul"!

But I don't remember him being this much of An Assh- or as unfaithful! But he did cheat on Ashley! With Genevieve, Harmony and Diane!

They're trying to write him as TSJ played "Todd" on OLTL.

  10. Summary:

The story was pitched too him by Danielle Unger

    • J.Eddie Peck is sticking around as Cole Howard.  Cole will take leave from his job at Oxford and spend time in Genoa City.
    •
    • Griffith says: "Nikki has been forced to fall off the wagon by crazy people and her recovery is going to be equally spectacular."
    •
    • There's going to be a huge conflict between Victoria and Nikki and Victor because, Claire could be Victoria's child, but Claire was instrumental in pumping vodka via an IV into Victoria's mother."
    •
    • Claire will be redeemable but, Jordan will be written as "Silence of the lamb Batsh*t crazy."
    •
    •  They've got atleast a years worth of story now after these few house of horror episodes.

I had just wished for a bond between Diane and Summer that drove Phyllis even crazier 🤣

And thanks haha I felt like I missed a beat somewhere. I knew I watched those scenes where Kyle had an abrupt awkward “change of heart” while arguing with Billy while Audra had Kyle in the palm of her hands and called Tucker at the same time.

This is where I wish the show hadn’t dropped Noah and Allie.

Who would you have let go instead?  Because, I'm like 90% sure they got dropped just because they got Graz, Trevor and Zuleyka all in that short amount of time. Idk who I would not good at deciding these things lol

Ola! Newbie here, HUH? First some basics: People named Abbott: Jack, Ashley, deceased John, Billy & Kyle. Yes? Kyle & Audra have sex? Billy was a good friend to Chelsea? Stayed with her on the ledge & talked to her? Jason Thompson used to be on GH?

Now, Kyle is a double agent. Really loyal to the Abbotts but pretending to be with Tucker. Tucker, however, knows he's really pro-Abbott & is manipulating him?

    Correct!
