I'll back you on all of that TL. If they are going to bring Laura back, I'd love it to happen the way you k=just said. I agree with you, I don't think that she has the "it" factor that she used to have. I think that Lujke and Laura are entertaingwhen they are on an adventure, but that had been rare toward the end and they are just plain boring without all of that. I think she can get out fo town. I really dislike her being there, but if it means that people will finally see how little she works on the show anymore, they can get the hell over her and let Luke and Tracy get on with their marriage and le the rest of us watch our supercouple. I do want everything we've been promiced before she comes back though. I want them to get "together" and I don't want it after Laura inevitably goes again. I don't want this whole sloppy seconds thing to go on anymore, I want them together as them and not having anything at all to do with anyone else.

Hey Hooked, first of all... good point. I didn't realize that until you mentioned it about the married couples. and Second... I've said it before and I'll say it again. I LOVED your story. I especially likes the "I wrote the bylaws" line at the airport, but I enjoyed the whole thing. Keep it up, we're gonna need some more now that you've started (though I'd like to see this one continue)!

Damned right she did!!! As much as I love her always, I think this may have been my favorite since the Nov 7th epi and the one when she was in the garden after that. She was fabulous, the writing was good for her, the whole thing worked. See, Ms. Q, I told you it would come together for this story. Hopefully they keep it that way throughout, but it's working right now. I know that Luke will come through for her in a big way and I'm waiting for it. I am holding tight to the belief that this is going to be HUGE for them! It's going to end the way I want it to, I'm convinced. and PS... that did look like Luke on a very happy Tracy's arm in those pics... I'm telling ya, go take a look

For whatever reason, I want to say that Luke won't think she is crazy. I think he is going to support her through all of it. I think he will understand her need to talk to him b/c she loved him. If he can't see him, she'll be fine, no one can know if she doesn't say it and I doubt she will tell that little tid bit just b/c she already thinks she is a sloppy second to Laura, who went crazy. I don't think she'd willingly give him another reason to leave. But I really do think he won't think she's nuts, he's gonna be a great ol' hubby to her in this. And if he isn't Kristin's gonna have to have a good old fashion (italian style) sitdown with the writers.

hey all! I'm catching up a bit, so I just want to say... MinervaFan: brava!! well put, sister! I completely agree with all of that. I was annoyed at first with some of the Alan interaction, but it just may work out to our and JE's favor. And I loved how you gave her a reason to take things out on Em without making her a complete b-tch! Hookedongh 1) you know I loved the story!!! but 2) I think they did the right thingnot giving Tracy a goodbye scene, even though I would have liked to see her with him one more time (oh that's right... ghost Alan...). She hasn't accepted that he isn't going to make it, why would she need to say goodbye to him? It's like saying goodbye when you walk Into a room, seems a little out of place. these are just general things now: I also think that it worked with Luke not being there when she found out. I think he needs to really be there for her and comfort her which would not have happened 1)with her whole family, or what's left of it, right there. and 2) when she is still in disbelief and will probably be in shock. He will absolutely come through, but timing is everything people!! I'm sure I'll pop in with some more for ya later, but right now I'm just getting some writing done, calling my dean (AGAIN) to try and get things all straightened out at school, and playing with my cousin (too damned cute for words)

and sidenote please... why didn't Emily try to do anything?!?!?!?! she is his daughter and a doctor, why do the characters on tv always just sit back and watch the line flatten when they should be getting off their asses, forgetting the dramatic pause that will kill the guy, and save him.

I don't think it's disrespectful, but they said it hasn't worked for them, so i thought it would just make more sense. And as much as I LOVE both JE and SD and think they are phenominal with comedy, I also think there is only so much you can do with really bad writing, which this may have the potential for, from what it seems. Hoping against hope that I'm wrong!

ok, my thing about bringing him back as a ghost... if they "haven't had luck with the supernatural in the past", don't you think it would have made sense to bring him back to her in a dream? It wouldn't have been so unbelievable and people can believe in someone they love coming to them in a dream. Maybe not as believable would be to bring him back so she is talking to him and sees him, but she is the only one... and the track suit?!?!? I think Guza needs to tighten the screws in his head a bit and get a grip on reality and how his main Quartermaine (ours, with the most appearances of the bunch) has been an asset.

I do have disks, I just have to see how I can get some clips up, or if I can. I don't know if I have the right programs to do it and I don't know if I have a copyright protection on the disks either. The only reason I think she didn't say something like that was because she was with Lulu, and we all know she really cares about her now. Speaking of Lulu, she looked like she really felt awful when he said that to Tracy. She likes her stepmother, too. I thought she has cared about her, but you can care what happens to people, especially family, without actually liking them, now I think she does. Thanks for the clips Lady. I'd love to see anything else you have, those were great. I'm so glad you figured out how to upload those. I'm still trying to figure out how to uplopad the clips from my disks. I thought they were a cute couple, but it may have been more that she was cute when she was with him, though I am only working with the few episodes I have of them when they were in the beginning. I agree that it was definately not his acting b/c I thought the same thing, that he didn't show any real feeling with his looks or behind anything he did. But she was more vulnerable and insecure, and in love and everything else than I have seen her with anyone other than luke (and it was a different kind of thing). I like them as a couple for that alone. i do think they made an attractive couple, though, and I think that his lack of feeling behind his looks worked for their story b/c he didn't really love her. It really worked when she was trying to seduce him before they married and he turned her down... I just love the scenes with them

I'm in the BR, too, ubt no one's talking... where is everyone?! Ok, while I will always love WK's Ned, I sometimes find it hard to remember why based on his let me have fun treating my mother like and evil sh-t... thing. I watched the scene yesterday that not only reminded me, but reaffirmed said love and multiplied it by 1000. It was the day of Tracy's wedding to Paul (stupid jerk). He found her in the den talking to the "dead" edward's portrait about how much she is in love with Paul and how she could be very badly hurt, why didn't he warn her and all that jazz. He stood there and listened and when he came in he was wonderful to her and told her how much he loves her and that he is proud to be giving her away and how much he doesn't want her hurt. then he found Paul atthe office and warned him... he threw him the Evil Eye somethin' fierce and told him how much he is going to personally make him pay if he does anything to break her heart. That's my boy!! Chivalry is not altogether dead, I don't care who says it

while these are all great reasons behind it (my personal fave is the one where luke tells her he won't sllep in seperate rooms cuz that will be great later on!!! wink hint wink), I choose to ignore that he has his coat on. If the reason isn't that the family went back from the church to be at the house when people arrived and luke was just walking in after that then I think it just down't happen. I know he's family, but he also is probably not the limo type, so didn't ride back with them. He was just not taking it off yet after walking in, not long after the rest of the fam. ps. as much as I do and will ALWAYS love JE and I thinks she's stunningly gorgeous on her worst day, I have to say I like her hair longer than she has it in the funeral pics. It kind of looks the same as it did for Lila's funeral. exact same cut, same style, same color again. She also, pay attention to the scene with spinelli in the hospital, looks like she's lost a lot of weight now. I know we've said that she looks like she has but it is probably just that she has better clothes right now... but no, she looked thin and amazing. Just thought I'd share

Let me just start off by giving my favorite non-Tracy thing today.... Spinelli calling Dillon "Oh Nearly Incestuous One" made my whole damned day. Well after it was already made by the rest of the tracy stuff. She was phenominal, as always, and I am more exstatic than I have been in a while that she wason so much of the show!! I noticed something that I'm sure Im not the only one to notice, but it was very small..... I'll save it for the breakroom. If you're not there you'll miss out!! just kidding, I'll put it up tomorrow. Rege... amazing story, as they always are, keep 'em coming. I always forget how much I like your stories until you put one up. It's far too big a gap between them for my taste. MF, loved your's as well. There hasn't been one yet that I haven't, so it's pointless for me to bother telling you anymore, but it was very sweet. I loved everything about it. The whole short was well done and romantic, to me, but I absolutely LOVED the last few lines. Clearly the intention was for those to be the big ones, so all I have to say is mission accomplished. Already commented on Hooked's story and she knows what i think anyway, but loved that also. I always thought it was a good story, but i think the edits were perfect. it was just enough without going overboard, though I'm sure I'll get to tell you in the breakroom later, if you don't see this first. now keep them coming guys! I find short scenes harder than a whole big long story for some reason), but they have been few and far between lately. so I was watching one of my epis last night... the one where she freaks out about the age difference between her and Paul, who let me say, even if he is as big a jerk as they come, was really cute with her and they had a lot of chemistry. It was kinda funny. She stared at herself in the mirror, obviously thinking she wasn't good enough and came out the next scene in spndex leggings, a florescent pink jcket and some strange skirt and sequined top. She looked a bit like Barbie and the Rockers!!

I agree. I don't care who she takes it from if she's with Luke, but i would have prefered it if it wasn't Emily. Especially after yesterday was she was so nice an understanding toward Monica and knowing that she is Alan's pride and joy. I don't think she needs to be made out to be SUCH a horrible witch. I love when she is evil Tracy, but i like it when it is directed at a nonrelative. She is supposed to protect the family, whether or not she likes them. They are family. To hell with the rest... and since Skye is now one of "the rest" I say have at it, tracy!!! Maybe they'll change their minds and have her go after her anyway, instead of Em sidenote: I came back from the doctor today and I lost 15 lbs when I was sick (actually more than that b/c I've gained some back and I'm down 15 right now).
