Hey guys, I just wanted to check in and see what everyone's been up to. I haven't been on in a few, I'm on bed rest. I know... I'm batting a thoughsand this year, aren't I? So I cut my leg, probably knicked it shaving or something b/c I didn't know I did it and it turned into a huge infection over night. I have cellulitus and am waiting to hear back what the infection actually is. I'm betting a staph inf. But I went to the er on friday, I left work early so I culd get there early enough, stayed for 4 hours waiting and then they said they are supposed to admit me for that but they wanted to check my white blood cell count first. My nurse was awesome b/c she talked them into letting me go home. White blood count was ok so I didn't need an IV, so they took a ton of blood and gave me some oral antibiotics and I went home. I am on bedrest and haven't been able to move... I'm going stircrazy at this point and it's only been a few days. At least I get a day off out of this b/c I am not allowed to go back to work (kids and germs) until my doctor gives me the ok. Only thing that really sucks is that I don't get to go shopping. I had to buy a dress for my uncle's wedding next Saturday, oh well! I'll try to be on later but i don't know.

ok, please excuse the fact that I am clearly a dense Tracy fan, but... what? She is Jaon's cousin? Than how is she related to Liz b/c all I can think of now is holy product of an incestuous relationship baby, batman!! Liz is in love with her some-kind-of cousin and yet everyone has a problem with Luke and tracy. I know it's tv but some people have no scruples at all. They hav this, Sam slept with her sister's father, she's trying to sleep with her cousin's brother and she's being made to sleep with her sister's grandfather. Lulu slept with a stepbrother, (though I don't know how many are on here, but no offense to any LnL fans out there) people marry their rapists and fall for murderers left and right and yet Tracy probably has the most character's disliking her. Not too sure about this show anymore. happy sunday so I decided to put up a request for freindly faces on my myspace. I said that I wanted my friends to start posting on my page b/c I am freaked out by how many people you get that you don't know once you put up pictures. It may have been a little snotty to those who are sending me messages, but that's fine with me as long as I don't get the creepy folks telling me nasty things. I think it worked b/c this is the first time that I've been able to go at all and not have any more messages. I want to know what the hell is it about me that attracts all the crazies.

first of all *waves to Hooked*... ok now that that's done... Myspace is freakin' me out so I had to come onto a friendly site. I've had a myspace page for a while but I've never put anything up on it. I had a little bit of a profile and nothing else. I didn't add anything else to that but I finally got to upload a few pics, not a lot and nothing like a lot of the girls who are in college and looking like a giant hooch, just me and my fam and my roomies at school. No sooner did I put them up than I got a ton of friend requests and messages. One guy who, when I checked his profile to see who was writing to me, was a 34 year old slob living in Kansas but he told me he was some girl just out of college (I'm straight by the way, so I don't know he was going for in his messege). He basically thanked me, in a slightly less vulgar way for giving him something to masterbate to tonight. SOOOOO not into hearing that, let me tell you!! Kinda creaped out right now. I was all for keeping in touch with friends from my school and MAYBE meeting people who are a little less shady than that, but I'm not cool with this! I had to block him but I'm hoping it worked

Are you in CT too?! Wow, if you are it's cool there's actually someone near me I guess. And thanks for the lucky thoughts and PS... "oh snap!" doesn't begin to cover it if she tells Luke where he can put his feelings of betrayal. As much as I don't want anything to break them up couple's fight... I definately think that should be one of their's and she should re-establish some power in their relationship b/c he may not even think about who's got the power right now but she just gives it right up to him because she's crazy in love. I love every part of her personality but she needs to keep bringing back a bit more of the 'good ol' Tracy we all know and love. That's the one he initially fell for anyway (or at least I think so). If she was such a push over in the beginning he'd have had no interest. Not that she's much of one now, but certainly more than her usual self. Anyhoo... see you all later

Just to put a different spin on this... as much as I agree with you on the fact that Tracy is and will be loyal to Luke, I don't think that she thought of this as betraying Luke. I think, like most other things in her life, she is doing what she can and teaming with whoever she needs to in order to get the result she wants. I also think that she is doing it, in part (a large part) for Luke, to save him the headache when he returns and to take care of his daughter, no matter how holy a b-tch she's been lately. That being said, I do, in general, agree with what you said, though, so I am kinda pissed she is working with Scotty. I think she could have found someone else or some other way to get what she wants. Have a good day all!!!!

First of all, I'm so sorry I forgot... Happy Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate!!! Next, as for the hair, Mrs Q, I still think it's just that one piece that's bringing it all down. If they could fix that it' be great. OK, now for what I forgot earlier... Alice and the Luke line. My response to that comes in 2 parts. The first is that she was trying to channel Tracy. She got a short haircut (not the same cut, but whatever) and did anywone else see the Tracy hair flip she did right as she said Mr Luke. I think she is trying to be like her onw b/c she still has a crush on Luke and she wants him to notice her. Part II: I think it is kind of a nice thing that she is doing that. Not nice for Tracy, but nice for the story and nice of the writer's. It's common knowledge now that Tracy is madly in love with Luke, though it took a long time before they let her admit it. There are still plenty of people on the show that say that he is only in love with Laura, so I think Alice was acknowledging their relationship and tipping her hat to the fact that Luke is now clearly in love with Tracy as well, otherwise why would she be imitating a woman he does not have feelings for in order to win his attention. Ok,. those are my thoughts on that. Plus it was just a little funny. Ok, night all edit: *waves to Hooked* ... loved the new story by the way... actually loved all the new stories and the new Oh Baby chapters, but there is quite a lot for me to go back and comment on them all now.

ok, so I'm back... I'll fill in on the vacation after, but as for the show..... woohoo!!!! She was on today! Apperently it doesn't work the same way when I go away. She hasn't been on in a month. Anyway, she looked unbelievable today, I thought everything was fantastic but her hair was divine. I can't wait to see where this all goes when Luke comes back. I don't like that it seems to be doinging everything it can to break them apart a little, if not completely, but it could cause for some great scenes, so as long as she's on I'll be happy with it. Ok, LA was great. A little hot for California (actually... from my aunt and uncle who have both been there 10+ years and my cousin's wife who's been there her whole life, they all said that it's the hottest they can remember). It was over 100 and humid everyday, so I didn't mind b/c it was like home for me. I've absolutely decided to move out there when I can. My cousins said he worked with a casting director whose daughter works for a gallery and to let him know when I want to look. He also said that if I want NY he has a lot of connections there for me if I am interested. I, of course would take LA over NY right now, but I'll take what I can get. My aunt called me today after my uncle told her about this and she said that her friend Kristin's cousin owns a gallery and she would email her for me. This all drove my mom nuts. I understand where she is coming from b/c without a degree I've had a lot of payments made without very much income to pay them, including loans and insurance. She also doesn't want me to leave (I know, quite the shocker considering we are close and I am her first born, huh?!). She wants me to go to NY so I can commute, won't have to pay for a car or an apartment or anything other than the things I can't avoid. My aunt, however, trying not to step on any toes, still called and, in addition to the offer to call her friend, she said I can live with them for a long as I want. She said, though I did offer, that she will not have me pay rent and I, even if I get a car, can take the bus to work b/c it is in Santa Monica right near teir house in the Palisades, so both of those extra payments are off my list. She said that I can stay as long as I want and if I insist when I am in a place that I can offord to pay them rent than I can, but that I am family and she will never require it. Plus I can see my boys all the time and my cousin Zander and his wife (who are adorable). I know, that was a really long OT section, but I figured I'd just give what's been going on. That's it for now. I also have a driving test date of Oct 4th. Now after so long of trying to get my medical paperwork through I finally have a day. Once I get a licence I can get a "real" job!! Can't wait. As long as I still get "girls night" with the people I am working with now and can stop by and visit my kids I will have no propblem at all leaving. Ok... Hey guys, jst stopping in for a sec.I don't have time to catch up with all the posts right now, but I will. About the liver... I've heard that too, my cousin Emmy told my mom to do that for her iron. As for the episode i just want to say that it is absolutely bogus horse-pucky tha they are repeating episodes now. When did soaps start doing that? Oh,I'll tell you, on a holiday a few months back (don't remember which one) but that was the first time in the history of soaps, I think, that that has happened. Now it's a pattern?! That being said, i want to go on record as saying that, as much as i don't like that they are repating them, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that it is one with Tracy in it. And a good one at that. I checked out the transcripts and it is the one when he wakes up after surgery and Tracy goes in to his hospital room and she tells him how much she loves him. He does the whole 'nothing scares my sister' bit. As I recall it was a good day. And if I remember right, she looked fantastic, a little tired, but beatiful nonetheless. O, just a quick question... has anyone seen the show Side Order of Life? I thought it was going to be so stupid. Not much of a fan of the star, but the Diana Maria Riva, who plays the best friend is a freakin riot and a half! I love her, she may be a second to JE. Not a very close second yet, but she's certainly up there right now. I think in the story I've written, as it plays in my mind, she is going to be JE's (who is of course my start too) little sister. There's a big age difference so it works in my head. Ok, I'm sure you guys have all watched the show now, but it's still only 2:45 in LA, so I'm signing off to watch it now. LA's great, weather kind of sucks. Actually it's not that bad for a hardy New Englander (or anyone els ein the country) but it's really humid for here. Leaving sunday, though. My cousins are too cute. I'd put up some pics but it turns out that i have thewrong batteries for my camera so that's out. They call me chicken. Th older one couldn't say Kristin whenhe was little and it stuck, so I haven't heard anyone call me Kristin in over a week. That'l be nice when i go home. Every time I put him to bed the older one, Exie (Alessandro... long story) says "I cn't stand it when you aren't here... you don't know how much I love you". Yup, direct quote, which I thought was very cure for a 5 year old. i don't do emotion so it's a good thing he's little b/c that'd be weird for me. But they're so damned cute. I'm gonna miss 'em. I'm so moving out here at sme point. Ok later everyone

Hey guys, just checking in, not much to say now. Well actually, not true, I have a ton to say but not enough space on this post to sufficiently tell you all about my royal b-tch of a day so for now let me just say that it was, in all seriousness, one of the worst days of my life so far. I realize that people usually reserve that for when people die or something, but I am pretty good about accepting things that happen in my life, especially when they are big things. I do, however, have a huge problem when it is an exorbitant amount of little things all strung together. Sucks that TQ isn't on, though no big surprise. As for the Luke/Skye spoiler, I don't know, I may think that it can work for us. I don't really believe it, but I'm kicking it around a bit. It will, first of all, give plenty of screen time when it causes a big problem with him and tracy. It can also bring them together after all the tension. In the most liekly case it is going to be used to break them apart. She will leave him, leaving him open to Laura's big triumphant return. Anyway, talk to you all later. Can't wait for a vacation.

so while I would love to help you guys all out, I am now closed out of both games for some reason. They won't let me back in. I am signed in and I can go to reply but it tells me that I can't do it and if I look at the bottom of the screen, while it says reply to individual posts it says closed where it should say add reply. Does anyone else have this problem. I have only ovted a few times so it can't be that they think I cheated or broke some rules or something so something's up. Hope you are all having better luck, but is anyone having this problem?

OMG, Mrs Q, I think you'd love the hair today. The piece we think ruins the whole hair was even good today. It had oomph up the wazoo and it looked fantastic, especially when it was behind her ear at the end b/c you didn't see the bad piece at all. Otherwise she looked fabulous as always!! May have been a blink and miss day but she looked incredable and she worked it! Anyway, talk to you all later

I love that one in the vida and in the banner. I don't remember whose it is or even if it's here or one of the people here but at HG. I think it is either lainey or TL, though. not sure.... really just rambling till I figure out what the guilts about I guess. That and I need time for my hair to dry b/c I didn't want to straighten it but it takes hours for mine to dry, especially if I want the curls nice (big ol' pain in the ass if you ask me, but less work and damage than a blow dryer in the summer, so there it is) Night guys!! *hi MinveraFan* Edit nevermind... My neighbor brought us this bread earlier today. It's called padre pio. It's a good luck thing and it is suppoed to be blessed, but it's kind of like an italian chain mail. You get the dough, not so much a bread, but the dough and you have to leave it for 2 days, add flour and eggs and sugar 2 days after that and then again 2 days after than, split it in 4s and give 3 of them to other firends. You can't turn the bread away. I've heard of it and knew most of this before but I was reading the print that comes ith it and you are only allowed to make this bread once in your life. Now my question is this: I know they are my people and I love them, but what kind of bass ackwards society passes this around, won't let you turn it away but says you can only do it once? So later on when someone esle gives this to me I have to what, sit in my window holding a sign for them so they can turn around and go or am I going to be going straight to hell for all this? It's not a problem, but I just want to kow if there's another reason I'll be going. Damned blessed chain mail foods!!

Watched the vid, Mrs Q. First of all, loved it like all of them. Second, on the hair, yup that's when I really loved it in the clip you mentioned above. I also really liked it in the courtroom scenes, the sweeps with the brown jacket and in the red suit before the courtroom. I love the bob but I like it a little longer than it is now and with more oomph in in like it had then. But my fave will always be a little longer like in Nov. Anyway, great video. And I can't wait to read more Oh Baby. As for stories, Lainey, did you have a chance to write anythign at all? Deb, what about you? We have Sister Mary yata yata and we still have the long story you were writing (can't remember her name in that one cuz it's been a while) but I just thought I'd ask.

Get your butts over to the couples game guys.... we're down to 197. I know other couples have been eliminated and so they are voting for different people now, but that would explain some going up. We shouldn't have gone down that much so we need to help. We're still kicking some serious ass there though. 197 and the next highest is Robert and Holly at 42 so I guess it's not that bad!!

A few things... First, I can't wait to see the video, MRs Q, I love that song!! Second, it may be unpopular but I am starting to come around to thing Genie returning thing. After everything that happened with Tracy and Luke lately and how much everynoe not only knows they love each other, but accepts it (except the hadrcore LnL fans) I think this could be good for us. She did get some seriously good material last time and thgis has an added bonus of meaning that Luke will have to choose one over the other and I think and completely believe it will be Tracy. And Minerva, ai Odn't really like the new hair either. I like it longer than this (ie Nov last year or around the abortion story). I like one side actually. I think it looks nice and bouncy and has plenty of oomph, but the other side, the one that the hair parts toward, just doesn't llok great. It looks alright, but then there is that one piece that is straighter than the rest of it and it doesn't fit and make the whole thing look bad to me.

Just my little input (and I know I can't vote so feel free to ignore it all), but if I came onto the site and was voting for someone else and saw a whole bunch of those buttons I'd get everyone to vote the other way just for spite. That it if I were really mean spirited, which, I'm not gonna lie, I can be if I want to. Just my thoughts if you wantt o keep all her points don't give anyone a reason to vote antiTracy until she's already one, then post post post with all the little Tracy kicked a$$ buttons that you want. Low blow, my friend. low blow. Deb I know this is a bit late for your post, but as for not being a "real fan" I like to say it is like our family. You can still love them whole heartedly, but you're going to get in a fight or two. Right now I'm just not on speaking terms with them, they are slowing digging themselves out of this hole with the help of my girl JE but it'll take a while... and like family, I'll forgive them but I want them to get their act together. Can still be a "real fan" though. It's the same reaction I have when those redsox guys ask about us yankee fans even though I don't really care about any team I have to defend the boys for my fam. Hooked: I'm working on editing tonight (now that I have some names!!! finally) and I'm coming up with a letter to send so I can email that April woman as soon as I can. I'll work on everything else while I can.
