Luis and Sheridan and Luis and Fancy were pretty much equal fanbase wise by the end.

I didn't like the Fox recast either but at least he was hot. Oh but killing him off in that silly storyline so Esme could be a full time character was dumb. I did not care for Esme or her niece Vikki the serial killer or how many men she slept with.

All I remember around that time was the introduction of Fancy and Noah, and prostitute Jessica storyline started then, that's also when Kay started getting watered down. Paloma was introduced in 04 as well which is when Martin the deadbeat came back to town.

Because the DTV run was so all over the place from what I remember being on the NBC boards then was people really were only interested in Theresa, Ethan, Gwen and Fancy, Luis, Sheridan at the end. Not alot of support for Noah and Palomaand they were like filler and Miguel #3 was the least attractive and such a jerk that alot of fans were no lnoger interested in Kayguel.

I never excepted Heidi as Kay or Kay as a heroine. She was always that scheming vixen that Taylor and Deanna played to me. I think the tsunami stuff is on yt now. I really can't remember all what happened. Chris never came back because he eventually left Sheridan, taking James with him, after being fed up over Sheridan always pining for Luis, and they never found out that Chris worked for Alistar. I liked that little boy that played James alot more than the annoying boy who played Marty. BTW Marty never looked like Sheridan or Luis. They really did not need to bring that kid back, because there was enough plotpoint angst at that time, on DTV they through everything and the kitchen sink at Fancy and Luis.

Details are kind of fuzzzy but for months when they thought Luis was dead, Galen was off the show. When Luis came back Sheridan had moved on with Chris and told Luis she wasn't leaving her new husband, she ended up pregnant by Chris, that whole storyline i nROme, she had a misscarriage but still didn't want to leave Chris because of James, Luis ended up falling for Fancy.

No she actually did slowly become a bitch the more Fancy and Luis hung around each other. But by the time of Fancy's rape she became absolutely vile. She told comatose Fancy that she was damaged goods. I found Fancy more interesting as a heroine than I ever found Sheridan. Paloma took me forever to warm up to(growing out that awful haircut helped) but Paloma #2 was awful. And it didn't help that she was with the equally awful Noah who I never warmed up to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvOs5CJ7lrU&feature=relmfu I remember watching this cringe worthy scene and wondering when the police station turned into a skyrise!

She was pretty badass when she was in Mexico. A real heartless mobster ready to hurt anyone that stood in her way. I thought the actress was pretty good.

Grace was a terrible mother and that was the only time on a soap where I was activiely rooting for the child to be disrespectful to the parent. Grace was such a bitch to Kay. "FYI, pregnant women get morning sickness not evening sickness" Ugh I hated her so much. Did they ever explain why she never supported Kay?

That was the only time Sheridan was any type of interesting even though I rooted for Fancy. Surgary Sheridan was boring and did no favors to MW acting wise.

I liked Vendetta and Red and even Tabloid Truth with the websites and little web videos.

I liked Passions Vendetta.

I remember that Julian's dick nonsense it was stupid. Passions reached new levels of bad on Direct TV . Eve and Julian spent most of their time boozing and popping pills, Vincent kept telling Drunk/High Eve that she was doing the surgery right(he was the only one in the room with her) and at the finale Kay fixed it magically. I also hated Esme and hated that they made her a contract character during Direct TV. She was one of those campy character that should've been restricted to visits only. Ug hand then she slept with Julian after sleepnig with Fox and bragged about it to Fancy.

My least favorite has to be that gloved hand blackmailer/peeping tom/ rapist/he's really Julian and Eve's shemale son storyline. Granded at first Vincent was a little creepy/scary when he was blackmailing Theresa, I could not sit through Fancy getting repeatedly raped and everyone just putting her back in her unsafe room. And then he raped Luis too and used to condom to get Luis's sperm into her. Gross! And then Vincent's obsession with Ethan as he walked around in that creepy mask. It was all too much.

Miguel #2 Adrian Bellani was so hot! But I wasn't a fan of Kay with Heidi in the role nor was a fan of the last two versions of Kayguel

He did vanish and Jessica was offscreen for most of Passions on DTV but she came back for one epi at the end with her baby and said she and Reese reconnected.

Lol I barely remember him beyond being Miguel's nerdy friend and Jessica's boyfriend. I know supposedly he and Jessica ended up together offscreen with baby Sam.

While I hated Luis I thought he was better with Fancy and EH hid alot of GG's acting tics. And from being on the Passions message board that last year I can tell you Lancy had a pretty substantial fanbase at the end.
