  1. I just finished watching the intervention. I have to admit that it didn't live up to the hype for me. I found myself laughing at Luke's one-liners more than anything. I didn't even get teary eyed. I expected to be bawling during this. I thought Tracy and his kids were all wonderful at expressing their emotions and love. Lulu really moved me particularly. Tracy had a great line about Luke teaching her to love or something to that effect. Calvin, the interventionist, wanted her to read the letter and not start engaging in dialogue with Luke when it was her turn, and Luke growled that he was talking to his wife and to butt out. He did look sad when she said he wouldn't be welcome in her bed. I have no doubts they will be able to overcome this with time. More dark days seem to be ahead for the time being, though. I wanted to add that I think all of the actors did an excellent job. They had so much dialogue to memorize. Everybody was spot on in delivering their lines. It all flowed nicely. Also, I don't normally like Sonny, but I was glad he stopped Luke from berating Ethan. It made me so mad when he told Ethan he was disappointed in him. The look on Ethan's face..... I realize that Luke was angry, but it was a bit much. Sonny changed the subject and asked Luke why he can't save himself.
  2. Yes, it was on the 26th. Sonny and Lucky were talking about Luke and Bobbie's father being abusive and how Luke didn't want to turn into him.
  3. I love how Tracy loves her stepkids. Lulu was freaking out in the scene where she, Tracy, Ethan, Nik, and Lucky are all in Lucky's apartment. She said that addiction is Lucky's problem, not Luke's and that she would be ashamed to take part in the intervention. She left, and the camera panned to show Tracy looking at Lucky with concern on her face. It looked like she wanted to hug him on the spot. I love how JE can rock the facial expressions in a scene. Then, she talked Lulu into participating by saying that Luke needs their love and support, etc. Today was great. I can't wait for tomorrow!!!!!
  4. There was a Tracy mention on today's episode. Sonny was trying to convince Luke not to provoke Jason into killing him. He asked him what it would do to Lulu, Ethan, Lucky, and Tracy. Sonny said, "Tracy loves you. She doesn't deserve this." Luke said, "No, she doesn't. She deserves a hell of a lot better than me... and, she'll get it." Then, he said they were all survivors and would be ok without him.
  5. You're welcome. The video was great. I love that song!
  6. hooked, thanks for posting the interviews and links. You are so good to us. I wouldn't be able to find all of these because of lack of time. I really appreciate that you share these with us.
  7. I had a cat from when I was 11 until I was 23. We got her when she was a kitten. She was fine alone in the house during the day, although the furniture did take a beating. That is something you might want to consider. Scratching posts don't always work. My cat had an independent personality. She was never a lap cat until she got to be much older. She was litter trained and never went outside. It is funny, but even though she was so aloof at times, whenever we came home she would come running to the door to greet us. Ah, this makes me miss my kitty.
  8. Sorry to hear that, hooked. At least your insurance will cover it. Poor doggie. Thanks for the spoiler. It would make sense for her to threaten him with divorce if he doesn't go to rehab.
  9. Happy Easter! Good luck with the move, Remos. I hope you find a place quickly.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmoM3_KDxCQ Here is the promo for Luke's intervention. I am not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but I wanted to share it anyway. It looks like the episode is going to be awesome!!!!
  11. Thanks for sharing the videos, Ms.Q. I enjoyed them as always.
  12. Thanks for the interview, hooked. I hope JI's health rumors aren't true. He seems like he is a sweet man in real life. TG and JE are sure making the rounds for this intervention with three interviews so far; it must be an epic episode. I can't wait for it. Next Thursday is too far off!
  13. Thanks for the info, hooked. I am not surprised that TPTB would tie Edward's exit from the show to Jason and Michael. There is unfinished business to attend to among them. Tracy/Edward have basically made their peace over the recent years. He told her he loved her and was proud of her when she was sick during Toxic Balls. He told Carly that he was proud of Tracy's strength and intelligence when Carly told him Tracy had been a victim of the poison. He talked to Lila's picture at the wedding and said he was glad Tracy was happy at last. I am sure some of you would like to see more, however I don't think the writers are interested in giving that to you. Since Jason is a lead character who has been the prodigal son all these years, he is going to be the one to be in the spotlight during Edward's exit. They are going to make amends, blah blah blah. I don't really like it that much because I don't care for Jason, but on a show that is wrapped around Jason's finger I don't see any other outcome.
  14. She does deserves it. But if we can't get a happy ending, then why not go for a euthanasia story? It is a social issue that hasn't been covered to any extent in the history of the soap opera genre. It would be the equivalent of "going out with a roar." Yes, it would not be true to Tracy's character to go through with suicide as ILTQ has stated, however it would be a matter of her loving him enough to want to die with him. She knows how self-destructive he is, and she wouldn't want him to go through that kind of pain after her death. I know I am reaching here, but that is my opinion and I am sticking with it. Haha. Realistically, I want them to get their happy ending and either remain in Port Charles or take that vacation in Italy that Luke was talking about in Helena's dungeon. He wanted to take her to Siena's vineyards. I could see them traveling the world for a while before settling back down in the mansion.
  15. I have been thinking about ILTQ's question, and, honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Tracy die when the show finally gets canceled. Several ideas come to mind such as Tracy being the victim of a hit and run or a mob shootout in which Luke gets to be the hero and avenge his Spanky's death. She could also get a terminal illness resulting in a heartfelt funeral that is attended by her sons, the Q's, and the Spencers. Luke could then kill himself when faced with the prospect of living without her. Actually, I am a fan of Bette Davis and there is a TV movie from the '80s called "Right of Way." Jimmy Stewart played her husband. They were an elderly couple faced with the prospect of the wife's death from a terminal illness. He decided he didn't want to live without her, so they decided to kill themselves. They told their daughter, who was against it. She contacted social workers to try to get them to change their minds. In the end, they go through with it. Their method was death by carbon monoxide poisoning--sitting in their car in the garage with the motor running. The daughter arrives while this is happening, and she decides to let them go through with it. Very sad story. However, I could see something like this with Luke and Tracy. She could be diagnosed with some rare terminal illness. They decide to end their lives. This would be the scenario I would want to see only if I couldn't get a happy ending for them.
  16. Thanks for the article, hooked. I loved the part where he says Tracy is used to screaming fights having grown up a Quartermaine. Too funny.
  17. Just one, hooked. Luke said he could tell by the look on his Spanky's face that she had spent the afternoon talking to his kids about what to do with him. He said they couldn't reach a consensus and described what each kid had said. He said Ethan said it was a horrible accident and there is nothing wrong with him; Lulu ever the daddy's girl was protective of him and said she doesn't think he is an alcoholic but inside she is terrified that he could be; and Lucky thinks he is a hopeless lush beyond help. Tracy said he was correct, but that they all agreed that they would have to bury him too if he keeps going like he is now.
  18. I feel like a dope because I thought it was a ball that she threw at him on Thursday's episode. I had to go back and edit my other post where I was describing that scene. It is funny because I figured it out after I watched today's episode. I was like why is he throwing a die at her instead of the ball I thought was thrown? I just re-watched Thursday's scenes and I could clearly see some white mixed in with black. She threw it so fast that it was a blur the first time I watched it. I like to read the recaps on Daytime Confidential, and they said it was a ball. So, I watched the episode thinking that was what I was going to see.
  19. I am glad she was on again today, too. It isn't very often that Tracy is on two days in a row. I don't think Carly should be involved in the intervention either. She and Luke have only started to develop closer ties. It isn't like she can will him to get help based on some deep personal connection or history between them. Bobbie should be there in her place. Luke's drinking is becoming painful to watch. This story is getting more depressing by the day. Thanks for the article, Carl. It is interesting to note how Tracy has evolved over the years from a totally selfish character, in JE's opinion, to a multi-layered one, who is both caring and loving as well as fiery and feisty. That was on full display today when she was walking the fine line of trying to inspire Lucky to take action to help Luke all the while remaining sensitive to his grief.
  20. I feel awful for the AMC/OLTL fans. I know very well how devastating it is to lose your favorite soap, the one you've watched for years and years. I went through that when GL was canceled. It really does feel like you have lost a part of your life, your past. I am 29, and I watched the show for 22 years literally from childhood. Like anything else, though, you move on and find something else to enjoy. GH/LuNacy was that for me. I know these fans are upset now, but time will ease the hurt. I am still mad about the cancellation when I watch old GL clips on YT, but I am so grateful that I have the option to see it on YT whenever I want. Thank goodness for that. We will always have our LuNacy clips when GH ends. I want it to last longer than what you're hearing, hooked. I don't think I am ready for LuNacy to end just yet. JE was so awesome today!!!!! She threw a big die at Luke. He couldn't catch it, so he tried to trick her into not catching it by throwing it while he was talking about something else. She caught it, and he said, "lucky catch." She was like maybe it's the tennis, or the walks I take every day since you had your heart attack, or maybe I was a champion shortstop in another life, or maybe it is because I didn't have a fifth of scotch before breakfast. After that last line about the drinking, which she delivered with a catch in her throat and teary eyes, she left the office. Luke had some great lines after she threw the die. He said he loved her and that she challenges him every day. She said he drinks too much, but that she is not judging him because she stands next to him with a martini glass in hand. He then said that she knows him better than anyone. Also, he was going to go home, but he couldn't bring himself to drive because of memories of the night he hit Jake.
  21. Thanks, Hooked. I loved the part where Tony says he and Jane are tired of being the show's clowns.
  22. Hi Halee! We've missed you around here. You guys are right about her hair looking orange-red in those mediapics. I remember now. When she had lunch with Skye and Maya there was a mediapic that made her hair look that way. Haha. It has been so long since we have seen her in any mediapics. It is about time. The JE/TG interview should be good. I think it is awesome that they are such good friends in real life. It really shows on screen. Nex, I want to go to Key West. That would be my ultimate vacation.
  23. Thanks for the bigger pics, Hooked. Funny, I was thinking the same thing about TG. He must have had to take many trips to the potty with all the drinking Luke has been doing lately. It looks like JE has dyed her hair again based on these larger images of the intervention. It looks like a lighter shade of red, almost orange. It isn't the same dark auburn she has had for the last few months. Does anyone else see that or is it the lighting?
  24. Thanks, Hooked. It looks like this storyline is going to get even better.
  25. Thanks for the links to the intervention photos, Funny. It looks like it is going to be an awesome episode. I can't wait to see it!
