2. Vancouver:

I'm usually on Team Mary, but she was annoying this last episode. I was rolling my eyes when she told Ronnie to sniff her drink. I thought Jody was spot on about not drinking in front of someone that is an alcoholic. My parents are both alcoholics and I never even consider drinking in front of them.

Amanda: I just can't. She's trying way too hard to try and be as dramatic as possible. I hope Ioulia kicks her ass. I really wish they would have just made Mia a housewife instead of Amanda. At least Mia is a train wreck in a good TV way.

Robin: LOL she was a mess. Mary totally used her this last episode with getting her to be her back up singer.

  3. LOL one of the funniest episodes yet. I bursted out laughing after Liam's "Yeah" comment when Carl piped up about them getting [!@#$%^&*] on the tip of their dicks.

The V/Kev/Mom stuff was so nasty, yet so entertaining. "I feel like a prostitute ghost" & "I feel like I'm [!@#$%^&*] Casper" LOL.

  4. All caught up on Vancouver.

Loved Ronnie going after Amanda. Ronnie's turned into such a godfather like character. Nobody messes with her. I just about laughed when they showed the outside of Amanda's house. Yes, it's a nice home, but she's sooooooo out of her league with the other women. I expected Jodi to put on gloves before entering her house.

Still can't stand Jodi. I feel like starting a drinking game every time she calls Mary unstable. I'm kinda liking Mia though this season. She's fun to watch.

I'm loving Ioulia & Robin so far. Ioulia makes a great step mom!

  5. Vancouver: Enjoyed the premiere. Got a bit sick of Ronnie though and Jodi who so plays it up for the camera. I hope Mary wipes the floor with them this season.

I'm really liking the new Russian Housewife. I see a lot of promise out of her. Still iffy about Robin. She seems rather fake, but I'm kinda excited about that preview of her and Ronnie going head to head. Amanda is horrible. She looks so washed up.

    Amanda

Cast, The Real Housewives of Vancouver

Amanda is a woman with a lot of baggage – and not just the Louis Vuitton variety! Joining the cast for Season Two, Amanda is best described as a bad girl gone good. A recovering alcoholic, Amanda has given up her partying ways and found strength in a life of sobriety and healthy living. Although Amanda has traded in her wild lifestyle, she’s far from being tame. A self-confessed sex addict with a short temper, she enjoys a passionate and fiery relationship with her gorgeous long-distance boyfriend, Kyle, who lives south of the border in Seattle, WA. Recently divorced from a man who took care of everything, Amanda doesn’t have to work to maintain her luxurious lifestyle, and her main focus lies on raising her three children, ages 10, seven and five, on Vancouver’s North Shore. She believes that honesty is always the best policy. As a result, Amanda is quick to call people out on their lies and bad behavior – a trait which earns her a lot of respect…and enemies! Be sure to set your alerts and reminders because you don't want to miss this!

    Ioulia

Cast, The Real Housewives of Vancouver

Joining the cast for Season Two, Ioulia (pronounced Yoo-lee-ah) is a Russian-born beauty who immigrated to Canada over 11 years ago with her family. Married to a wealthy venture capitalist almost 20 years her senior, Ioulia has a fierce desire to build a career and be independent but currently relies on her husband for financial support as she tries to find her feet. Having studied at Sotheby’s in London, Ioulia hopes to make her mark as a broker in the high stakes art world. While Ioulia’s marriage may garner cynicism from the other wives, she and her husband of five years are deeply in love. They share a passion for art, fashion and luxury cars. Ioulia also prides herself on being the cool stepmother of his four children. Ioulia and her husband live in the prestigious Coal Harbour. With an exotic accent, a fiery Russian temper and a unique sense of humour that doesn't always translate, Ioulia frequently elicits a raised eyebrow or headshake from the other wives, who can't quite figure out if their new comrade is a friend or a foe!

    Robin

Cast, The Real Housewives of Vancouver

They say everything’s bigger in Texas and Robin’s outgoing personality is certainly proof of that. Robin moved to Vancouver from the Lone Star State 19 years ago and brought with her a deep southern twang and a passion for riding horses. A mother of two young girls, Robin lives a country chic lifestyle complete with two nannies, a Point Grey home and a Prada saddle for her European Warmblood horse, Giggy – all thanks to a healthy settlement from her recent divorce – yeehaw! Joining the cast for Season Two, Robin feels that Vancouver women need to loosen up and start breaking the rules. Although her southern roots are founded on strong Christian values, Robin’s appetite for gossip and penchant for partying often put her at odds with her belief system, and the other wives. But adversity is no sweat for this southern belle. With eight years of experience working in Dallas-area prisons, Robin is a tough-as-nails straight shooter with a heart as big as Texas and a mouth to match!

  7. I saw that, and thought it was strange. To go from Billy Felder to Cole St. John... and Ricardo Escrobar! laugh.png Could you imagine Maria Escrobar-Evans? Just doesn't have the same ring to it. So glad they changed both, especially Cole's character name.

I've got a few scans from Inside Soap magazine that I'll post here for those that are interested.

    I loved the Ricardo/Gabi/Antonio triangle.

  8. I'm rooting for the country boy Milos Raonic. He's been such a great influence for Tennis in Canada. I'm glad he's made it to the third round. Also, I'm rooting for Wozniak of Canada on the women's side. She's into the third round as well, but faces a huge challenge with Azarenka.

  9. I love Christina, at least she owns up to being a bitch. Although, I think the bitch is lying about her age. Didn't she say she was 29? I swear she looks like she's in her 40's though.

I agree about Reiko. I actually really like her, but she's quite boring.

And lol at Mary not having work done. That face has had some serious work done.

  10. Jody & Mia were such bitches last night. I couldn`t believe they had the nerve to serve Mary with legal notice that they were going to sue her. It looks like Jody is going to become alienated from the rest of the girls. I hope Ronnie, Mary & Christina tear her a new !@#$%^&*].

I wonder if Jody is really as rich as she claims. She kept going on about how only her and Ronnie are really the wealthy ones. Her little comment to Mary about her being a renter was lame. I loved how Christina defended that comment. I just love Christina.

  11. I didn't mind the reboot. I liked the new set, but the writers totally destroyed the older characters. Jo & Jane were written so out of character. I didn't mind Sydney being alive, but I hated that they killed her within the first 5 minutes. Why bother bringing her back. The murder mystery was stupid.
