After drifting out of EE for a while, i am slowly watching it again. I admit there are some stuff that Kirkwood does better than Santer, but he does have his weak moments.

Kirkwood has created less appealing characters than Santer did. Maybe it was because in 2007, EE needed a revamp, where as now it doesn't. But i can't help but notice that Kirkwood's characters for EE haven't been that interesting...yet.

As for story structure, its an improvement. I admit, the stories are more drawn out and fairer time is given to the characters.

I'm back people and i have recently been watching Hollyoaks.

First of all, 2011 is sort of been a real step up from late 2010. While Warren's return was both silly and dissapointing, he is still a great character to watch. And Brenden has improved and is more of a lost soul than a bad boy. However Ste's role in the show has dimmished a lot and is more Brenden & Warren's little boy on a leesh than more of his own hardman.

Nothing else more to say, other than The Serial Killer story isn't as engaging as i thought it would be.

Yes Julias Theme was heard. Watching tonights episode right now and Phil is now got the club with Roxy. A lot of Phil's enemies had that club and now Phil has it. Hope he gives Billy some share as Billy owned that Club for a few years too.

Mitzee i think has done well. Apparantly she gets more stories in 2011.

And The Arsonist was also revealed...kind of expecting that in a way.

Wonder where that certain storyline will go next ? Control Freak alert!

I hope we have some news of new characters joining the show. We havent heard any since Lacey's sister joining. It has just been this actress leaving and this actress going. Come on, Announce new people coming IN not OUT.

Channel 4 have denied it. Its sticking around and hopefully Gareth Phillips can make it worthwile again.

Dont Think Kirkwood will go either. Its only been one storyline and besides, so far hes doing a really good job with the show. More Gritty, More Real and More Entertaining. Hopefully BBC wont be so stupid and give in to the fans demands. If they do, it will worsen the show.

doubt it. But it could work wonders for the show. I thought decreasing it to 3 nights a week (Mon,Wed & Fri) in a bid to increase ratings.
