Amanda: I understand Cameron. You don’t have to explain it again. I saw first hand what Evan did.

Cameron: I never stopped loving you. Your love kept me going. I knew that I would find you again.

Amanda: I was devastated when I received those papers.

Cameron: You really thought I wanted a divorce?

Amanda: I had no way of knowing that Evan forced you to sign them. I’m sure he was more than happy to send them to me.

Cameron: Yeah he said that I didn’t deserve you because I slept with Josie.

Amanda: I forgave you for that. Have you spoken to your son?

Cameron: Yesterday. I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me to go see him.

Amanda: I…I can’t.

Cameron: Why not? He wants to see you.

Amanda: You don’t understand Cameron.

Cameron: I do. Does it have something to do with Allen Love?

John and Sharlene are on the couch.

John (holding Sharlene): It’s been a while since we did this.

Sharlene: A nice, quiet evening together? Yeah it’s been a long time coming.

John: I let you go once. I don’t want to do it again.

Sharlene: That affair was over twenty years ago. Our love has proven to be stronger than any adversity.

John: You’re the love of my life. I’ll do anything to protect you.

Sharlene: I trust you…with all my heart John.

They kiss passionately, and John carries Sharlene upstairs.

Reginald is sipping on a glass of wine when someone rings his doorbell...and gets a surprise visitor.

Reginald: Bridget!

Bridget: Can I come in?

Reginald: My dear what brings you by?

Bridget: I’m here to stand by you.

Reginald: You’re the only one in the family who has.

Bridget: I know deep down you didn’t want to hurt Aunt Nicole. You didn’t mean for her to have cancer.

Reginald: Of course not. I would never intentionally hurt any member of my family.

Bridget: So why did you keep her locked up?

Reginald: Nicole did some horrible things and she needed help.

Bridget: She was crazy?

Reginald: I wouldn’t say that. I was trying to help my daughter. That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. You’ve got to believe me.

Bridget: Everyone says you’re evil, but I don’t see it.

Reginald: I’ve done some things in the past that I probably shouldn’t have, but know that I truly adore you. My sweet great-granddaughter, I would never do anything to hurt you.

Bridget: I know, and you have my full support. I don’t care what anyone else says.

JOHN and SHARLENE’S BEDROOM

Sharlene: That felt so good…being with my husband.

John: You don’t know how good this feels.

Sharlene: There’s no place I’d rather be.

John: I’ll never forget this feeling.

Sharlene: We’ve gone through so much to get here.

John: I was afraid though.

Sharlene: Of what?

John: Afraid of the past happening again.

Sharlene: John I know you’re not feeling guilty about your affair almost twenty years ago.

John: I’m not talking about that…I’m talking about Sharly.

Sharlene: John…she’s gone. I’ve been integrated.

John: I don’t want anything triggering her possible return.

Sharlene: She’s not coming back. I want you to stop worrying about it.

John: I was so afraid of you remembering what happened that day Grant was shot.

Sharlene: John..it’s over…we learned from that experience. We learned that we should be honest with each other. I don’t want to keep things from you.

John flashes back to when he told Dr. Taylor to do whatever he could to prevent Sharlene’s memories from coming back.

John (feeling guilty): No secrets.

Amanda: He was there when the papers arrived. He was a real comfort to me.

Cameron: How…much of a comfort?

Amanda: Cameron we shouldn’t talk about this here.

Cameron: You…slept with him didn’t you?

Amanda doesn’t respond, but Cameron knows the answer.

Cameron: So you really thought that I just left you?

Amanda: What was I supposed to think? You just disappeared and I didn’t hear from you.

Cameron: I told you what happened. I was kidnapped.

Amanda: What was I supposed to think?

Cameron: You’re supposed to trust me. Trust in our love. You turned to Allen Love.

Cameron wipes his mouth, puts his handkerchief down, and gets up.

Amanda: Where are you going?

Cameron: I don’t know.
