Jennifer walks out of the elevator at the hospital. She goes to the nurses station, and sees Daniel.

Jennifer: Daniel, hi, do you know if Carly is still here?

Daniel: I think she just left.

Jennifer: Oh.

Daniel: Is there something I can help you with?

Jennifer: Do you have time to listen to a woman complain about her disappearing husband?

Daniel: If you have time to listen to a man complain about his soon to be ex-wife.

Jennifer: I think I do.

Abby is standing at the secretary’s desk at Basic Black. Kate walks out of the elevator, and walks to Abby.

Kate: Abby, hi.

Abby: Hi Ms. DiM-

Kate: Please, call me Kate.

Abby: Ok. Kate, I wanted to talk to you. Do you have some time?

Kate: Sure. Come to my office.

They go to Kate’s office, and sit down.

Kate: So, what’s this about?

Abby: Ok, so now that I’m back in Salem, I’ve decided to stay for good.

Kate: That’s good.

Abby: So, I took a few fashion courses in London, and I was wondering if you had any positions available here.

Nicole is sitting in the living room in the DiMera mansion. EJ walks in.

EJ: Hello, Nicole.

Nicole: Hi.

EJ pours himself a drink.

EJ: You want a drink?

Nicole: Sure.

He pours another one, and hands it to Nicole.

EJ: So, what are your plans for tonight?

Nicole: I don’t really have any. I was planning on staying in, because of the storm. What about you?

EJ: I have a meeting tonight. If the storm isn’t too bad, maybe we can go get dinner tonight.

Nicole sips her drink.

Nicole: Are you asking me out on a date?

EJ: Depends on what you mean by date.

Nicole gets up.

Nicole: EJ, I think we need to talk about what happened between us.

Jillian is in her hotel room in New York. Her cell phone rings. She picks it up.

Jillian: Hello?

She pauses as the other person speaks.

Jillian: So, how much longer until you get here?

She pauses.

Jillian: Ok. I can’t wait to see you.

She hangs up.

Kate and Abby are sitting in Kate’s office. Kate is looking through some papers.

Kate: I’m really impressed with how well you did in your courses.

Abby: Thank you.

Kate: Wow, you also took some business courses.

Abby: Yes.

Kate: So, would you be more interested in the fashion part, or the business part.

Abby: I was leaning more towards fashion, but business is good too.

Kate: Good. I just hired a new designer, her name is Jillian Clark. She is very good. I’d like to put you with her.

Abby: Wow, that sounds great. A lot more than what I was expecting. Thank you so much.

Kate: No problem. Would you like to see some of her work?

Abby: Sure!

Daniel and Jennifer are sitting at the bar in the Cheatin’ Heart.

Jennifer: And do you think he called, at least once?

Daniel: Why can’t anyone just do what’s right?

Jennifer: I’ve been asking myself that for years. But no more. I am done with this. I am done being sweet forgiving Jennifer! All I get is being hurt again!

Daniel: Cheers to that.

They clink their glasses together.

EJ and Nicole are in the living room of the DiMera mansion.

EJ: Are you referring to the kiss?

Nicole: Yes. I think it’s safe to say that we never really had closure. I mean you just kicked us out, I kidnapped Sydney, and went to jail. We never really had a break up.

EJ: You know, I thought I stopped loving you. I hated you for what you did. But then I see you with the kids, and all the feelings I had for you come flooding back.

Nicole: So, is this something real, or is it just the residual feelings?

EJ: I guess we’ll have to figure that out.

EJ looks at his watch.

EJ: Well, I need to get to that meeting.

Nicole: Ok. Call me when your finished.

EJ: I will.

EJ leaves.

Kate and Abby are sitting in Kate’s office.

Abby: Her designs are amazing.

Kate: I think you will really enjoy working with her.

Abby: So do I.

Kate: Well, I’ll call you when she gets back, and we’ll start from there.

They get up.

Abby: Thank you so much.

Jillian is standing in her hotel room in New York. She is wearing a robe. There is a knock on the door. She smiles, and opens it.

Jillian: I’ve missed you so much.

Austin Reed kisses her.

Austin: So have I.

He walks in, and she closes the door.
