EJ is in the restaurant of a hotel in New York. He sits at the bar, and orders a drink. A woman sits next to him.

Woman: First time in New York?

EJ: No, actually. I’ve been here a few times.

Woman: Really. What brings you here today?

EJ: Business. I’m EJ, by the way.

Woman: I’m Jillian.

They shake hands.

Jillian: That’s an interesting name.

EJ laughs.

EJ: Long story.

Nicole is sitting in the living room of the DiMera mansion. The doorbell rings. She gets up, and goes into the foyer. She opens the door, and Taylor is standing outside.

Nicole: Taylor, what are you doing here?

Taylor walks in.

Nicole: Sure, walk right in.

Taylor: Pretty nice place, Nikki. I would have never guessed you would end up here.

Nicole: Yeah, me either. So, what are you doing here?

Taylor: Thought I would visit my sister, and my niece, or whatever she is.

Nicole: Taylor, please don’t start with me.

Taylor: Sorry. I’m being mean. I’ll try to stop.

Nicole: Ok. So, you want to stay for dinner or something?

Taylor: Sure. What about mom? Ever invite her here, or Brandon?

Nicole looks at Taylor, and rolls her eyes.

Carrie is standing on the pier. She is about to dial Austin’s number, but stops. Rafe walks by.

Rafe: Hey, Carrie.

Carrie turns around.

Carrie: Hi Rafe. How are you?

Rafe: I’m ok.

Rafe notices tears in her eyes.

Rafe: Are you ok?

Carrie: Yeah, I’m fine. Just thinking about my life. How I’m getting what I’ve always wanted, this baby, and how I’m loosing my marriage.

Rafe: I’m sorry about that.

Carrie: Are you ok? You look like something’s bothering you.

Rafe: It’s just everything with Sami. I’ve been trying to make things feel better for her, but it’s just pushing us further apart.

Carrie: Rafe, it’s not your fault.

Daniel is sitting on the couch in his apartment. Chloe walks in.

Daniel: How’s Parker?

Chloe: He’s ok. Daniel, please tell me you’ve thought about this.

Daniel: I have.

Chloe: Please tell me you will stay a part of Parker’s life.

Daniel: I can’t, Chloe. I can’t stay married to someone like you, with all these secretes and lies.

Chloe: Daniel, please don’t do this!

Chloe moves closer to Daniel as he gets up.

Daniel: I guess you will be living with Philip now. Please have all your things gone by tomorrow.

Daniel puts his jacket on.

Chloe: Please, Daniel! We can get through this!

Daniel leaves the apartment, as Chloe starts crying.

EJ and Jillian are sitting at the bar, a little drunk.

Jillian: So, that’s an interesting story, Elvis.

She laughs. She moves closer to him, and puts her hand on his lap.

Jillian: So, I have a room upstairs, bug cozy. Why don’t you join me in about an hour?

EJ: How can I refuse an offer like that?

Jillian smiles.

Jillian: Room 307.

EJ: I’m looking forward to it.

Jillian gets up, and EJ smiles.

Nicole and Taylor are sitting at the table in the dining room.

Taylor: Not a bad dinner. Been a while since we actually had a dinner together.

Nicole: Taylor, I’d like to change that.

Taylor: Why? After all these years.

Nicole: I know things weren’t always great between us-

Taylor: That’s an understatement.

Nicole: But, we can get over all that. Come on, you’re my little sister.

Taylor: If I didn’t come back to Salem, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Nicole: Can we just forget about all that? We are here now, and that’s all that matters.

Taylor: What about mom?

Nicole: Oh boy.

Taylor: She’s worried about you! She thinks your loosing your mind after everything that happened with Sydney.

Nicole: I am not loosing my mind! I am finally getting what’s mine, and that’s Sydney!

Taylor: Whatever you say. It’s funny how you are looking for a family when you have one that actually accepts you.

Nicole: Taylor, I have had enough of this. If you don’t approve of my life, then you can leave. Or is this because your jealous?

Taylor laughs.

Taylor: Jealous of what? Please Nicole, you have nothing I want.

Carrie walks into the Brady Pub, and sees Kate sitting. She walks to Kate, and Kate gets up.

Kate: It’s so good to see you.

Kate hugs her. They sit down.

Kate: So, is something going on? You seemed pretty anxious on the phone.

Carrie: It’s about Austin. Have you spoken to him recently?

Kate: Not really. I know it’s no excuse, but I’ve been busy, I assume he’s been busy. Why? Is something wrong?

Carrie: We’ve been having problems for a while now.

Kate: What’s causing these problems?

Carrie: It’s about me wanting kids.

Kate looks at her stomach.

Kate: I was going to ask.

Carrie: Yes, I’m pregnant.

Chloe is sitting in the apartment, crying. There is a knock at the door. She opens it, and Philip is standing outside. Philip hugs her.

Philip: It’s going to be ok.

Chloe: No it’s not. Our marriages are both over! Daniel lost a son. Your life has been turned around. I made such a huge mess.

Philip: Were going to figure it out, Chloe.

Chloe: Look, I really don’t know about moving into Victor’s. He hates me, and I don’t want to get started with your mother.

Philip: Ok, we’ll get our own place. I want to do it right this time, Chloe.

Chloe: I’m sorry. I keep going on and on about myself, and I’m not even thinking of you, and everything you went through with Tyler.

Philip: I wasn’t ready then. I wasn’t in the right spot. But it’s different now.

Chloe hugs him.

Philip: We’re going to get through this.

EJ knocks on a door in the hotel. Jillian answers the door, wrapped in a robe.

Jillian: Come in.

He kisses her, and they close the door. They move closer to the bed, as she takes his shirt off. EJ goes on top of her, on the bed, and kisses her.

Nicole and Taylor are sitting in the dining room.

Nicole: I’ve had enough of this.

Taylor: Me too, Nikki. We have to do this again sometime.

Nicole: Oh yeah.

They get up, and Taylor gets her jacket. They go into the foyer.

Taylor: See you.

Nicole opens the door, and Taylor leaves.

Kate and Carrie are sitting in the Brady Pub.

Kate: I can’t believe he would do this, while your pregnant.

Carrie: He actually doesn’t know I’m pregnant.

Kate: You need to tell him.

Carrie: I’ve tried calling him. He’s not answering, or returning my calls.

Kate: Do you think he could be in some sort of trouble?

Carrie: I’m not sure.

Kate: There’s something really weird about this.

Carrie: I don’t know. This is how he was always acting. When Will left to come back here, I talked to him about wanting kids, and that’s when he started working extra hours, taking more business trips. And then we finally got back to normal, and I brought it up again and it just ruined everything.

Kate: I’m going to try and find out where his last trip was.

Nicole is standing in the living room of the DiMera mansion. She has tears in her eyes, as she remembers taking Sydney away from Sami at the wedding.

Nicole: I don’t know if I can keep doing this.
