Springfield continues mourning Remy Boudreau...

Church:

The funeral for Remy Boudreau is being held.

Felicia and Clayton walk up in front of everyone.

Mel begins crying in Rick's arms.

Clayton clears his throat, "Thank you everyone for being here. We loved our son very much and it means a lot to see how many other people loved him as well."

Felicia wipes her tears, "Remy was a beautiful young man. He was thoughtful, smart, funny, caring, considerate, brave, he was everything that any man should aspire to be. We were so blessed to have him in our lives even if it wasn't for as long as we would have..."

Felicia turns away.

Clayton sighs, "Uh... this is obviously a very difficult time for all of us. Our lives will never be the same without our... I'm just saying that no parent should..."

Clayton is trying hard to be strong.

Rick and Mel quickly walk up and allow the grieving parents to sit back down.

Clayton and Felicia hugs their daughter before taking their seats.

Rick looks at everyone, "I am very lucky to have Remy as a brother in law. He was very protective of his sister and he was the same way when he became an uncle. I always knew if something happened to me that I wouldn't have to worry because Remy would always be there for them. No matter what."

Mel wipes her tears, "Remy and I were not close in age. I was much older when he was born. So I think that's why I felt like he was almost a son to me. I helped raise him. And he got me ready to become a mother and a stepmother. I really wish that his son could have got to know him better but I promise I will never let him forget about his wonderful father that he had, never. I loved my little brother very much. He was my brother, my son, my hero, my friend."

Rick and Mel take their seats.

Many people are wiping away tears.

Liz holds her son and doesn't pay attention to what is going on around her.

Cedars:

Natalia walks back into Alan's room.

She looks at him, "I'm gonna get a nurse for you and then I'll be right back okay?"

Alan sighs, "No... No Natalia, please don't go."

Natalia walks back over, "Alan..."

He stares, "You said... Remy Boudreau, what happened?"

Natalia sits by him, "Oh Alan you know what happened. You hired that man to force Remy and Lizzie to Towers. Remy tried to stop him and they crashed. Remy is gone."

Alan shakes his head, "No. No, that is not what I was trying to do. I didn't want him dead."

She shushes him, "Alan just relax. Don't upset yourself right now. You just had the heart transplant."

He shakes his head, "It doesn't make sense. If God can forgive me and give me another chance then why couldn't he save Detective Boudreau? It doesn't make any sense."

She sighs, "We aren't supposed to understand God's plan. We are just supposed to trust."

Alan is confused, "No, I have this new heart now. I got another chance. We both should have got another chance."

Natalia wipes a tear, "Alan stop."

He sighs, "Why couldn't we both survive?"

Natalia shouts, "It was not possible!"

Alan stares in confusion.

Church:

Everyone is taking time to talk about Remy.

David is now up there, "Remy was probably the best partner a cop could ask for. He always put in 110 percent to what we were doing. No matter what was going on at home he would always be professional. I never once worried because I knew I was lucky enough to have a partner that would always have my back and I would have his. He became like a brother to me. And I think he was a hero for a lot of people..."

Marina is not up there, "Remy was one of the best friends I ever had. There was a period of time when it was him, Tammy, and myself living in an apartment together. The three of us were very good friends. Remy and I were there for each other when Tammy died. It was very difficult for both of us to imagine life without her. And now here I am just a few years later standing here trying to say good bye to Remy... he was probably one of the greatest friends of my life. I love ya Remy..."

Stephanie is now speaking, "I only dated Remy for a short while. But we became long time friends after that. I mean I don't see how anyone who had a chance to be friends with Remy wouldn't jump at the opportunity. I mean he was always there for you. When someone needed Remy he was there. He was one of the people who inspired me to become a cop and he was who I looked up to while I went through training. I hate to sound like the broken record up here but Remy was a hero to me as well. I'm going to miss him a whole lot and I think we all will..."

Leah stands up in front of the people, "Remy was my uncle. Whenever I had a hard time talking to my parents, he was the person that I would call. He was so understanding and he was never judgmental. He was like my big brother and my uncle all at the same time. And I know how much he loved his son and how much he loved Liz. I hope one day I am lucky enough to find a guy like my Uncle Remy. Anyone who finds a guy half as good as Remy was should be grateful. Because he was an amazing person."

Leah walks down and sits back with her family.

Everyone turns to Liz and expects her to get up.

She continues to distract herself with her son.

Towers:

Marah steps off the elevator.

She is dressed in black and left early from Remy's funeral.

She sits at the bar and orders her drink.

Eden is sitting a few stools away.

She grins, "Marah Lewis?"

Marah turns and her jaw drops, "Oh my God! Eden?"

The two jump up and hug.

Eden smiles, "It's good to see you!"

Marah laughs, "I heard but I still can't believe it. I'm so glad that you're okay. I feel like I've got and old new friend back in Springfield. And I could really use one."

Eden nods, "Tell me about it. I'm so sorry about Remy. Do you know if Bill is coming back for the funeral?"

Marah shakes her head, "Bill doesn't come back for much. Does he know that you're..."

Eden nods, "Bill knew all along. He probably doesn't know I'm back in Springfield though."

Marah sighs, "It seems like it wasn't that long ago, it was me you, Bill, me, Tony, Marina, Shayne, Remy, the whole gang."

Eden nods, "I miss the whole Museum Apartment thing. But I guess everyone had to grow up."

Marah nods, "Exactly."

Eden sighs, "I'm sorry about Tony too. I couldn't believe it when I heard about him."

Marah shakes her head, "I hadn't seen Tony since I left town for Europe. But yeah I miss him too."

Eden sighs, "I wasn't sure about going to Remy's funeral. So I told Coop we'd meet up after."

Marah nods, "That's right you are married to Coop. He's hot!"

Eden looks at her, "Well tell me about you. What's been going on with you."

Marah sighs, "Where do I start?"

The bartender hands Marah her drink.

Church:

Reverend Ruthledge looks around.

He looks towards Liz, "Would anyone else like to say anything? Before we end things?"

Phillip sits forward and whispers to Liz, "Please Lizzie. If you don't say something you'll regret it."

Liz turns to Mel.

Mel nods.

Liz puts Clay in her arms.

She walks up and stares at the picture of Remy.

She sighs, "I wasn't the princess. I never thought I would get a night in shining armor to come to my rescue. I didn't think I would ever have that kind of love and passion where you know the person you are with is the love of your life. I love you Remy. And I know you are the love of my life."

Everyone watches her.

She turns to the crowd, "Remy was just like everyone said a hero. If anyone was it was him. Remy was the guy who saw past the walls I put up. He didn't care about my past. He loved me. He helped me remember how to love unconditionally. We may not have been married but we were going to get married. We promised to spend the rest of our lives together. And we promised to give a good life to our son Clay. I just wish we had more time you know? I wish we could have maybe had wedding, another baby. We could have got a house and had a big family. Just like he wanted. Just like we both wanted to have together."

Clayton holds Felicia close.

Mel holds Baby Clay.

Liz sighs, "I'm trying to remember all the things he taught me about forgiveness. Because I am having a really hard time right now."

Phillip worries about her.

Liz clears her throat, "But I will do it for you Remy. I will love our son for the both of us. And I know this isn't the end for us Remy. We will be back together one day. I love you Remy."

Liz blows him a kiss and takes her seat.

Mel puts her arm around her.

The pallbearers walk up and pick up the casket.

Felicia clings to Clayton as she turns her head away.

Beacon:

Blake gets off the elevator.

She walks down the hallway.

She holds a room key.

She stops at the door.

It's the room she had when Remy started working on protecting her.

Blake sighs, "This is where we started."

She puts her keycard in and opens the door.

She looks around the room.

Blake remembers being there 3 1/2 years ago.

It is morning, Blake is in her room, pacing. There is a knock on the door, she lets Remy in, "What took you so long."

Remy walks in, "I was busy. So did you get the phone call again?"

"Yes, this time I could definitely here that creepy breathing on the other end. What kind of sick person would do this?"

Remy sits on her couch, "I don't know, what kind of sick person would stalk their friends, then post everyone's secrets on a website?"

"You think this is about SpringfieldBurns?"

"I don't know maybe. But that would mean that it could be one of your friends."

Blake hands Remy a drink, "Well if you want to be a good security guard, you need to start planning on how you are going to keep me safe."

Blake's eyes fill with tears.

She picks up a pillow and holds it against her chest, "I'm sorry I couldn't keep you safe Remy..."

She looks at the television.

Blake is in her bedroom sleeping, she wakes up to the sound of a TV. She grabs her robe and heads to the living room where she sees Remy watching some action flick, " What do you think you're doing?"

Remy turns around, "Hey Blake! Wanna watch?"

"No I don't wanna watch I was trying to sleep in!"

"Well I got up early and decided to watch a movie."

"Well it's time to stop the movie. Give me the remote."

Remy holds it away from her, "No."

Blake walks over to grab it, he pulls it away. He stands up. The two start wrestling over the remote when they fall onto the couch. Remy is on top of Blake who is staring into Remy's eyes.

Blake falls onto the couch crying.

PART TWO:

Cemetery:

Everyone is walking up for Remy's burial.

Reverend Ruthledge is speaking.

Felicia turns to Clayton, "I can't watch when they put him in the ground. I just can't."

Clayton nods, "I know."

The two turn away.

Mel rest her head on Rick's shoulder, "Nothing is ever going to be the same. He's really gone."

Phillip stands with Liz, "You did a really good job sweetheart."

Liz hands him Clay, "Could you hold him please. I'm going to take a walk."

Phillip looks at her, "Sure. Are you okay?"

She shakes her head, "No. I just need to take a walk."

Liz walks away.

A very concerned Phillip watches her.

Zach then decides to start walking to his car.

Leah follows him, "Are you really leaving before you have to talk to me?"

He sighs, "This is your uncle's funeral. Let's not do this here Leah."

She shakes her head, "I meant what I said. I want that kind of romance Remy and Liz had."

Zach shakes his head, "I can't give you that."

She nods, "Then I'm just going to take it."

Leah kisses Zach.

Towers:

Eden and Marah are talking.

Marah sighs, "So now everyone hates me for dating Edmund. But Shayne is engaged to Ava who is his daughter. Ava who has done all of these horrible things to me."

Eden nods, "The same Ava who made Bill's life hell? And the one who broke Coop's heart? Well it sounds to me like she is a real bitch. That has similar taste in men with me."

Marah smiles, "You have no idea how glad I am to see you back in Springfield Eden."

Eden laughs, "Well I trust your judgement. You are being protective of your family. I'm surprised they are so trusting. I mean I know Olivia and Edmund were actually good people when I was last in Springfield but I still remember all the horror stories about them. I imagine their daughter would be just as wicked."

Marah sighs, "I know! And instead everyone is pointing the finger of blame at me. It's bull."

Eden laughs, "Maybe you should cut back on the drinks."

Marah looks at her, "I'm glad to see you."

Eden laughs, "You said that."

Marah nods, "I don't let people walk all over me anymore Eden. I'm a strong woman who goes after what she wants."

Eden nods, "It sounds like Ava better prepare for you."

Marah grins, "You got that right."

The two women toast.

Cemetery:

Felicia and Clayton stand with Rick and Mel.

Clayton sighs, "We are going to go home now. Your mother needs some rest after today."

Mel nods, "I'll come over later and make you two some dinner. We'll talk more then."

Clayton nods.

Felicia hugs her, "I love you so much my baby. Please don't ever leave me Mel. We love you."

Mel cries as she hugs her Mom.

Felicia hugs Rick.

Mel and Rick watch as her parents walk away.

A few yards away.

Marina is standing with Cyrus, Michelle, Mallet, and Harley.

Michelle looks at her, "So you are really going to leave town?"

Marina nods, "I think it's time. I mean it's not like I'm running away. I'm still going to visit. Cyrus and I just feel like it's time for us to move on you know?"

Cyrus nods, "We are looking for a fresh start."

Harley sighs, "I don't like the idea of you leaving."

Marina nods, "I know. But we are going to California to stay with my folks for a while. Give them some grandparent time with Daniel."

Mallet smiles, "Your parents will love that."

Marina nods, "Yeah. But I'm sure going to miss Springfield."

Over by the cars.

Leah is kissing Zach.

Zach pulls away, "Please don't do this right now."

She shakes her head, "Give me a good reason. Because I'm a couple years younger than you, because I'm not fun enough, because I'm still a virgin, whatever. I know you have no good reason for not wanting to be with me."

Zach sighs, "We wouldn't work out. Besides do you really think you're family will want you with a Spaulding after this?"

Leah sighs, "Shut up Zach."

The two kiss again.

Beacon:

Blake walks into the bathroom.

She starts to run the shower.

Remy starts running the shower in the bathroom. He steps into his room to get undressed.

Blake walks into the bathroom, "Well I guess he thought I'd just forgive him if he ran me a shower. Well it's a start." She takes off her robe and goes in.

Remy come in wearing a towel. He drops his towel and opens the shower door to see Blake.

Blake can't help but stare herself.

Remy stare into Blakes eyes.

Blake takes a step aside.

Remy steps into the shower with her and closes the door.

Suddenly there is a knock on the door.

Blake stops the water and goes to answer it.

Ross is standing there.

Blake goes to close the door.

He stops her, "I heard you had a room here. I wanted to see you."

She shakes her head, "I can't Ross.... God why did you have to come back now? Why now?"

Ross sighs, "Blake we have a lot to talk about. I saw Clarissa."

Blake nods, "Now you're here to berate me for making such horrible decisions as a mother! For screwing up so badly with all my kids! For falling for a guy who's barely older than my son's! For getting involved with Alan Spaulding! Well to late. Remy is dead and now there is nothing else you can say to make me feel any worse."

Blake cries.

Ross walks in and hugs her, "I would never try to make you feel worse Blake. You know that."

Blake cries in Ross's arms.

Boudreau House:

Clayton and Felicia pull up in front of their house and park.

Clayton looks at her, "You okay?"

She sighs, "I'm about to walk into this house. Once I do I will have to start my life without Remy. I don't think I can do this Clayton. I really don't think I can."

Clayton takes her hand, "You're not alone. I'm right here with you Felicia. I love you and we are going to get through this together. I promise you that I will be there for you."

The two get out of the car.

She takes a deep breathe.

The two walk up to the house.

He gets his keys and unlocks the door.

The two walk into their house.

They look around.

Every picture of Remy's, everything he ever touched is now a memory of him and all that is left.

Felicia thinks about all the things she will never get back.

Clayton puts his arm around her.

The two stand there in front of the door.

They hold each other and look around the house.

Cedars:

Natalia turns away from Alan.

He looks at her, "I don't understand. What are you trying to say Natalia? Please..."

She sighs, "You're weak right now Alan. Just please relax for me."

He sighs, "Why wasn't it possible for both of us to survive?"

She wipes tears, "Alan stop. I'm going to get a nurse."

She opens the door.

Alan looks at her, "How did I get this heart Natalia? I wasn't high enough on the list. They said they wouldn't make exceptions no matter how hard I tried. Then this comes out of no where. How?"

Natalia turns and stares at him.

He takes a deep breathe, "Natalia... this is not..."

Natalia nods.

He is confused, "Natalia?"

She cries, "Remy had a feeling he wouldn't make it. So he told Mel that if it could help then he wanted his heart to go to you. He was a match for you Alan. So they gave you his heart."

Alan shakes his head, "No. They wouldn't do that. Not for me."

Natalia cries, "God works in mysterious ways.

A very confused and shocked Alan stares.

His heart beat increases.

Natalia rushes to get doctors.

Cemetery:

Liz stands on the hill.

She watches as people continue to leave.

Liz can hear Remy's voice in her head:

"I'm in love with you. I am completely in love with you. And I know we have had so many problems but I'm done with that. I want it to be like this all the time. I want a future. I want a house, a tire swing, family holidays, all of it. Please, let me grow old with you-"

Her eyes fill with tears.

For the first time all day she lets herself cry.
