Shayne spent childhood without his Mom. Reva suffered a severe case of postpartum depression and drove her car off a bridge and was presumed dead.

He was shocked when she came back from the dead years later!

Shayne and Marah watched they're parents get married a divorce a couple of times but never gave up hope.

Shayne fell in love with Marina Cooper in High School. The two faced a lot, including fighting off her ex boyfriend, but eventually had a happy life while Shayne got ready for his baseball career.

Unfortunatley Shayne's life changed when a car accident (caused by his father) left him paralyzed.

He forgave Josh. Marina and his parents soon helped him to get back on his feet and he was walking again the next year.

The accident changed Shayne's life and he decided to start a mini peace corps in Bosnia! This of course ended his romance with Marina.

Shayne would stay in contact with his sister Marah (who was in Paris for a few years) and his parents who divorced again. His father briefly had a relationship with his Aunt Cassie which didn't sit well with Shayne. His mother battled cancer. And now Marah returned for her ex Jeffrey who is now dating Reva.
