New Head Writer Announced!

The executives behind "General Hospital/Port Charles" announced today that long-time friend and SON member Tishy Smith will join the SONBC Award Nominated Daytime Drama "Port Charles" as the co-head writer.

"We're thrilled to welcome this wonderfully talented woman to our show," said Ryan Chandler. "She's known for telling compelling stories that take characters and viewers on a great emotional ride, and her creative vision promises to continue the show's refocused tradition of cutting-edge storylines. Fans can expect great character driven drama, well thought out storylines and great fallout this coming summer.'"

Ms. Smith previously wrote "The Citizens of Port Charles," a well written, fast paced show that kept viewers glued to their screens. Tishy will first appear in the writing credits next week.
