- Victor falls to his knees next to Caroline's stretcher and begins crying. Vivian and Kate are shocked because they have never seen him like this.

- Abe confides in Marlena and Hope that he always thought he and Lexie would re-unite and be family with Theo eventually...but now that might not ever happen!

- Abby and Max come face to face!

- Shane tells Steve that Kayla will leave him forever if she ever found out his secret.

- Belle faints when she comes face to face with her rescuer - SHAWN DOUGLAS!

- Billie and Jack receive word that Billie's cancer is in remission! Jack and Billie share a tender, emotional moment and almost kiss.

- Max tries to get a devastated Abby to listen to him, but to no avail.

- Billie and Jack pull away from their awkward almost-kiss. But they exit the doctor's office and are shocked to see Caroline wheeled by! Billie runs to find her cell phone and call Bo in London!

- Bo gets a call from Billie who tells him about his mother being hurt. Bo books a flight home immediately, as does Kayla.

- Shane tells Steve that he did not always know Steve's secret. It was a few years after Steve "died" and he (Shane) moved up in the ranks at the I.S.A. that he become privvy to the knowledge.

- Belle awakens and slaps Shawn!

- Abby tells Max that they can't be together.

- Victor realizes that his henchman was indeed responsible for the fire. Caroline fights for her life.

- Marlena and Hope urge Abe to check Lexie into a facility in Chicago, not far from Salem.

- Steve tells Shane that he has been picking up on the fact that he is keeping something big from Kayla but that he has no idea what it is. Steve explains that this subconscious secret is driving a big wedge between him and Kayla already so Steve begs Shane to just tell him!

- Belle slaps Shawn once again and screams at him for taking Claire away from him when he left town months ago. Belle asks Shawn where Claire is. Shawn says she's safe. Belle goes to slap Shawn again. He grabs her hand and pulls her into a sexy and passionate kiss!

- Shane tells Steve to sit down as he prepares to tell him his secret. Steve tells Shane just to spit it out. Shane says that he knows who is responsible for Steve's "death" and his memory loss. Steve demands Shane tell him who! Steve accuses Lawrence. Shane says it is not him. Steve accuses Stefano. Shane says that it is not Stefano either. Steve asks who it could be then. Shane hands Steve a file. The file is labeled "Stephen Earl Johnson." As Steve begins to read up on his life and his history. He speedreads it aloud until he gets to the part he is looking for. He slows down. "Well, this can't be right."....Steve says to Shane. Shane regretfully replies..."I'm afraid it is, Steve. It's true. Every last word." Steve shakes his head. "No. No, it can't be......NO!" Steve throws the file and trashes the room, breaking a mirror. "This doesn't make sense!"....Steve yells. Silence. Shane breaks the silence by saying...."I didn't believe it either, Steve. At first. As I said, I thought you were dead for years like everyone else did. It was when I was promoted to the head of the I.S.A. that I learned the truth....that you were really alive and wondering the States with no memory of who you were. And if you're looking for the man who is responsible for that, Steve.....you're going to have to look in the mirror." Steve has a single tear streaming down his face as he stares into a broken mirror that shatters his face in all the right places, revealing the tear pouring down his face in a kaleidoscope-like image.
