INSIDE THE LIGHT: Spaulding Enterprise, Ex-Wives Club
- Alexandra awakes and makes a vow to herself that she will be successful with the board meeting, no matter what. Before she hands downstairs for breakfast she takes a phone call.
- Alan and Phillip at the breakfast table agree to put their differences regarding Olivia aside today in the name of business and get back Spaulding Enterprises.
- Harley and Blake have coffee at Company and both think about the approaching vote, while Harley recalls her wedding to Phillip as Blake recalls her divorce from Phillip.
- Reva meets Mindy Sue Lewis at the airport and updates her on the stalker case and why her father is not in Springfield. Mindy offers her apologizes for everything that Reva and Josh are going through. Reva says it going to work out and says she has to get Mindy to Spaulding.
- Beth dresses and prepares to leave for the boardroom when Lillian arrives at her door. She offers up some advice to Beth, vote with Alan for the sake of her relationship with Phillip and then everything else will fall into place. Lillian warns her daughter against ruining this and tells Beth that she has done enough damage for a lifetime with her relationship with Bill. Beth says she will do her best.
- The ex-wives, Alan, Phillip and Alexandra arrive at Spaulding Enterprise and Alexandra calls the meeting to order. She says that as per new bylaws written by the new CEO elected today will fulfill a three year contract. She calls for a vote:
- Alexandra Spaulding : Alexandra Spaulding
- Alan Spaulding : Alan Spaulding
- Phillip Spaulding : Alan Spaulding
- Alan-Michael Spaulding, by Proxy : Alexandra Spaulding
- Harley Cooper : Alexandra Spaulding (Lesser of two evils)
- Blake Marler: Alexandra Spaulding
- Beth Raines : Alan Spaulding
- Mindy Sue Lewis : Alan Spaulding
- Inda von Halkein : Alan Spaulding
- Alexandra: 4 ; Alan: 5
- Board Members w/43 Votes: Alan Spaulding: 21 Votes ; Alexandra Spaulding 22
- Alexandra announce a tied between her and Alan at 26 votes each. According to the bylaws the CEO shall be given a second vote and therefore allowed to break the tie. Alexandra votes for herself once more as CEO and the motion carries, Alexandra Spaulding remains CEO of Spaulding Enterprises for the next three years.
