SONBC: Congratulations on being placed back on contract.

BC: Thank you! I'm very excited to be playing more active role in Springfield. Don't you feel the stories being written are very true to the characters history?

SONBC: Of course, it's very reassuring and the feedback is good as well. Let's talk for a moment that all the stories have taken a big step backwards, what are your thoughts on that?

BC: The stories written from March 2003 forward where at times hard to justify. I think this regime of writers realized that and took us back to era that was strong, Gus and Reva's storyline had to be wrapped up but after that it's a whole new world for us.

SONBC: You sound very happy with everything that is going on, could that be because you have a rumored front burning story beginning next week in fact.

BC: I'm thrilled with whatever this regime gives me...so far everyone seems to have amazing work. Maureen (Garrett, Holly) is coming back to the center of the show, Tina Sloan's Lillian is interacting with a whole new town and connections are being established there. This writer writes the women of our series, he writes us strong, independent, flawed...we're all so different and that makes a good canvas.

SONBC: You didn't address your up coming story. Can you at all?

BC: What I can say about it is this: it will be a week long "IN the LIGHT" with my character... (Smiles) People should read and see what this writer has crafted. I have some good scenes with Crystal (Chappell, Olivia) and Marcy (Rylan, Lizzie) who is playing my new daughter...this "ITL" is one that should not be missed!!

• Rick arrives at Outskirts where he finds Phillip waiting on him. Phillip asks how Rick is doing and notes that he didn’t sound very good on the telephone earlier that evening. Rick fills in the missing pieces regarding Roxie that Phillip didn’t already know…he also tells him how Mindy saved him from himself and finally about Mel…
  
  
• At the Bauer house…Mel has fallen asleep on the sofa while watching television and doesn’t hear Ed and Michelle come in from a late dinner. Ed inquires about Michelle and how she’s been feeling lately. Michelle tells her father that she is fine and reassures him that her episode in Washington D.C. was just because she wasn’t getting enough sleep…which she says she needs and head upstairs to bed…leaving Ed alone in the kitchen where he hears a frantic Mel wake from what appeared to be a nightmare…
  
  
• Harley manages to catch up with Gus at the house and asks him how he is feeling. Gus said that he thought for sure Alexandra was his mother and Harley tells him that just because Vera said she was his mother, doesn’t make it so…that there are ways to prove that she is telling the truth. Before Gus can respond Vera arrives…
  
  
• Her plane having been delayed in Oakdale, Lillian is just now arriving back home in Springfield, as a thunderstorm appears to be rolling in. As she is driving from the airport to home, she suddenly realizes she has a flat tire. Lillian soon learns that she has a jack…just not a spare tire when a car stops to help her…
  
  
• With the rain storm setting in Reva and Josh decide to catch a movie, despite Reva worrying about Marah. She asks Josh if she was out of line for slapping her and he assures he she was not and that what Marah said she didn’t mean. Reva says she has let her children down over the years and Marah was right on the money regarding Dylan and Jonathan…Josh tells Reva that Marah is in a difficult place at the moment dealing with Tony’s death and that over time she’ll forgive Reva. She thanks him for being there supporting her through all of this…Josh tells her there is not any other place he would want to be…the couple kiss and later make love!
  
  
• Phillip inquires about what is wrong with Mel and Rick says that she has been acting weird lately. Phillip urges Rick to give her time, let her deal with Roxie on her own terms and for him no to push her. Rick says that he wants to do that but he really wants to start a family with Mel and he’s not sure if she wants that. Phillip suggests that maybe Mel is feeling afraid, with Rick’s heart condition and her being stalked…he suggests Rick let it wait out awhile longer and then suggest the thought to Mel. Rick thanks Phillip for the talk and leaves…
  
  
• At Olivia’s bar in The Beacon, Henry Coleman is enjoying a martini when Blake arrives. She questions, if he has what she asked for…which Henry assures he does and hands over a digital camera with pictures of Ross and Holly at Towers. Blake pays him, drops the camera in her purse and leaves…
  
  
• Vera tells Gus that she has his adoption papers and assures him that everything with the Joe and Angela was legal. She says that his father was a good, honest man…that understood why she did what she did. Vera says that Joe helped her fake her death and that she did all of that to assure that Gus had a good life, which he did. Vera says that her coming here changes his past, not his future. Harley scribbles her telephone number down on a small piece of paper and tells Vera to call them tomorrow, that she and Gus need time to process this information. Vera tells Gus she does want to get to know him better and then leaves, as Harley leads Gus upstairs to bed.
  
  
• Ed gives Mel a warm cup of milk and asks if she wants to talk about it. Mel says that it was just the same dream she has been having for the last couple of nights…as Rick steps into the kitchen, unnoticed…Mel says the dream is the same thing over and over again, Roxie running her down. Ed says that she needs something to take her mind off of everything, Ed suggests that Mel help him plan an old fashion Bauer Christmas, the ones like Maureen used to host…he says it would be good for her, Rick, Michelle and especially him. Mel agrees…as Rick wonders outside if Mel is being distant because of him!
  
  
• Lillian is glad to see that behind the wheel of the car is Billy Lewis. After searching through his car Billy realizes that he doesn’t have a jack either. As the storm sets in Lillian calls triple A and they say it will be an extra 60-90 minutes, Billy suggests that he offer her a ride, but she tells him the triple A operator told her not to leave the vehicle, then much to her surprise Billy says he’ll wait with her…as he climbs into Lillian’s car she splits a candy bar and the two begin talking and laughing!!
  
  
• Blake arrives at Outskirts and orders a shot of Jack Daniels…slams it and takes another one! As the bartender pours it for her, Blake begins cursing aloud, “Son of a bitch…” over and over until Phillip questions if she kisses her children with that mouth. Blake turns to him and displays a devious smile…Blake asks him if she’s changed over the years…that Phillip has known her for a very long time, when she was good and bad…Blake questions why bad things happen. Phillip says that he doesn’t really know and doesn’t really have time to figure it out with her…Blake downs her Jack Daniels and tells him that he’s a son of bitch and a nephew of a bitch as well, but then again if the seed is bad…Phillip says he has no idea what she is talking about and leaves…headed towards Lillian’s house to see Beth…

• Gus having decided to end the looming questions once and for all goes to Spaulding Enterprises where he intends to confront Alexandra! Harley unknown to him has followed, just as Vera Ginatoni [Jill Larson] is arriving at the request of Alexandra.
  
  
• Alexandra is about to leave for the mansion when Gus breaks through the door and announces that this cat and mouse game she has been playing with him all these months end tonight…Gus demands that Alexandra give him the answers he wants!
  
  
• She tells Gus she’ll give him the answers he wants…just as Harley and Vera arrive…and apparently she’ll do it in front of an audience, Alex says as she nods to Vera.
  
  
• Harley warns Alex to stop playing games with Gus…that he does not deserve this…Alexandra assures Harley she’s not playing games and that Gus’ biological mother is standing right before his very eyes…
  
  
• Without missing a beat Vera reveals that she is in fact Gus’ biological mother. Gus becomes furious and screams at Vera that nothing makes sense. He tells her he used to know who he was…where he belonged. Vera assures him that he is Joe and Angela Augustino son. Gus says that is what he used to think and pulls Harley over by his side and declares his undying love for her, but says that he can’t commit to her the way she deserves until he knows the truth…Vera glances over Alexandra’s way and she nods to go ahead.
  
  
• Vera reveals that she was a servant in the Spaulding house when they lived in Chicago and Brandon sent her to bring Alex home when she was running around Europe…Vera says that is when she and Roy Baker had sex…Vera tells Gus that Roy Baker was his father. Harley questions why she gave him up and why the grave…Alexandra explains that Roy began stalking Vera…he beat her once and she feared for the baby’s life, so she helped Vera fake her death and place Gus up for adoption…Vera goes to hug Gus…but he rejects saying that none of this makes sense and he needs time to process…he leaves as Harley warns Alexandra and Vera that if this isn’t the complete truth, they’ll have to deal with her.
  
  
• After they’re both gone Vera takes her money from Alex and asks why she is doing this. Alexandra says that when her children get close to her…they get hurt or she hurts them…much like Gus is hurting now…but assures Vera that over time the hurt will go away and it will only last awhile and not lifetime…Vera leaves and alone in her office, Alexandra Spaulding begins sobbing and breaks down!!

• Shayne is going to The Beacon to meet Tammy for dinner that evening when he spots Marah in her car in the parking lot. He knocks on the window and Marah tells him to go away, but he can see she has been crying and Marah finally lets her brother in…
  
  
  
• Michelle arrives at Company and begins to wait for Holly to arrive. As usual Holly is running late and apologizes she says she had a business meeting at The Beacon and it ran longer than she anticipated. Holly says that Michelle has wanted to talk to her about something all week long and she wants to know what it is…Michelle tells Holly…
  
  
• At Spaulding Enterprises, Alexandra summons Ben to her office where she tells him that she is going to need to speak with Vera Ginatonio and have a check cut to her for an amount she hands him on a small piece of paper. Alexandra tells him as he is leaving that she also will need to speak with Ross Marler as soon as he has a free moment.
  
  
• Shayne asks Marah what is wrong and she tells him that she got into an argument with their parents that resulted in Reva slapping her. Shayne is shocked that Reva slapped and asks Marah what she said to set their mother off. Marah says that she should have known that Shayne would have taken up for Reva. Shayne says that is not fair…because Marah didn’t have any right to yell at Josh or Reva, because Tony’s death is not their fault. Marah tells Shayne to get out of the car…Shayne says that he thinks that maybe Marah is regretting something she’s did to Tony and until she can accept that…she needs to stop punishing everyone around who loves her!
  
  
• Bill arrives at Phillip’s office…Bill says that he came because he has a concern regarding Beth! Phillip asks him what is going on. Bill tells Phillip that he helped Beth out of Towers the other day and she has a gun. Phillip is curious as to why that is a problem…Bill says Beth seemed a little unstable. Phillip says he appreciates Bill coming by, but Beth is not his worry anymore. Bill says he should have expected that from Phillip and leaves.
  
  
• Michelle tells Holly that before she left for Washington D.C. she slept with both Danny and Bill Lewis. Holly is taken aback…Michelle says that in D.C. she fainted and Mike took her to a hospital…Michelle tells Holly she’s pregnant! Holly questions what she is going to do…Michelle says she’s not sure yet, but makes Holly promise that she won’t reveal anything!
  
  
• Rick surprises Mel with a home cooked dinner when she returns from work, but she puts him off saying that she is tired and leaves Rick alone in the kitchen. Upstairs Mel breaks down in tears as she recalls Roxie running over her, causing her to lose the baby!
  
  
• Henry bumps into Ross leaving The Beacon hotel and begins to shadow him!
  
  
• At Lillian’s house…Beth is sleeping when she hears a male voice calling out to her…when she wakes up she see her evil step-father Bradley standing before her…he tells her Phillip will never love her…Bradley tells her if she can’t have Phillip, then no one should! Beth jolts from her sleep in sweat and tears!
  
  
• Marah shows up at the Santos mansion to find Danny unshaven. She asks how long it has been since he’s had a decent meal…Danny tells her it has been too long and asks if she wants to stay. Marah realizing this is the only place she has left to go says she does want to stay.
  
  
• Henry follows Ross to Towers where he goes into a suite…twenty minutes later, Holly wearing a scarf and sunglasses goes inside the same suite as Henry snaps pictures!!!

• Blake meets Harley at The Beacon. Blake asks Harley if the PI is going to show up like he promised her on the phone, Harley assures Blake that he will and that he'll take her case...if Blake brought the money he asked for on the phone earlier. Blake says that she did and the two friends wait. While they wait, Blake voices her fears to Harley and wonders what she'll do if Ross is indeed having an affair with her own mother. Before Harley can reassure Blake that everything will work out, the PI arrives...
  
  
  
• In Oakdale, Illinois...Susan and Lillian go into Memorial before Lillian leaves to head home to Springfield. While walking the halls Susan tries yet again to get Lillian to move to Oakdale and work at Memorial. Susan tells her it would be a benefit to her as well, with Lillian being her AA sponsor and all these days. Lillian says that she can't leave Beth and Lizzie alone in Springfield...no matter how much they push her buttons, both women are laughing and having a good time when they spot across the hall...Kim Hughes!!!
  
  
• Marah returns from home where she finds Josh in the living room waiting on her it seems. Her father inquires as to when Marah plans to move back home and she says that she doesn't know quite yet if she's ready. Josh tells Marah that he knows Tony's death has been hard on her, but she's going to have to find it in her heart to forgive Reva one way or another and move on with her life, much like Danny is trying to do. Marah becomes defensive and says that Danny is not moving forward that he's stuck in neutral feeling guilty and pissed at Reva...which Reva overhears as she is eavesdropping at the top of the staircase.
  
  
• Susan quickly darts into an unoccupied room and Lillian questions if Susan and Kim are having problems again. Susan admits that every time she sees that woman she wants to pick a bottle of Vodka up...and smash it across her head...the women laugh and Susan says she is only kidding and they continue with their walk through the hospital.
  
  
• Olivia and Alan go for a sonogram of the baby...Dr. Sedwick questions if the proud parents want to know the sex of their child and they agree that they do. After a moment Dr. Sedwick congratulation Alan and Olivia...they're having a baby girl!! The couple seems to bond over their first child together!!
  
  
• Josh tells Marah that Danny has decided not to press charges against her Aunt Roxie for her part in Tony's death...which sends Marah into a tailspin!! She's angry and begins lashing out towards her father...Marah asks Josh when he is going to open his eyes and see Reva for what she truly is...just then Reva appears and asks Marah what she thinks she truly is...
  
  
• Marina and Tammy meet Lizzie at Company and the three girls are reunited! Lizzie explains that she is coming home to attend Springfield University in the spring. Marina and Tammy tell Lizzie that they've been accepted this spring as well and Lizzie suggests they should get an on-campus suite together. Later, Marina is talking about her boyfriend Ben, which Lizzie remains quite about having stayed with him when she returned to Springfield...Tammy says no boyfriend, but she did meet a really cute, interesting guy in Minnesota named Derek Bowden...Lizzie recalls her mysterious dance partner the night of the gala and wonders who he is...
  
  
• Harley and Blake meet Mr. Henry Coleman [Trent Dawson]...Harley's PI also from Oakdale. Henry tells Harley to order him a martini allowing him some one on one time with... Blake introduces herself as Ms. Blake Thorpe. With Harley gone, Blake tells Henry that her friend has faith in him to get the job done. Henry assures her for the right price, he'll get the job done. Blake gives him two pictures: one of Ross and the other of Holly. She tells him she wants him to find out if her mother is sleeping with her fiancé. Henry promises Ms. Thorpe he'll get the job done!
  
  
• Marah tells Reva that she's exactly what Roxie called her the night she murdered Tony...a whore, a slut...that she has led Josh on for all these years...Marah tells Reva that she couldn't handle being a mother to her or Shayne, even Dylan and Jonathan that when the going got tough, Reva got going. Reva stands firm listening to Marah vent...but Josh refuses to listen to anymore of it and puts Marah on warning, but she progresses forward...she lashes out at her father telling him that he is no better than Reva, always searching for her...never accepting the fact that whatever Reva touched turned bad...Reva then warns her daughter, but Marah tells Josh he's not any better a parent to her and Shayne than Reva is...then all hell breaks lose...
  
  
• Lillian is about to leave to catch her plane to Springfield, when her and Susan bump into Dr. Braxton O'Dell [Jason Shane Scott]. Susan introduces him as a new intern working with her...Susan tells Braxton that Lillian is from Springfield and he recalls having met a young woman named Michelle Santos on the plane ride to Oakdale. Lillian informs him she knows Michelle and shakes his hand...and when she does a chill runs down her neck and she pulls away, saying she really must be getting to the airport.
  
  
• Reva grabs Marah by the shoulders and slaps her daughter across the face as tears swell in her eyes. She tells Marah that she knows she's grieving, that she knows she has made mistakes in her life and that she ran away when she couldn't handle those mistakes and that if Marah wants to yell and scream at her then she do it...at her. Reva says that is enough and she will not allow Marah to talk to her father that way any longer and show him such disrespect when he's done nothing but cared for her, her entire life. Marah stands stunned that Reva slapped her as she begins to cry...Reva tells her not to cry, that what just happened she asked for. Marah tells her mother to go to hell and storms out of the Lewis home!!

• Marah leaves The Beacon the morning after Tony’s memorial service and heads over to the Santos mansion, with clear-cut intentions. However once she arrives she finds the mansion completely empty and begins to wonder around…first through the living room where she finds the bar nearly empty and she flashes back to Thanksgiving…the kiss that Marah and Danny shared…followed by Marah stopping herself.
  
  
• Lillian Raines arrives back in Oakdale, Illinois and drives from the airport to Java…where she meets up with her longtime friend, Dr. Susan Stewart!
  
  
• Blake meets Harley and Cassie at Company and tells the women about her suspensions about her mother and Ross. Harley asks Blake if she really thinks Holly would be sleeping with Ross and Blake says that she doesn’t want to believe it, but thinks turn about is fair play. Cassie asks what information Blake has to back up her suspensions and Blake tells her what she know so far…
  
  
• Ed is running rounds at Cedars when he bumps into Mel who is doing the same. Ed inquires as to how Mel is feeling and she assures him she is fine…but after he leaves she rubs her stomach and begins to cry.
  
  
• Reva and Josh are at the police station finishing some paperwork with Frank regarding Roxie’s transfer back to Oklahoma. Reva says that her, Hawk and Johnny have found a more secure hospital…Frank says that Danny hasn’t decided whether or not to press charges against Roxie, just as he is arriving.
  
  
• Marah is in Tony’s bedroom…sitting on his bed thinking about them together, during their happier times. She is overcome with emotions as she begins looking through his closet…she is overcome with grief and she leaves, running past Danny’s bedroom where she woke up the morning of the memorial service. Marah flashes back…she remembers Danny carrying her there…laying her on the bed…she took her clothes off and came on to him…but her refused her…
  
  
• Danny explains that he’s thought about what Tony would want…and that he would not want Marah’s aunt to be in jail and that Tony died doing what he promised Marah and Josh he would do, protect Reva. Danny tells Frank that he does not want to press charges.
  
  
• Lillian and Susan talk about their respective lives…Susan tells her about Alison and Aaron in Seattle…Hal’s death and Emily’s decent into madness. Lillian sympathizes with Susan and informs her about her own woes with Beth. Susan tells her that is enough about that and surprises her with a dinner invitation for the two of them with Dr. John Dixon.
  
  
• Harley tells Blake that she should hire a private investigator to track Ross, but Blake says that seems so underhanded and sneaky, to which Harley reminds her she is Roger’s daughter. Harley tells Blake that her PI is one she trusts, even though he’s loud and full of himself he does get the job done. Harley gives her the card and jets off.
  
  
• Danny returns to the mansion to find Marah waiting for him…Marah questions why he didn’t tell her that nothing happened between them. Danny says it didn’t matter, but Marah assures him that it did. Danny asks her to leave so he can be alone, which she agrees…before she goes, she tells Danny that she blames Reva for Tony’s death and that she is moving out of the house, unaware of what Danny has just done!

Blake: Something is going on with them Cassie...and I'm going to find out exactly what it is.

Blake: Harley tells me you're the best...here's hoping...

ANNOUNCER: The answers...will destroy lives...

Blake: Do you have what I asked for?

ANNOUNCER: The truth is on the verge of exploding...

Gus: I used to know who I was. I used to belong, but not anymore...

ANNOUNCER:...the answers Gus is looking for...

Gus: Please Vera, tell me what you know.

• Marah wakes up in the Santos mansion…in her bra & panties. As she dresses she tries to recall what happened the night Thanksgiving. As she pulls her hair back into a ponytail she has a flashback of her and Danny kissing and then back to reality as she leaves the room.
  
  
• Blake returns from taking the kids to school and finds Ross in the kitchen, sneaking a piece of leftover pie. She tells him that she is going to get ready for the service and Ross tells her that he won’t be going. Blake flies off the handle and asks Ross, just exactly what he’ll be doing, and Ross tells her he’ll be doing work related errands.
  
  
• Beth and Phillip are stunned when Lizzie tells them that she’s managed to work ahead of schedule and graduate early. Beth tells Lizzie that she’ll move into Towers with her, until the three of them can find another place. Phillip pulls Beth aside and tells her she is acting like a child and asks her to move back into the mansion…Lizzie begs her mother, but Beth declines, however she’ll allow Lizzie to move into the mansion if she wants.
  
  
• Holly surprises Michelle when she arrives at the Bauer house. Michelle thanks Holly for stopping by before the service and that it is going to mean a lot to her that Holly is there today. Holly however informs Michelle that she’s been called into an important meeting at Springfield University. Michelle tells Holly she understands, but insists that the two of them have dinner afterwards. Holly agrees.
  
  
• Harley and Gus sit down to breakfast the next morning and she questions how sure he is about Alexandra being his mother. Gus confesses that he lied about Roy Baker didn’t leave him any clues. Harley asks him why he did that and Gus tells her that he wanted to learn the truth on his own, which he did. Gus shows her the safety deposit box and they start going through the things…
  
  
• Beth decides that living in a Towers suite is not helping her regain control of her life, like she had originally anticipated after her split with Bill. Beth is packing up her belongings when she runs across a copy of “The Journal” that has Alan and Olivia’s picture on the front page and the announcement of their baby. She tosses the paper in the trash can and begins cleaning out a dresser drawer, when she finds a small black pistol, in the very bottom.
  
  
• After reading the journals and all the content of the safety deposit box, Gus asks Harley what she thinks, but the time for Tony’s service is getting closer and Harley tells Gus that she wants him to think about this some more and then go talk to Alexandra!
  
  
• Holly and Michelle call the family together and alone in the kitchen Holly says this reminds her of past dinners she and Maureen hosted. Michelle smiles and tells Holly that she’s considered her a surrogate mother for many years…and something that has been weighing on her mind lately…Blake arrives ending conversation and Holly promises Michelle they’ll talk more later.
  
  
• Lillian arrives at Company and Buzz tells her that a lady has been asking for her. Buzz points her in the corner and Lillian is surprised to see her travel agent at a table, waiting for her.
  
  
• Beth is leaving Towers carrying several boxes when she meets Bill in the elevator. He offers to help her and Beth finally gives in. Beth tells Bill that she’s moving back in with Lillian.
  
  
• Blake decides not to go to Tony’s memorial service and follows Ross to Springfield University where he is supposed to be having an interview. She watches from afar and witnesses Ross arriving and then later…Holly! Blake decides this, whatever it is has to end!
  
  
• After the travel agent is gone, Buzz goes and sits down with Lillian. She asks why he's not at the ball and he tells her that someone has to run Company. He asks Lillian if she is planning a trip when he notices her plane tickets...Lillian reveals she's going to see a friend in OAKDALE!!
  
  
• Beth and Bill arrive at Lillian’s house and he’s carrying one of the boxes for her when he stumbles and drops a box. Beth quickly works to pick everything up, but Bill finds the gun and questions why Beth even has it. Beth tells Bill that she has it for her own reasons and tells him that he’s helped enough and that he can leave!
  
  
• Citizens of Springfield arrive the church to mourn Tony…including his brother Father Ray, who has been transferred to a Catholic church in Chicago. Marah tells Ray how very sorry she is, as her and Danny come face-to-face with one another for the first time since they kissed. Danny tells Marah he doesn’t want this to be weird or strange for her, but they will have to talk about it sooner or later. Marah sees Tony’s casket and decides that it will be much later…as she then takes a seat for the service to begin.

• Thanksgiving day has arrived in Springfield…as Reva, Cassie, Holly, Harley, Michelle and a mysterious woman prepares to host dinners of their very own.
  
  
• Reva comes downstairs and tells Joshua that Jonathan arrived in San Cristobel safe and sound. Reva also tells her husband that she talked with Dylan and that Hawk is on his way to Springfield with Rusty. Josh says they should head out to The Beacon, but Reva is gazing at pictures on the fireplace, she takes a picture of Marah and Reva says they need to make one stop.
  
  
• Holly and Michelle are in the Bauer kitchen cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Holly thanks Michelle for agreeing to help her today and Michelle tells her she was thrilled when Holly asked her. Michelle is about to ask Holly for advice when…Rick arrives with Ed in tow!!!
  
  
• Josh tells Reva that he thinks this is a bad idea, but Reva assures him that this is something that has to be done. An officer opens Roxie’s cell door and Reva goes in to see her sister. Roxie is setting in a corner of the cell and doesn’t acknowledge that Reva is there. Reva tells her sister that she done some very bad things, she continues and tells Roxie that she had no right to do what she did, sick or not. Roxie looks over and tells Reva that she killed Johnny and deserved it. Reva says because they’re sisters, she’ll hold no hard feelings towards Roxie, but she will never forgive her for the pain Roxie has caused her daughter!
  
  
• Marah thanks Cassie for letting her stay with her with last night…Cassie says anytime and hands her a cup of coffee. Marah says she wants to Cassie a question, she asks her aunt how she was able to forgive Reva for what she done, to Richard. Cassie reasons with her niece that she cannot feel like that, what Reva did was in the best interest of Richard. Cassie tells Marah, that Reva had no control of Roxie’s actions and she cannot blame her mother for Tony’s death. Marah says that she does and goes off to dress for dinner.
  
  
• Blake begins to have second thoughts about Thanksgiving at the Bauer house. When Ross sneaks up behind her…Blake shivers and Ross asks what that was and Blake makes a quick excuse, as she flashes back to the lunch she saw Ross having with her mother. Blake decides to confront Ross…but he surprises her with a diamond necklace and her professes his love for her!
  
  
• Josh and Reva arrive at The Beacon, where Cassie has setup a beautiful spread…everyone gathers: Cassie, Billy, Shayne, Hawk, Rusty, Tammy, RJ and Marah for dinner. Cassie pulls Marah aside and tells her not to make a scene today. The family all sit down for dinner as Josh prepares to make a toast, but Marah stands up and declares, she wants to tell everyone what she’s not thankful for. “All my life…I’ve been shadowed with being Reva Shayne Lewis’ daughter. Some times it was a blessing, more often times it wasn’t…” Joshua warns Marah to stop now and Reva tells him to let her speak… “Tony is dead and it’s because of your actions. You set this into motion. I blame you Mother for this...I blame you for most of the bad things that have happened in my life." Josh slams his fist on the table and tells Marah that is enough…she agrees that it is and throws her napkin on the table and leaves!!
  
  
• Holly and Michelle call the family together and alone in the kitchen Holly says this reminds her of past dinners she and Maureen hosted. Michelle smiles and tells Holly that she’s considered her a surrogate mother for many years…and something that has been weighing on her mind lately…Blake arrives ending conversation and Holly promises Michelle they’ll talk more later.
  
  
• Marah arrives at the Santos mansion with a frozen pizza and case of beer. She finds Danny alone in the study and tells him that she figured he would be alone. Danny asks her to leave, but Marah says she cannot do that, because the people who loved Tony should be together, today especially. Marah says she is so very sorry for Danny’s loss…she says that she is going to put the pizza in the oven and the two of them are going to reminisce about Tony!
  
  
• With Company closed for the holiday, the Cooper family gathers together to celebrate. Marina tells Ben that Gus hasn’t told Harley about his trip to Chicago or what he was doing there. Ben says then by all means Marina should tell Harley.
  
  
• One by one the Spaulding family begins to enter the Towers dining room. They all question who it was that brought them here, when Lizzie reveals herself, stunning everyone. She says that the family has been out of touch with one another for far to long and that stops today…if only for today. Lizzie tells everyone that will sit, eat and be polite. Which they do, as Beth keeps a longing eye on Olivia!
  
  
• Thanksgiving dinner is served at the Bauer home, as Ed says grace over the dinner and thanks God for his healthy, happy family!
  
  
• Marina goes and begins talking to Harley…she is about to tell her what she saw in Chicago, but Gus arrives and Marina is stopped. Ben asks what happened and Marina tells him that Gus arrived and she thinks he’s about to tell Harley the truth about what happened. Meanwhile, inside the kitchen, Gus tells Harley that after dinner he wants to show her what he’s found…Harley asks him to tell her now and he agrees…Gus tells Harley that he believes his mother is….ALEXANDRA SPAUDLING!
  
  
• With half the pizza ate…and only a few beers left…Marah and Danny are talking about Tony, when he reaches over and kisses her!!

• At the police station, Reva and Josh arrive to find Rick waiting on them there. Reva hugs Rick and asks how Mel is doing. Rick says that she's getting better, that Michelle is with her now and Reva apologizes for Roxie's actions. Rick assures Reva that what Roxie has done is not her fault, just as Frank is arriving, he tells them that Roxie's about to be questioned.
  
  
• Reva, Josh and Rick settle in to listen as Roxie explains why she came to Springfield and stalked both Reva and Mel. Roxie begins that the love of her life, Johnny Bauer…Rick tells Josh and Reva that is his second cousin. Roxie goes on to explain that she and Johnny married in 1998, but in September 2001 he was diagnosed with testicular cancer…and that he died July 11th.
  
  
• Reva suddenly realizes that is the same day that she withdrew Richard’s life support as Roxie makes a stunning claim: “She killed him. That slut, she was jealous of what Johnny and I had…she murdered him and got away with it.” Roxanne continues to say that Johnny was in perfect health until Reva came in and pulled his life support. Rick is stunned and says that he has to talk to Frank…
  
  
• Frank leaves Roxie alone in the interrogation room and Rick reveals to him that Roxie’s story does not add up…that Johnny isn’t dead, he never had cancer…Rick says that he does still live in Tulsa and that he did marry Roxie…but the rest is all made up. Frank orders a deputy to put the call into the sanitarium and then goes back into question Roxie.
  
  
• In the interrogation room Roxanne explains no matter what she did growing up that Reva always had the attention of her mother Sarah and men. Roxie says that Reva knew how much she loved Johnny and Reva took him away from her. Frank questions why Roxanne would go after Mel and Roxanne explains that after she lost Johnny she realized the only other man she would love was her second love, Rick Bauer and she never thought Mel deserved to be with him.
  
  
• Frank leaves Roxanne and encourages Reva not to see her sister and makes a few phone calls. He soon learns that Roxanne escaped her sanitarium home, leaving Tulsa and in fact a very much alive Johnny back in Tulsa. Reva says she is glad that this is over and she does not want to press charges against Roxanne. Frank agrees, but says that it will be up to Doris Wolfe if charges are pressed against Roxanne for her role in Tony’s death. Frank explains that Roxie will be transported back to Tulsa, after the holiday.
  
  
• Rick returns to the hospital, where Mel is being released...he sets her down and tells her that Frank knows who was responsible for stalking her. Rick tells his wife about his past with Roxie Bauer and how his cousin is now married to her and how she came to get revenge on Reva and her...Mel is devestated and asks Rick where she is now. Rick tells her that Roxie is going back to Oklahoma, Rick says that he's just glad that she didn't do anymore damage than she did and takes Mel in his arms, as Mel has a flashback to learning she was pregnant and Lillian revealing that she miscarried the baby.
  
  
• Reva and Josh arrive home to find Cassie, Billy, Marah, Shayne and Tammy waiting on them. Marah says she knows that something is going on, because Billy wouldn't let her read the paper or watch TV, Marah demands to know what happened: Reva breaks the news to Marah and everyone that her stalker was in fact, their aunt Roxie...Reva's sister. Cassie says that her and Reva hosted a benefit in Richard's memory and Roxie showed up. Reva then tells Marah that Tony...protected her in more ways than she ever imagined. Reva tells Marah that Roxie shot at her and Tony took the bullet and died. Marah is devestated and storms off....as Shayne rushes after her.
  
  
• Shayne stops Marah before she drives off, he grabs her and she breaks down in his arms. Marah says this isn't fair, that she and Tony fought before she left for Minnesota. Shayne tells her that no one, but Roxie is to blame for Tony's death. Marah says she refuses to believe that, she says that Reva brought this upon herself...Marah says that she blames Reva for this...and she'll find it very hard to forgive her. Shayne holds Marah as she mourns Tony.

• Cassie arrives at the airport and awaits the return of Shayne, Marah and Tammy. Outside in the terminal, Cassie assures all three of them that the police have Reva's stalker, locked up and behind bars. Shayne questions who it was and Cassie tells the three of them that Reva and Josh want to talk to all of them together. Billy arrives from getting the luggage and hugs Cassie, in her ear he whispers they need to go, Tony's death has made the front page of the newspaper! They all leave!!
  
  
• At the police station, Reva and Josh arrive to find Rick waiting on them there. Reva hugs Rick and asks how Mel is doing. Rick says that she's getting better, that Michelle is with her now and Reva apologizes for Roxie's actions. Rick assures Reva that what Roxie has done is not her fault, just as Frank is arriving, he tells them that Roxie's about to be questioned.
  
  
• At Company, Harley is planning the Thanksgiving menu with Buzz when Gus arrives. She asks how is conference in Chicago was and he tells her very informative. Marina overhears Gus talking about the conference as Ben walks up behind her. She tells Ben that when the two of them were in Chicago she saw Gus with another woman, Marina says that Harley has to know the truth.
  
  
• At Spaulding Enterprise Alexandra is settling into her office as CEO when a messenger arrives with a sealed envelope. Alan is in his office when the messenger drops off his envelope. Phillip is at the Spaulding mansion with Zach and James when he recieves his...Olivia at The Beacon...Beth in her suite at Towers and Lillian at Cedars. The envelope contains an invitation, "You are requested to attend a Spaulding Thanksgiving dinner at Towers."
  
  
• Ben stops Marina from barging over and telling Harley her verision of the truth. Marina says that Gus shouldn't be allowed to getaway with this and Ben says to her that she is right, but Marina should give Gus the chance to come clean on his own. Marina finally agrees and tells Ben he has until Thanksgiving dinner or she'll spill the beans!
  
  
• Michelle is leaving Mel's room when she runs into Lillian, who is thrilled that she is back home. Lillian asks if Ed has also returned and Michelle tells her that he hasn't, that she was called home early because of Mel's accident. Lillian tells her it was a good thing, because Danny could use the company of someone who loves him right now. Michelle isn't aware of what is going on and Lillian breaks the news to her that Tony died the night before...Michelle tells Lillian to keep Mel company and rushes off to find Danny.
  
  
• Rick explains that someone hit her with a car and the doctors put her into a drug related coma so that her body could heal, which apparently it has done. Mel places her hand over her stomach and says she saw the woman who hit her...as Harley arrives with a picture of Roxie Shayne.
  
  
• Michelle arrives at the Santos mansion where she finds Danny in a chair with a bottle of scotch in one hand and an empty glass in the other. She takes the bottle away from him and questions if this is how he is going to spend his time from now on? Danny says that he wants her to leave, but Michelle refuses to go. Danny says that she left him a very long time ago and just because something bad in his life has happened, does not give her a reason to come back into the picture. Danny jerks the bottle away from her, as she starts to cry...seeing the hurt in his eyes...she begins to cry and says that she's so sorry for his loss. Michelle leaves and watches Danny from afar, in tears...she opens her cell phone and calls her daddy, asking him to come home...soon.

SONBC: First let's discuss what is on the mind of all your fans, you leaving "All My Children" after two Emmy awards and over 30 years of dedication. What transpired?

JB:I first and foremost have no regrets and nothing but good things to say about "AMC", however, when I was offered recurring status, I felt that I deserved better than that. There are no hard feelings towards anyone at "AMC" it was a wonderful place to call home and I'll miss it very much.

SONBC: So full of class, dignity and grace. Can you at all talk about how you're character, Brooke will leave the Pine Valley scene?

JB: Because I am still considered to be under contract with ABC and AMC I'm afraid that I cannot address how Brooke will be leaving the canvas, what I can talk about however is my upcoming role on "The Light" as a key player in one of Springfield's most historical families.

SONBC: Nice segway, so yes let's talk about your new character, Hope Bauer Spaulding. Very historical role, Ed's niece, Alan's ex-wife, Alan-Michael's mother so many great connections. How did the character come about?

JB: Well when I decided to not renew my contract word got out there and "The Light" brought me in without an audition, pitched a story and signed me within days. I'm looking forward to playing Hope, she is such a far cry from what Brooke was lately....and by that I mean active and involved in front burning stories.

SONBC: So you did sign a contract?

JB: Of course! With I might add the promise of a story following my introduction one that begins later this winter. I'll be interacting with entire Bauer clan, Alexandra, Alan and so many wonderful others. I am truly looking forwards to working with this crew.

SONBC: Hope Bauer is a complex character, who has been away from Springfield for a very long time, what brings her back?

JB: Hope is an amazing character and she returns when Ed calls her when Springfield recieves some disturbing news about Alan-Michael...all that I can really say is that my first two scene partners, Ron Raines and Peter Simon both feel the full force of Hope.

Look for Julia Barr to debut as Hope Bauer Santos later this year.

STILLWATER, OK - Next week on "THE LIGHT" news of Tony's death devestates Thanksgiving celebrations across town.

Episode 014 reveals that the person who took Roxie's bullet in the previous episode was none other than Tony Santos, Marah's hot tempered boyfriend. "The decision to kill of Tony was complete story related." Shares head writer/executive producer Josh Hawkins. Jordi Vilasuso leaving was a mutual agreement between "The Light" executives and Vilasuso, "Leaving was a difficult decision, but it was one that I needed to make and I have no regrets." Shared the actor who last aired during Episode 014 as he was carted off to Cedars hospital.

"Things carry on like business as usual onscreen and backstage," shared Hawkins who confirms that Marah [Alexa Havins] returns in Episode 015 and learns of Tony's death. "This opens up so much story potential for Marah and Reva." The scribe confirms, "Marah will over the course of the next few weeks be diving into her feelings about Reva leaving her and Shayne all those years ago." Smiles the scribe.

- Christie Clark arrives in Springfield on Monday, November 20 and comes face to face with Danny! "I'm really attempting to bring Michelle around to a character that is so dislike." Shares the scribe, "Michelle should embody the characteristics of her mother Maureen, hopefully I'll be able to do that."

- As reported in the feature story, Jordi Vilasuso has left "The Light" effective immediately. "Vilasuso departing has opened the door for other characters to come in, including the above mentioned." Said executive producer Hawkins.

• The Beacon is secured as everyone reacts to the shooting...Cassie and Josh seem to be fine, but as Reva is standing she sees blood all over her white gown and screams out when she sees...
  
  
• Rick arrives back at the hospital and goes to see Mel. He tells Mel that he needs her to come back to him, now more than ever because he almost done something that would have sent their lives into a downward spiral...Rick begin to tear up and begs her to come back to him...
  
  
• Reva screams out as she sees Tony bleeding and calls out for a doctor and paramedics rushes towards his cousin!!
  
  
• Shayne decides that he is tired of being stuck in the house with everyone and tells Marah he is going to a local bookstore or something. Once there he runs into a guy his own age named Derek Bowden [Matt Lanter]. The two seem to hit it off and Shayne tells Derek that he is visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Derek says he got stuck in Minneapolis because of delayed flights and that he is on his way home to New York City for Thanksgiving. The guys talk...end up having coffee and Shayne leaves.
  
  
• Reva is sobbing at Tony's side and begs him to fight this...she is weeping when the paramedics pushes her aside to see his son, Reva is crying beyond control as Josh takes her in his arms, she finally composes herself and then locks eyes with Roxie and charges after, "What have you done? Why?" Reva asks.
  
  
• At Cedars, Rick is holding Mel's hand as she begins to wake from her coma, asking what happened!!
  
  
• Cassie says that she has to find Danny and Frank tells her that they are going to take Tony to Cedars and that she should find Danny and tell him what happened. Cassie says she will, but asks what is going to happen with Roxie and Franks says that they will put her in jail tonight and deal with her the next day.
  
  
• Rick explains that someone hit her with a car and the doctors put her into a drug related coma so that her body could heal, which apparently it has done. Mel places her hand over her stomach and says she saw the woman who hit her...as Harley arrives with a picture of Roxie Shayne.
  
  
• Danny and Cassie arrive at Cedars just as Tony is arriving in the ambulance...doctors work to stablize him as Danny waits outside...
  
  
• In Washington D.C. Michelle [The role of Michelle Bauer Santos is now being played by Christie Clark] boards the plane and sits down next to a very handsome man her age. She asks where he is headed to and he says that he is going to Oakdale, Illinios. The man introduces himself, Dr. Braxton O'Dell [Jason Campbell]. Michelle says that she grew near Oakdale...the two continue talking throughout the flight, which would connect in Atlanta, Georgia.
  
  
• Reva and Josh arrive at Cedars where they tell Danny and Cassie that Frank has Roxie in custody and that they will question her tomorrow. Reva says that Roxie is her sister and was responsible for stalking her, just as Harley shows the picture to Mel and she identifies her as the woman who ran her over. Rick is stunned to see Roxie after all these years, but does not tell Mel his connection to her.
  
  
• Reva apologizes to Danny and he says that it wasn't her fault and is almost ready to forgive her when a doctor comes out and breaks the news to Danny, that TONY HAS DIED!!!!

• Having been asked by Josh to keep an eye on Cassie and Reva...Tony offer his arm to escort Reva on the stage, which she gladly takes. Cassie introduces the Chairwoman of Prince Richard Winslow Foundation, her sister, Mrs. Reva Shayne Lewis...as Judith takes a place in the back of the room.
  
  
• In Chicago, Gus examines the picture and wonders who the woman in the picture could actually be. He decides to then open the journal and begin to read:
  
  

  "Locke and I have traveled all over this God forsaken countryside, one village to the next. Him picking that damn guitar or cuddled up with that girl he found a few months ago."

  
  
  

  "Stupid-son-of-a-bitch, that cousin of mine. He spent all the gas money on some damn emerald bracelet that Alexandra kept eyeing today. Maybe tomorrow I’ll eye the gas pump or a loaf of bread, maybe the SOB will buy it for me."

  
  
  
• Back in Springfield...Rick finds himself at Outskirts...where he orders a shot of strong whiskey...the bartender pours him the drink as a woman approaches from behind questioning if Rick really wants to take that drink...
  
  
• Reva addresses the crowd about what a truly wonderful man Richard and that along with his widow and her husband, Joshua a scholarship foundation shall be sat up in conjuction with the building of "The Prince Richard Winslow Memorial Library" in San Cristobel...as the crowd applauses, Judith reaches into her hand bag, clutches a gun and whispers, "This is for you Johnny."
  
  
• Alexandra tells Vera [Played by Jill Larson] that she has a contact at bank in Chicago and that Roy Baker had a safety deposit box there. Vera asks if the secret is out and Alexandra tells her it is not...yet. Vera assures her that she'll do whatever it is to help Alex protect her sercret. Alexandra thanks her and hands her an envelope and says that a suite has been reserved at Towers under Vera's name!
  
  
• Gus continues to read Roy Baker's journal:
  

  “Worse possible thing happened today, Alex found out the truth about Locke, said if she wanted a man with money and power like her daddy, she would have stayed in Chicago. That Alexandra is sure a pistol of fire, I tell you what. Locke stormed off to parts unknown for almost two days…he can’t ever find out what went down while he was gone, I really think he loved that girl.”

  
  
  

  "Alexandra finally left. Her friend from Chicago, Gina she called her came and convinced her to come home. Well that’s the end of that, sure good while it lasted.”

  The last entry dated nine months prior to Gus' birth.
  
  
• Vera arrives at Towers and says her name is Vera Ginatonio
  
  
• Mindy asks Rick again if he really wants to take that drink and he says that it seems like the right thing to do. Mindy tells him to go ahead, drink it...then another, then another and another. Rick asks what she is doing and Mindy says that when Mel wakes up from her coma, she'll want Rick...he has to decide where he wants to be when that happens, by her bedside or slumped over some bar drunk. Rick doesn't say anything and Mindy says that she doesn't want Rick to go down the same path Ed went down...she tells him to make his choice, kisses his cheek and leaves. Rick is left to wonder if he should take the drink or not.
  
  
• Gus decides that it's time to go home to Springfield and find more answers there...while packing up the safety deposit box another picture falls out of Roy's journal with writing on the back: "Roy and Alexandra, February 1970."
  
  
• Mindy recieves a telephone call from her secretary in Paris. She copies the number down and hangs up. Mindy dials the number and Michelle Bauer Santos answers...
  
  
• The applause at The Beacon dies down and suddenly everyone hears from the back of the room, "I baptize myself the slut of Springfield. Nothing but a common whore, a slut, a gold digging murdering jezebel. Isn’t that right Reva? Joshua? Cassie?" The entire party turns toward the woman as she pulls out a gun...Reva is frozen in the moment and whispers, "Roxanne", Cassie is pushed to the ground by an officer, Josh rushes towards Reva...as the gun is fired...police officers take Roxanne down, as Reva is also pushed to the ground, by someone other than a Springfield officer!

• Rick picks up the Get Well card left by Judith and begins to open it...
  
  
• The ball seems to be going off successfully so far. Frank however tells Josh that he is keeping Cassie and Reva secluded away so they can make their grand entrance together, in hopes of luring Reva's stalker out. Josh says that is if the stalker is even really here...as Frank goes to check on the women, Josh grabs Tony and pulls him aside.
  
  
• Alexandra welcomes Vera to the Spaulding mansion. Vera says that she is surprised that Alex isn't off at the big fancy party, living it up. Alexandra tells her that she has more to worry about than that, she tells Vera that the secret she has worked to hide for over thirty years is about to break...Vera asks what Alex wants her to do. Alexandra says she's glad that she's asked and slams the bracelet down on the table!
  
  
• Before Frank arrives, Cassie and Reva are alone. Cassie reassures her sister that everything is going to be all right and that nothing bad is going to happen. Just then a knock is heard and an usher from the party delivers a note to Cassie, addressed to Reva...
  
  
• At the same time, Rick is opening the "Get Well" card for Mel...Both he and Reva read the same thing at the same time, "“Tonight is the night you both pay for your sins.” Rick begins to worry and calls Lillian into Mel's room...she says she doesn't know what is going on and Rick tells her to call Harley.
  
  
• At the ball, Marina stops Harley and tells her that she has to tell her something. Harley however is taken away by Lillian's call and she rushes off to find Frank!
  
  
• Reva is shaken by the note and feels uneasy about going through with the ball, but Cassie convinces her that it has to be done, just as Frank arrives. Cassie shows Frank the note and he says that most likely Reva's stalker is here, just as Harley enters with news about Rick's note...both are shocked to learn they are the same and Harley races off to Cedars, questioning where Gus is at.
  
  
• Lizzie enters the ball, her true identity complete disguised. She is asked to dance by a man who is also in complete costume. The two don't speak, just dance and afterwards, Lizzie is left speechless!
  
  
• Harley arrives at Cedars just as Frank phones her to tell her that he believes Reva's stalker has also been targeting Mel, because of the hit-and-run and now the note. Frank tells Harley that he's sending over uniforms to watch Mel's room, because he believes the stalker is at The Beacon. Before she leaves, Harley informs Rick of what is going on and he is in shock!
  
  
• Gus opens the safety deposit box and begins going through the contents of it: A picture of a very young Roy Baker with a man named “Locke” dated one year prior to Gus’ birth ; Another picture of a man and woman, written on the back of the photograph is Locke & Girlfriend ; Roy Baker's journal ; newspaper clippings about Brandon Spaulding and the founding of Spaulding Enterprises and in the very bottom of the box he finds a picture with writing on the back... "Alexandra Spaulding: Chicago Debutante of the Year.
  
  
• Against her better judgement Reva prepares to take the stage and Rick questions what in the hell is goin on.....

STILLWATER, OK - Next week on "THE LIGHT" lives explode as November sweeps continue!

With Mel's life hanging in the balance and the mysterious Judith lurking around Springfield, Rick goes in search of some companionship: Bauer style.

"It makes since for Rick to turn to the bottle, seeing as his father Ed was an alocholic Rick thinks that would solve all his probelms." Says head-writer Josh Hawkins. That however is not the answer and Rick realizes that sooner rather that later which is a good thing for him. "The Light" has invited Krista Tesreau to remain with the series as a regular guest star. "I love the character of Mindy but there is no room on my canvas at this time to have as a regular, contract player." Says Hawkins, "But we will be using her from time to time as a story would require."

Which will be next week as Rick tempts the bottle, look for Tesreau to appear in Episode 012.

- Christie Clark debuts as Michelle Bauer Santos earlier than expected. Clark who is best known for her role as Carrie Brady on 'DAYS OF OUR LIVES' will begin airing sometime in the coming week. It was originally planned that Michelle make her return on November 20th, however a storyline change has pushed her return to Springfield up.

- Jill Larson will begin a very short term role as Vera. The character will be interacting with Alexandra and play a role in Gus' search for his true paternity. Originally Louise Sorel (ex-Vivian, DAYS) was tapped for the role but scheduling conflict prevented her from airing. Larson who is on recurring status at 'ALL MY CHILDREN' begins airing in Episode 012.

- As reported above, Krista Tesreau (Mindy) will remain with the show in a recurring role, however she leaves for Paris next week. "Mindy will return later this month and in December for the holiday season."

• Mel has now been in her drug induced coma for two days. Rick is keeping a vigil at her bedside, when Lillian arrives. Out in the waiting room Judith arrives and spies on them.
  
  
• With Gus still in Chicago, Harley is forced to go on without her partner during the ball. As she is going into Reva and Josh's house, she checks the mailbox for that days mail, which has become a precaution the Springfield PD has done. She decides all of it looks safe and heads into the house.
  
  
• Reva and Josh are dressing for the masquerade ball and he tells her to be very careful tonight up there, that he does not want to lose her again. Reva assures him that Frank and Harley are taking every precaution to protect her.
  
  
• While the Lillian is in with Rick, the nurses station is left unmanned and Judith takes a moment to look through Mel's chart. She quickly learns that Mel was pregnant with Rick's baby and that the hit-and-run caused her to miscarry their baby. A thought that pleases her!
  
  
• Phillip arrives at Beth's suite. She asks him why he's come and Phillip tells her that Olivia said something the other day that has stuck with him. However, Beth assures Phillip that whatever Olivia said she doesn't want to hear it. Phillip says that she does and proceeds to tell her that Olivia said that the only woman Phillip would ever love, trully love was Beth. And Phillip then admits she was right...he kisses her passionately and asks to be her escort to the ball and Beth agrees!
  
  
• Josh is sorting the mail Harley brought in as Reva is finishing her make-up. He comes across the mysterious note and opens it. "You always did like to be the center of attention didn’t you? Even when you killed him it was all about you. You shall pay once and for all." He immediately calls Frank in and shows the note to Reva!
  
  
• Blake is replaying the scene from Towers, over and over in her head as she is getting ready. However, when Ross arrives to leave for the ball she pushes the thoughts of him and her mother out of her head, in an effort to enjoy the evening.
  
  
• Rick steps out of Mel's room for some coffee and Judith quickly steps in. She places what would appear to be a "Get Well" card by Mel's bed and quickly leaves...just as Rick is about to reenter the room.
  
  
• Josh advises that going through with the gala would be a bad idea. But Reva insists that they have to go through with this, she believes that this will end the stalker fiasco once and for all. Frank assures Josh, Reva and Cassie that they will all be protected, since it is a masquerade ball he can put several police officers in the room disguised who will work to protect them.
  
  
• Alone in his suite Gus prepares to open the safety deposit box.
  
  
• Rick adjusts himself by Mel's bedside and then notices the Get Well card...
  
  
• With the Spaulding mansion empty...Alexandra opens the wall safe and pulls out the bracelet. A maid announces she has a visitor. Alex thanks her and orders the servants to take the night off...

• Frank arrives at Josh and Reva's house to hear the idea Cassie has had about luring the stalker out of hiding! Cassie reveals that she wants to host a masquerade ball. Frank tells her it is going to be risky and that they will need a cover for the ball!
  
  
• Marina and Ben go on their college tour and decide to have lunch at a bistro in downtown Chicago.
  
  
• The women struggle with an idea and Josh suggest that they hold a benefit in Richard's name for the library that Prince Alonzo is building in San Cristobel in Richard's memory. Frank says that he likes that idea and they will have to work make sure Cassie and Reva are the hostess, since the stalker has an agenda against Reva for her role in Richard's death. Cassie says that will not be a problem, that her and Reva are now a united front!
  
  
• Blake is fixing to head out to meet Ross for lunch, but he calls and cancels. Ross tells her that he'll be working through lunch and will be home late that evening. Blake decides to surprise him at the office with a lunch. She calls Towers and orders it!
  
  
• Lillian runs into Mel as she is headed out to lunch and inquires if Mel has had a chance to tell Rick about the baby. Mel tells her that she hasn't and asks Lillian how far along she is. Lillian tells her without looking she believes 6-10 weeks. Mel thanks her and invites her to lunch, Lillian agrees but runs inside to get her purse...leaving Mel alone in the parking garage.
  
  
• Marina and Ben are going inside the bistro when she spots Gus across the street! Gus thanks his old partner for all her help...hugs and kisses her in front of a downtown hotel. She watches as the woman gets in a taxi and leaves. Marina tells Ben she wants to go home.
  
  
• Harley spots Josh at Company and she tells him Frank informed her about the ball at The Beacon. The two talk about what will happen at the ball. Harley promises that she will keep a personal eye on Reva all night long. Josh thinks back to when he lost Reva the first time and says that Harley has away of lending a helping hand when he needs it the most!
  
  
• Mel goes across the parking garage to bring her car around to meet Lillian when she drops her keys to the ground. From the back of the garage a car comes roaring towards Mel as she is standing up, the car strikes her sending Mel to back to the ground as Lillian returns!
  
  
• Gus leaves the hotel and goes two blocks down the street to the bank. Once inside he goes to the safety deposit box and empties the contents into his briefcase, then leaves!
  
  
• Lillian and a team of doctors work to stablize Mel as she drifts into a drug induced coma!
  
  
• Blake arrives at Towers to pick up her order! But she gets more than that when she spots her mother having what appears to be a very intimate lunch with...ROSS!!!
