It was a couple days after Christmas and the decorations were still up at Wyndemere. Lucky had just gotten off his shift at the PCPD. Talking to his mother had made him realize that he should make a step towards reconciling with Liz. He decided to go over and see if she would talk to him. He really wouldn't blame her if she didn't.

When he arrived, the first person he saw was Nikolas. "Hi Nikolas. How is Spencer?"

Nikolas looked up from his desk, "He's good Lucky. What's going on? Is Laura all right?"

"Mom is fine. I was wondering if Liz was arouind. I want to talk to her." Lucky shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other.

Nikolas sighed and laid down his pen, "She's taking a nap Lucky. You're not here to start a fight are you?" He glanced warily at his brother, "Because she is getting enough grief from Emily as it is. It can't be good for the baby. Frankly Lucky, I am worried about her."

Lucky felt the anger grow inside of him, "Who are you to judge me Nikolas? I just want to talk to her. Jesus Nikolas, she's my wife and I just want to talk to her. Last time I checked, there was no crime in that."

Elizabeth waddled into the room. She looked from one brother to the other, "What's going on here?"

Nikolas looked at Lucky, "Lucky wants to talk to you. You don't have too you know."

Elizabeth's heart leaped. Hopefully Lucky will take her and Cameron back, "It's ok Nikolas. I want to talk to him."

Nikolas walked out of the room as Lucky and Liz sat down on the couch. "Lucky, how are you? I am so happy to see you. I am so glad you came." Liz gushed, happiness oozing out of her pores.

"I am all right Liz" Lucky looked at her swollen belly, knowing that the child in there was not his. "How is the baby?"

    "Fine."

"Good." He stopped and started again, "You know, I thought I could do this Liz. I really did. But looking at you reminds me of your betrayal. I just can't get over the fact that you had sex with Jason." He looked away from her and focused on a picture of he, Liz, Nikolas and Emily. "Seriously Liz, do you honestly expect me to think you only had sex with him once?"

Elizabeth laid a hand on his knee and spoke gently, "Yes Lucky, it was one time. Ask Jason, he will tell you the same thing. He was upset about Sam and I had just caught you with Maxie. Do you know how that killed me? Walking in and seeing her holding on to you? I am sorry that she killed herself, I am."

"I have to question that Liz." Lucky shifted and faced her.

Liz felt like he punched her, "I can't believe you would say that about me. I am your wife. Don't you know me better than that?"

Lucky stood up, "I thought I did, then I found out you slept with Jason. Look this was a bad idea. I'll get in touch with you later, when I am better. I don't want to get you too stressed." With that he walked out of the room. To Elizabeth, it felt like he was walking out of her life forever. She threw herself facedown on the couch and broke out into sobs.

Nikolas walked in and saw Elizabeth crying. He was angry that Lucky got her so upset. He gathered her in his arms and soothed her. He pushed her hair back and tried to make her smile. Finally she started to smile and to laugh.

Neither one noticed Emily at the entrance of the living room. She turned and fled.

Scott walked into the courthouse with an agenda. He was on a mission and that mission was Alexis Davis. He reached her office and walked past her protesting assistant. Alexis was sitting at her desk, going over a deposition. Scott closed the door behind him. "Counselor. You are looking lovely today."

Alexis took off her glasses and responded, "Scott. What do I owe this pleasure? Have you committed any crimes and want to turn yourself in?"

"No Alexis," He walked over and sat down across from her, "You don't mind do you?"

Amused, Alexis said, "Oh please do."

"Well counselor, I was wondering if we could, you know, have a meeting of the minds you could say." Scott waved his hands as he spoke, "Perhaps over dinner. You dress up, I dress up, we go to a nice place and have something good to eat."

"You are asking me out?" Alexis asked, astonished. "Who put you up to this? Sonny? Someone must have." Her eyes narrowed in suspicion.

Scott leaned back and grinned sardonically, "Now why would you think something like that counselor?"

Alexis also leaned back and smiled, waving her pen, "Oh I don't now. To get a good laugh at my expense. So Mr Baldwin, I will pass on this charming invitation. But thank you, I have, and pardon the pun, enough on my plate."

"You have to eat counselor. I won't leave until I get the answer I want." Scott grinned. "Trust me, I won't leave."

"Well then you will be here a long time." Alexis put her glasses back on and continued working. Five minutes stretched to ten and Scott was still there. "Oh for God's sake Scott. You are still here? What do you want?"

"All I ask is dinner. Come on, it'll be fun."

Alexis sighed in exasperation. "Will it get you out of my office?" Scott nodded. "Then fine. Dinner it is."

"Perfect. Now you have to tell me when." Scott decreed.

Alexis whipped off her glasses and glanced at her daily planner, "Honestly Scott, this week is booked. It will have to be next week. I am in court most of the week."

Scott headed for the door, "I'll call ya."

Sarcastically Alexis called, "Oh. Please. Do."

Brenda and Jax talk about Carly

Ned and Brenda are in the living room, watching James play with his new Christmas toys. James was fascinated by everything. He looked a lot like Ned with the blue eyes and the dimples. Ned and Brenda had no formal agreement, just their friendship regarding the custody of James. Today, Ned was telling Brenda about his night of passion with Lucy. "Three times Brenda! That woman is a tigress! I have the scars to prove it."

Brenda laughed joyously. If there was one thing she could never see, it was Ned and Lucy, "Did she leave scratches?"

Ned lifted his shirt up, "Take a look." Brenda saw several long scratches that Lucy had left. "Oh my God." Brenda raised her hand to her mouth, "This is funny."

"She practically attacked me. I swear it's because she saw Scott Baldwin with Alexis. But that's ok, I reaped the benefits." Ned smiled down at James.

Brenda laughed out loud, "Are you going to see her again?"

Ned shrugged his shoulders, "I don't see why not. Lucy's fun. I like her and she's undemanding." Brenda and Ned were interuppted by Alice who announced the arrival of Jax. "Brenda, want me to stay?"

Brenda hung her face into her hands, "Arrgghh, yeah you better go.. He will just tell me that I shouldn't see Sonny. Although he should talk, he's marrying Carly."

"That I am Brenda." Jax strode into the room, "How are you Ned?"

"I am good. I will leave you two to talk. Jax, I will talk to you soon." With that, Ned left the room.

Brenda leaned down and picked up James. She kissed him on the head and asked, "Hi Jax, How are you?"

"I am doing well. I came here to talk to you about my impending marriage. I wanted you to hear this from me." Jax sat down across from her and smiled at James, tickling his stomach.

Brenda studied Jax, "Ok, what's going on Jax? You're scaring me."

"No, no, no. No mean to scare you." Jax reassured, "I just want you to know that Carly and I are getting married in a few days. With our past history, I thought you should hear it from me."

"I appreciate it Jax though there is no reason for you to explain yourself." Brenda said, "Mind if I ask if you know what you are doing in marrying Carly?"

Jax grinned at Brenda, "Mind if I ask what you are doing with Sonny again."

"Touche" Brenda smiled back, "However, I am not "with"him nor do I plan on marrying him. He has hurt me far too many times in the past. But Jax, whatever makes you happy, will make me happy. I just don't have to like it."

Jax stood up and Brenda stood up with him. "Brenda, always remember that I want the best for you." He leaned down to give her a kiss on the cheek. She turned so he captured her lips and she kissed him sweetly.

"That's for you to remember me by."

Bobbie let herself into the Scorpio house and called out for Mac. She searched in every room and finally found him sitting on his unmade bed staring at his wedding picture of him and Felicia. Tears were coming slowly out of his eyes and he made no effort to wipe them away. "Mac!" Bobbie said sternly. He ignored him and she spoke louder, "Mac! I know you can hear me and I won't go away."

Mac turned around and groaned, "What do you want Bobbie?"

"I want to know what the hell you are doing with your life. Mac, it's been over a month since Felicia and Maxie have died. You need to pull yourself together."

"I don't want to hear this Bobbie. Leave me alone." Mac said, turning away from her.

Bobbie walked around and faced him. She slapped him across the face and said, "Mac, you owe this to me to listen to me!"

Rubbing his cheek he mumbled, "Owe it to you? How do I owe it to you? You didn't lose your wife and daughter did you?"

"Oh don't even go there with me. I have lost just as many loved ones as you. So stop with the pity party! I want you to listen to me because for God's sake Mac, you owe me this." Bobbie said calmly but sternly.

"I still don't know how I owe this to you. Will you please get the hell out of my house!" Mac yelled.

Bobbie sat down and looked into Mac's sad eyes, "You WILL listen to me because if it wasn't for me and Tony, you wouldn't have had Maxie for the time you had her. May I remind you that my daughter's heart beat in her chest?" Bobbie waited a second for that to sink in. When she spoke again, she had to choke back tears. "I wish I could have had even one more day with BJ and you got so much more. I don't begrudge you that. BJ saved Maxie's life and you and Felicia got a wonderful gift. Do you think Felicia is proud of you right now?" Mac didn't say anything. "Do you?"

    Mac mumbled, "No."

Bobbie continued, "So now you need to get yourself together. Stop the drinking Mac. You have lost your job. Frankly Mac, you look like awful and when was the last time that the sheets on this bed were cleaned? What about your clothes, when was the last time you took a shower or shaved?" Mac didn't say anything and Bobbie pressed on "You need to do it for the people you left behind. Georgie is a mess, have you even noticed her lately? She is going to come stay with me at the brownstone. But you need to get yourself together for Felicia and for Maxie. And for BJ. If it wasn't for BJ, you would have lost Maxie a long time ago."

"Thanks for the guilt trip Bobbie." Mac stated blankly.

"Georgie needs you! You need to go to rehab and get yourself better! You need to do this for Felicia, Georgie, Maxie and BJ. You owe it to us." Bobbie leaned back and hugged Mac. "We all love you and are concerned for you. We want you to get better. There is a place in a rehab center that you can enter tonight. DO you know that we love you? Please Mac, please."

For a long time Mac stared at the floor. Then he looked up with tears in his eyes. "I don't want to but I will do it."

Bobbie got up and walked out. Outside stood Robert and Robin. "He's going tonight."

Robert looked at Bobbie, "Thank you."

    "You're welcome."

Carly was at the Brownstone with Bobbie going over last minute details with her regarding the wedding. The wedding was in two days and Carly had never been so excited. Her dress was finished. Carly decided to go somewhat traditional with this dress. It was strapless with pearls encrusted on the bodice and she had a white fur cape to go over it. Yes, Carly was wearing white. It was her wedding and she was doing what she wanted. Jason was wearing a tux and Lulu was wearing a black dress. The flowers were ordered, music was ready and the cake all set. Carly was content.

Carly looked up when she heard someone walk in the door. It was Jax and she flew over to greet him, kissing him hello. He wasn't as responsive as he normally was, "Jax, what's wrong?"

Jax sighed heavily and sat down, "Carly, it's Lady Jane. She is very sick."

Carly's hand flew to her mouth and she gasped, "No! What's wrong?"

"She had a stroke. Jerry is with her and she is very ill." Jax looked pained, "I can't believe this, not my mother."

"Well we have to go to her. There is no question of that." Carly stated matter of factly. "We can leave tonight. We have to get to her as soon as possible."

Jax grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips, "We have a wedding to go to, remember."

"To hell with the wedding. This is your mother." Carly stated emphatically.

"I have a compromise, because I really want to marry you Carly." Jax looked at her earnestly, "Let's get married tomorrow morning and leave in the afternoon. I have to tell you, Lady Jane is going to need care. Do you mind being away from Port Charles for that long? Do you think Sonny will mind if we bring the boys?"

Carly shook her head, eyes shining. "I will call Sonny and clear everything with him. I am sure he will be ok with everything. I will tell him that he can come over anytime he wants to to visit. He has the boys now and he can keep them until tomorrow."

Jax stood up, "This means so much to me that you are willing to come to Australia with me. I love you so much Carly."

Carly wiped her eyes, "Well, let's get cracking. We have a lot of phone calls to make."

Brenda was drinking coffee in Kelly's, James next to her in his stroller when the door opened Ric Lansing walked in. She had never met him, but knew his reputation. He did a double take, he knew exactly who she was. He walked to the counter, got a cup of coffee and came back, sitting across from her. "I don't believe we have met. I am Ric Lansing."

    "Brenda Barrett." she responded coolly.

Ric smoothed down his suit jacket, "How are you today?"

Brenda flipped her hair back and regarded Ric cautiously, "I am fine. Is there something I can do for you?"

"Glad that you asked. I am sure you are aware of my relationship with Sonny Corinitos."

"What does Sonny have to do with you?" Brenda asked warily.

Ric calmly stated, "He is my brother and I know you are his lover of the moment."

Brenda burst out laughing, "Am I now?" She looked at James who was starting to wake up, "Sorry pal, you have the wrong girl."

"My sources have seen you two out around town." Ric responded.

Brenda smiled sweetly, "A dinner doesn't mean we are sleeping together, does it? I mean, you and I are sharing coffee and no one is accusing us of hitting the sheets are they?"

"Ms. Barrett you know what I mean." Ric looked at her as he sipped his coffee.

Brenda grew impatient and sighed, "What do you want from me?"

"I want you to get me any information that you have on my brother regarding his mob activities, present and the past. I believe you know a lot and can put him away. He is a criminal." Ric started saying heatedly.

Brenda stood up and put her jacket on, also securing James in with a warm blanket. "Mr Lansing, you have the wrong girl. I will not do your dirty work for you. In fact, I suggest you leave Sonny alone. Now if you excuse me, I have to get my son home."

"You will regret this Brenda!" Ric called out.

"Doubt it!" Brenda manuevered her way out of Kelly's and reached for her cell phone. She dialed, "Sonny, you were right. Ric did try to get me to spill about us." She paused. "Of course I didn't say anything. I was just telling you. Bye." With that, Brenda and James walked to the Quartermaine mansion.

Soon, TCOPC will be back on air. Hopefully. I am waiting for the fixing of my computer. I will also be cutting way back on writing for the next few months as I have licensing tests that I have to pass. Anything that I have written with a time limit has been pushed back. We will be pushing forward with the Mayoral Race, which will have a surprise or two, the Quartermaine story which is a huge umbrella story and the birth of Liz's baby which will be, if my computer is back, on Super Bowl Sunday. I have listened to the feedback of the viewers and am tailoring the stories to what you want to see. Let me know what you want to see.

Now that AJ is back, will Carly be far behind? She has been mentioned a few times, but what actress will play her? We have been in talks with Sarah Joy Brown to reprise the role, Tamara Braun and Gina Tognoni to play Carly.

Rumor has it that a face from the past will make a very surprising entrance at the victory party at whomever wins the Mayor's race. His or her enterance into the story will be a HUGE shock and will bring us back to the roots of the show. One hint...all is not what it seems in Port Charles.

John J York will be off the canvas for a short while for a much needed vacation. His character will enter rehab and stay in rehab.

"Sarah!" Patrick brought his hand up to his cheek where she slapped him. "What the hell was that for?"

Sarah planted her hands on her hips, anger spilling out of her,"What do you mean Patrick? What was the slap for? Oh I don't know, what do you think it was for?" She finished sarcastically.

Patrick looked down at his feet before looking at her, "Look Sarah, I am sorry things had to end between us. But I never promised you anything."

"Rich, real rich." Sarah said, leaning back to slap him again. He caught her arm and said, "Don't try it again Sarah. You knew how it was between us."

Sarah wrenched her arm free from his grasp, "I NEVER expected for you to leave me with a letter saying that you were going to a medical conference and then finding out you were never coming back. That there was no medical conference. Do you know how embarrassing it was for me to go to work? To have everyone know that you lied to me? I actually transferred to another hopital Patrick! If you wanted to end it with me, you should have just ended it. Not be a coward about it, you bastard."

Patrick sighed heavily, "Ok, I admit I screwed up. I just didn't know how to end it."

    "You think?"

"I was coming back though. I just had." Patrick hesitated a minute too long and Sarah pounced.

"Had what? Another chick to screw over. Patrick let me tell you this. This may come as a shock to you but you are not God's gift to women." Sarah spewed angrily. "I pity any woman who ever gets involved with you." She stabbed him in the chest with her finger as the elevator opened and Robin stepped out.

"Oh my God Sarah! I can't believe it's you! I just heard that you were here from AJ. He asked me to find you. He thought you might have gotten lost and he didn't want you paged quite yet." Robin looked from Sarah to Patrick, immediately catching on to the tension between the two. "Have I interrupted something?"

Sarah smiled thinly at Robin, eyes narrowed, "We were done. Thanks Robin. I better go find AJ. Doctor Drake" She said sarcastically, "I wish I could say it was a pleasure." With that she turned on her heels and stomped into the elevator.

"Patrick, what was that about?" Robin asked tentatively.

"Nothing." Patrick walked away, leaving a stunned Robin.

Sonny opened the door to his penthouse when Brenda knocked later that afternoon. "Hi Brenda. This is a surprise. How are you holding up?" Sonny embraced Brenda as she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave into his kiss.

"Hmmm, that felt good. I decided to get out of the house for a little bit. James is sleeping and I am a little stir crazy." Brenda tipped her face up again. "Kiss me again Sonny." Sonny obliged, pulling her into a passionate kiss.

Sonny broke the kiss reluctantly, "I don't want to, you know, give a show for all the neighbors here. Come on inside." He closed the door and grabbed Brenda's hand, leading her to the couch. "Tell me what's going on."

Brenda snuggled up against Sonny and aimlessly dragged her fingers up and down his thigh. She told him everything that had happened so far during the day and how Alan was still in surgery. How AJ returned with Sarah Webber. "I never really knew Sarah Webber, just knew that she was Elizabeth's sister and involved with Nikolas Cassadine for a while. But she is now married to AJ. I guess they met in Santa Barbara. Have you called Carly?"

Sonny kissed Brenda's forehead and brushed her hair back, "I have to wait a few hours to call her. I want to make sure that Michael is off to school. Last time I spoke to Carly, Michael said he loved school down there."

"That's good." Brenda said distractedly. "Hey are you going to Robin and Patrick's housewarming party? Their house is adorable."

Sonny nodded, "Robin called and invited me."

Brenda tilted her head up and smiled, "Let's go together." she said impulsively.

"I don't know Brenda. Are you sure you want everyone knowing about us?" Sonny cautioned.

Brenda leaned over and kissed him thouroughly. "I am positive."

"Hey Laura! Come here!" Luke was sitting on the couch in the living room flipping through the channels when he was stopped by a broadcast of Tiffany Hill's. "Tiff is on the air again and the story is about Alan Quartermine. It looks like he had a heart attack or something."

"Oh my God." Laura came out of the kitchen and into the living room. "Is he alright?"

Luke turned up the volume and shrugged his shoulders. "It's pretty vague and it sounds serious. I wonder why Barbara Jean hasn't called me about this."

Laura sat in the crook of his arm and settled in to watch the broadcast. Moments later, they saw Ric Lansing approach the hospital and Tiffany run towards him.

Tiffany shoved her microphone at Ric, "Mr Lansing, what do you have to say about Dr Alan Quartermaine's condition?"

Knowing an opportunity when he sees one, Ric turned towards the cameras and put on a grave face. "My heart goes out to the Quartermaine family. Dr Quartermaine is a fine, upstanding citizen. Tonight, all of Port Charles should be praying for the health of Dr Quartermaine and wish him and his family well. That is all for now."

Tiffany spoke quickly, "Mr Lansing, how will this affect your plans for running for mayor? We have heard rumors that you were looking at the Quartermaines for an endorsement. Are you still trying to get one?"

"Ms Hill." Ric began, "At a time like this, politics take a backseat. We should be concentrating on the health and welfare of Dr Quartermaine. Thank you Ms Hill."

Luke turned off the TV in disgust. "I can't believe that we have to pick between that snake and Baldwin. It's like picking between Lucifer and Satan. They are one and the same!"

"I know honey, but there is nothing we can do. We have to just vote for the best candiadate." Laura tried to reason.

"That's my point Laura," Luke started to explain, "There is no best candidate. And now no one else can sign up and get on the ballot." Luke sighed, "One of them is going to be mayor and we will be going to hell in a handbasket.

Laura stood up and started to walk towards the kitchen, "Unless someone does a write in campaign."

Luke stood up and yelled, "You are a genius!"

The Quartermaines were sitting in the waiting room, waiting for some word on Alan. Hours had passed and they had heard nothing. Edward was staring out the window, Tracy was pacing from one end of the room to the other. AJ held onto Sarah's hand and Jason just stared ahead. For once, all of them were in a room together and no one was fighting.

The door opened and a nurse rushed through, "Dr Quartermaine! Come quick!"
  6. Tishy
“Dr Quartermaine! Come quick!” Monica rushes through the doors towards the operating room. Dr Hayward is there to greet her, a tired expression on his face, “Monica, we did have a little problem. The aneurysm did burst but we were able to correct it. The surgery is over and everything looks ok. Of course you know that the next 48 hours are critical.” David pauses and wipes his face, “He woke up once and said your name. Then he slipped into a light coma which is to be expected. I can allow you, and just you to see him for five minutes.”

“Oh Dr Hayward thank you so much.” Monica tried to hold the tears back as best as she could. “I can’t thank you enough.”

David smiled, “Monica, it was my pleasure to help out today. I do want to warn you that Alan doesn’t look the same. He is very swollen from all the fluids given him. You can go speak to him if you wish and I will go talk to the rest of your family. The rest of you should go home.”

Monica nodded and tried to keep her composure, “I suspect we will, but I am going to stay here in my office so that I am close by.”

“Ok, I am staying on for a few days until Alan gets out of the critical stage, then another doctor will take over.” David walked towards the doors, “Your husband is a very lucky man.”

Monica tentatively opens the door and peers down at her husband. Tears well up into her eyes as she gazes upon the man that she loves, who is now close to twice the size that he was the day before. As a doctor, she knew that this would occur, as a wife she didn’t want to accept it. Alan is hooked up to many machines and oxygen. She sits down and picks up his hand, leaning down to press her lips to his hand.

“Oh Alan, how could you do this to me! I have been worried sick about you. I need you in my life so much. I love you more than you will ever know. I swear that I will never threaten to throw you or your father out of the mansion again. Edward is just devastated. If anything, you have to come back for Edward.” Trying to be strong, she brushes back a tear, “Skye is here to see you along with AJ and his new wife who you know very well. The former Sarah Webber. For some reason, she looks shorter to me. And Jason has been here the whole time wanting to see how you are. He too has been very worried. Tracy has been going out of her mind, I have never seen her like this. So Alan, you have to wake up and join us again, ok? We want you back. You make the family. Justus is on his way back from Minneapolis and I suspect he will want to see you as well.”

Epiphany opened the door and spoke softly, “Dr Quartermaine, you have to leave now. Dr Quartermaine needs his rest now.”

Monica leaned down and kissed Alan’s swollen cheek. “I love you Alan, always and forever.”

Robert is walking towards the entrance of the hospital when he spies Tracy coming out. He is aware of the situation with Alan and he walks up to her. Catching her by surprise, he handed her a handkerchief. “Tracy, I am sorry about your brother. What can I do to help you?”

A scornful Tracy stares him down, “Can you turn back the clock and make this go away? Make my brother the man he was yesterday?”

    “I wish I could Tracy.”

“What are you doing here anyway?”

“Mac called me and I wanted to let Robin know. So I figured that I would just drop on by and tell her. He has been with Bobbie and is going back to rehab.” Robert said.

“Isn’t that nice?” Tracy said sarcastically.

Robert started to walk away, “Look Tracy. I was trying to be nice here. I suspect moest people aren’t too nice to you. I know you are going through a tough time and I thought I could help. But I guess I am not high enough on the social ladder for you. So good night.” With that, Robert opened the doors to the hospital.

“No, stop.” Tracy pleaded. She was in a vulnerable state, “You are right and I am a mess. I am sorry Robert. I feel so helpless and I don’t know what to do anymore. The doctor says he is going to be ok, but I just don’t know. I just have a bad feeling.”

“It’s ok to feel upset Tracy.”

“I am Tracy Quartermaine. I don’t get upset. I eat people for lunch who are acting like me.” Tracy wiped the tears from her eyes, embarrassed. “Look Robert, thanks for listening, go see Robin. She needs you more than I do.”

“Not necessarily.” Robert embraced her as Tracy burst into tears.

Scott opens the door to MetroCourt and ushers Alexis in. They have been on a few dates now and surprisingly, Alexis was finding herself enjoying his company. There was nothing romantic between them yet, not that Scott hadn’t tried. They sat down and opened their menus. “What are you in the mood for Alexis?”

“I don’t know Scott.” Alexis threw down the menu. “I just can’t believe that Ric is using Alan’s illness to try to garner votes for the Election. Did you see him on the news?”

Scott rubbed his hand over his beard and said slowly, “Yeah I saw it. He has some nerve. I can’t believe he beat me to it.”

    “Scott! That’s horrible!”

“Did I say that out loud?” Scott smiled innocently. “How could you have ever married him? You are so much more intelligent than that.”

“Well Scott we all have things that we do that we regret in life. Like I regret that I was born a Cassadine and I regret that I didn’t get to know Sam.” Alexis confided. She glanced up and saw Lucy walking towards their table. “Ah, is there someone in your past that you regret Scott?”

Scott turned around and saw Lucy approach. He smiled and waved her over, “Hey Luce. I am surprised you are here and not at the hospital.” He commented.

Lucy looked at them quizzically, “Why would I be at the hospital?”

“Oh God, you don’t know. I am so sorry to have to tell you this.” Scott said. “Luce, Alan is very sick and is in surgery. It has been all over the news. I should have called you but I thought someone else would have.”

Lucy’s eyes filled with fear as her hand went to cover her mouth, “Scott Baldwin, in all the years I have known you this is by far the cruelest thing you have ever done to me. Not so soon after Felicia! And Alexis, I can’t believe you are a party to this. Again you are trying to hurt me in the worst possible way.”

Alexis spoke quietly, “Lucy, Scott is telling you the truth. Apparently he is having some heart problems. It is on the news. You may want to go to the hospital to see if you can find anything out. Or call one of the Quartermaines.”

“You don’t know what you are talking about. This is just a cruel joke that Scott is playing on me.” Lucy denied.

Scott stood up and grabbed her arms, “Luce, I am telling you the truth on Serena’s and Dominique’s lives. I would never joke about something like this.”

Knowing this to be true, Lucy wrenched her arms free and ran out.

It’s after ten that evening when the Quartermaine’s arrive home. Jason has gone home to his penthouse. In the foyer, are Skye’s suitcases.

“For God’s sake, can’t anybody do anything around here?” Tracy demanded. “Can someone please remove these suitcases and put them in a guest room? We live in a mansion, we have enough rooms, yet more people are staying here than at MetroCourt.”

“Sorry Tracy, I just left them here.” Skye sighed, “I was in such a rush. I didn’t know what to do. I want to go hold Lila. Ned, can you bring my suitcases up to my old room?”

Ned looked at Skye in dismay, “I would love to, except that is now Brenda’s room. But I got a call from her, she is checking into a hotel so that we could all be together. Feel free to take her room, I just want you to know that she has her stuff in there now.”

“Wonderful. Is she seeing Sonny again, because if she is, I want the sheets changed and that room completely disinfected?” Skye snapped.

Edward looked at his brood of children and grandchildren and shouted “Enough! No fighting tonight. I just want to go to bed and pray that Lila is looking after Alan tonight.”

“I agree Grandfather.” AJ said. “Is it all right that Sarah and I stay here? Or we can check into MetroCourt.”

Edward waved his hand. “Here is fine.”

“I had the maids clean your room AJ.” Ned said, walking into the living room and helping himself to a drink. He sat down, “What a horrible day. It feels like it has dragged on forever. Grandfather, are you going to be ok?”

“Don’t baby me Ned. I just want my son to be ok. He is the important thing. We made it through surgery and the next few days are going to be very important.” Edward said in a strong voice. “I want all the Quartermaines to stay strong and stick together. We will get through this.” Edward paused as he stood at the entrance to the living room and the foyer. “I’m going upstairs to bed. I know I haven’t always been the best parent or grandparent and I have come down really hard on all of you. But,” Edward’s voice broke, “I love you all so much and I hope you all know that.”

Nikolas comes downstairs to find Alison feeding Spencer and Elizabeth playing with Cameron. “Good morning.” He said as he reached for the morning paper, “How is everyone?”

Cameron pipes up, “Breakfast yummy Uncle Nik.”

“I’m sure it was.” Nikolas ruffled Cameron’s hair, “Elizabeth you must be glad to be on maternity leave now. Yesterday must have been awful, but at least you got to see Sarah.”

Elizabeth looked up and smiled, “Yeah it was great to see her, she has changed so much. We caught up on a lot. She and AJ are going to be staying in Port Charles for a while, which makes me happy. Alison, has Jason heard anything about Alan?”

Alison looks up from feeding Spencer, “When I left, Jason had just called the hospital. He is in ICU and is in a light coma. Jason is going to stop by the hospital later today.” Alison wiped Spencer’s mouth with his spoon, “He is very concerned.”

Nikolas looks to Elizabeth, “I know you are going to be having your baby soon and Jason is your coach. If he can’t because he needs to be with Alan, I will be happy to help you out.”

Elizabeth smiled, “Thank you Nikolas. I want to ask Lucky first obviously then if Lucky won’t, I was going to ask Sarah.”

“Do you know if it’s going to be a girl or a boy? Do you have any names yet?” asked Alison.

“Not sure if it’s a girl or a boy. I do have some names that I want to run by Jason first.” Elizabeth said.

Nikolas commented as he picked up the paper, “Well Liz, the offer still stands if you need a coach.”

No one had noticed that Emily had walked into the room, “You what? You are going to be her coach? That is it Nikolas, I will not tolerate this!” An irate Emily yelled.

Nikolas stood up and walked towards Emily, “You won’t tolerate this Emily? What has happened to you? Jealousy is eating you up inside for no reason.”

“Am I the only one here that doesn’t realize what Elizabeth is about?” Emily asked rhetorically, “She has no man to rely on so she is going to move in on Nikolas. I know how she works. She always needs a man.”

“Oh shut up Emily!” Elizabeth interjected, “What you are saying is simply not true. You are turning into a jealous shrew and you are not the same Emily you were months ago. Is it because I slept with your brother? So what?”

“So what? You have lied to me and to Lucky for”

Nikolas cut her off, “Stop it Emily, I don’t want any fighting in front of the boys. Stop playing the ‘You lied to us’ card, it is getting old. No one seems to mind except for you and you have no right to.”

Emily points a finger at her chest, “I have no right to? You are my fiancé and she is making a play for you. Can’t you see that? I have seen you holding her in your arms while she cries her crocodile tears.” Emily grew angrier as she continued, “Don’t deny it Nikolas. I saw it with my own eyes.”

Frustrated, Nikolas threw up his arms, “Emily, Elizabeth is my sister in law and I was comforting her. You keep pointing out to me that I am your fiancé yet you seem to forget what trust is. Next thing I know I will find out you bugged the place.”

Silence settled in the room as Emily stared at Alison. Alison stared back. “He’s going to find out Emily, I already told Jason.”

“Why don’t I like the sound of this?” Nikolas asked cautiously.

Emily sighed heavily and pushed her hair back before speaking. She spoke in a whisper, “I asked Alison to watch Elizabeth to make sure Elizabeth wasn’t coming on to you.”

    Alison said quickly, “There’s more.”

    “I offered to pay her.”

Elizabeth and Nikolas yelled in unison, “What?” Nikolas quickly recovered and said, “Alison, can you bring the boys in the other room while we talk to Emily.” Alison and the boys quickly left the room. “Emily how could you do this?”

“I told you.” Emily stared Nikolas down, “I don’t trust Elizabeth.”

Nikolas looked at Emily in disbelief, “But you are also saying you don’t trust me. Emily, I want you to get out. I think we need to take a break from each other.”

Shocked, Emily stammered, “You don’t mean that Nikolas. I love you.”

“Your actions speak otherwise Emily. I suggest you leave.” Nikolas said coldly.

Emily flounced from the room, “I hope you both rot in hell!”

Ned’s cell phone rings the next morning startling him from a deep, yet troubled sleep. “Hello, Brenda?” He mumbled. “Is James all right?”

“Ned it’s me Lucy. How is Alan?” Lucy’s fretful voice rang through the line.

Ned wiped the sleep from his eyes, “He made it through the night but it is critical. Sorry Lucy, he is in ICU. Family members only.”

“I understand. I was married to him so I wanted to find out if he was ok.” Lucy walked around her apartment in MetroCourt. “I am just so afraid that he will die. I don’t want to lose him.”

“I know. None of us do.” Ned paused, “Lucy, do you want to meet me for breakfast?” He groped for the alarm clock, “I know it’s a little late for breakfast and too early for lunch but I could meet you there. Brenda is staying there as well and I was going to drop in to see her..”

Lucy stopped, “I was just downstairs and I haven’t seen her. In fact, I didn’t see her yesterday either. Maybe she is at Sonny’s.”

Ned said quizzically, “Why would she be at Sonny’s?”

Lucy said, “Ned, they are together. I heard her tell Robin.”

Ned shot up straight up in bed and yelled, “They are what?”

Brenda lay in Sonny’s arms after a night of lovemaking. She sighed in happiness as she watched Sonny’s chest raise up and down in sleep. She giggled to herself as she remembered how quickly he had fallen asleep after their last lovemaking session. She leaned over and kissed his chest up to his mouth. When she reached his mouth, she dragged her tongue lightly over his lips in an effort to wake him up.

Sonny’s eyes fluttered opened and he captured her tongue. They share an intimate kiss. “Morning Bren.”

“Morning. Thanks for letting us stay here last night.”

Sonny kissed her forehead. “I love waking up with you next to me. There is nothing I would want more than having this everyday.”

“It’s too soon Sonny.” Brenda snuggled deeper into the covers, “Although I like the sound of that. I am actually thinking of talking to Ned and moving out of the mansion. I would like a place of my own to raise James.”

Sonny smiled down at her, “Well you know, you have a place here with me always. I would love that. But I can see that you would want a place to call home.” He kissed her. “Just think, if you lived with me how much sex we would have? We have a lot to catch up on.”

“You would think of that.” Brenda stood up and put a bathrobe on. “I need to check on James. I will be right back.”

Sonny leaned back on to the pillows and his phone rang. He picked it up, thinking it might be Carly. Needless to say he was very surprised to hear Ned’s voice on the line. “Sonny? Is Brenda there?”

Sonny sighed and rubbed his forehead, “Yes Ned, she is.”

“I would like to talk to her.” Sonny covered the phone and called out to Brenda. She came back and he whispered that it was Ned. A look of dismay crossed her face as she took the phone from Sonny. She listened to Ned and agreed to meet him at the Quartermaines in a half hour.

“I have to go Sonny. Ned is really angry that I stayed here. If I had told him about us, he would have understood.” Brenda sighed. “I just need to straighten things out and then I am going to look for a place to live.”

Sonny pushed her hair out of her eyes, “I know Bren. We knew that this could happen. Promise me something ok?”

    “Sure.”

“I want you to talk to Scott Baldwin as soon as possible.”

Mac was sitting on his hotel bed when Bobbie emerged from the bathroom. “Mac, are you ready to go?”

Mac hung his head. “Yes.” He said in defeat, “I know I have to go back there and get the help I need. Will you come visit next week?”

Bobbie nodded, “Of course I will. On your first visit I will come up.” She looked around the room and gathered the last of her things and put them in her bag. “I will come up with Robert next week.”

“I don’t know if I want to face him yet. So for right now, just you. He will understand.” Mac confided. “I knew you would understand what I have been been going through. I just want to get rid of the images and the desire to drink.”

“And you will Mac. It just takes time.” Bobbie sat down next to him. “The demons go away. You know I am here for you anytime.”

“I know Bobbie and I thank you so much. Let’s go.” Mac stood up and with that, headed towards recovery.

AJ walks into Alan’s room and settles himself down in the chair next to a comatose Alan. He sighs deeply and grasps Alan’s hand. “Oh Father, I wish you would wake up.” AJ sniffs and looks around the room, “I have so many things that I have to tell you, that I need to tell you. I need you to forgive me for everything that I have done wrong in the past. I need to tell you that I love you and everything that I have done in my life is not your fault. It’s mine.” Tears threatened to spill out of AJ’s eyes. “ I was always blaming you for loving Jason more than me and I know that isn’t true. I know you loved me just as much. Please, I just want one more day with you Father. One day to tell you everything that needs to be said. I am pleading with you God, don’t take my Father until I have a chance to tell him what I need too.”

AJ lapsed into silence. Around him he could hear the beeping of the machines that were keeping his father alive. He could smell the smell of death. The doctors’ were right. Alan did not look good. He was swollen to almost twice his normal size. His skin was pale and seemed waxy to the touch. “Oh Father, I would do anything to make this right. You are such a great man and I should be there, not you. You don’t deserve this.”

“Guess what Father, I got married. She’s a wonderful girl, you even know her. Sarah Webber.” AJ spoke hopefully, “It was just one of those things. I met her in Santa Barbara and we just instantly clicked. She is a physician’s assistant and is going to look for a job here. We are going to stay here. All along we have said we wanted to come back here to our families. I was going to ask Mother if we could stay in the gatehouse. I don’t think she will mind.” AJ’s voice broke, “We are going to try to have a baby soon. At least, I want kids soon, she and I haven't really talked about it. I know you will be such a great Grandfather. Father, I just want you to get better. I want to be the best son that I can be. Please Father, let me prove it to you.”

AJ dropped his head and let the tears flow. He didn’t notice that Alan’s hand twitched or that his eyes fluttered open. Alan licked his lips and whispered, “AJ.”

AJ’s head whipped up and a smile broke across his face. He reached over and pushed the Nurse’s button. “Dad! You're awake! Oh thank God! I have to get the doctor!” AJ ran to the door and threw it open, “Someone, Dr Hayward! Come quick! My father just woke up!”

Dr. Hayward and some nurses flew into the room and pushed AJ out. The longest five minutes of AJ’s life passed before Dr Hayward came out. “AJ, call Monica. Your father is awake and doing ok.”

“Thank you Doctor! Thank you so much!” AJ stunned David by throwing his arms around him. “I’m going to call my mother right now.”

Elizabeth was waiting outside Lainey’s office for Lucky, feeling some back pains. She checked her watch and saw that she had fifteen minutes until she had to meet Jason. She got up and walked around, rubbing her back. The door opened to Lainey’s office and Lucky stepped out, thanking Lainey.

“Hey Liz. You ok?” Lucky asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” Liz said, grabbing her purse, “Just some pains that’s all. The baby is going to want to make an entrance very shortly I think.”

Lucky walked slowly next to her towards the Nurse’s Station to meet Jason. “Could be. Will you call me when it’s time? No matter what time, even if it's three in the morning.”

Elizabeth looked surprised, “Really? You want to be there?”

    “Of course.”

“Well then, of course you can. Jason is going to be there of course and I think my sister wants to be. If they make me kick someone out, I’ll kick Sarah out.” Elizabeth laughed.

Lucky laughed along with her and shuffled his feet, “Uh Liz, I know you are staying at Nikolas’. I get that. What about staying at the loft until you have the baby. It’s closer to the hospital than Wyndemere.”

Up ahead, Elizabeth saw Jason. “Uh, I don’t know Lucky. Let me think about it ok? Part of me really wants too and the other part doesn’t want to uproot Cameron to just go back to Wyndemere. If it was permanent, I would saw yes.”

“I understand.” Lucky said, “I can’t give you permanent yet.” They walked up to Jason. “Hey Jason, how is Alan.”

Jason looked from Lucky to Elizabeth, “Elizabeth I hate to do this. Alan just woke up. I need to go upstairs. Elizabeth, do you mind if I skipped this appointment?”

Elizabeth brightened, “That is great news! No Jason, go and give your family my best.”

“Mine too Jason.” Lucky said. “Um, Elizabeth, do you want me to go in with you?”

    Elizabeth smiled, “Yes, I do.”

Walking purposefully through the hospital, Sarah left the Human Resources office. She had applied for a job as a Physician’s Assistant, a position she knew she would get. She was in fact, a Webber married to a Quartermaine. AJ had just now called her and told her that Alan was awake so she was on her way to ICU.

The elevator doors opened she stepped in. She went up one floor and the elevator stopped. The doors opened and Patrick stepped in, clipboard in hand. “Oh great. This is all I need.” Sarah commented, “You.”

“Sarah. How are you?” Patrick inclined his head and consulted his clipboard.

“And you care why?” Sarah said sarcastically.

Patrick looked over at her, “Oh Sarah, I was just trying to be polite. We do live in the same city so we may as well try to get along.”

Sarah planted her hands on her hips in defiance, “Oh you would like that wouldn’t you? So your precious Robin doesn’t find out that you once were involved with me? Are you afraid that I will tell her how you treated me?”

“It’s not like that Sarah.” Patrick said, exasperated. “I love Robin and she knows all about my past.”

    Sarah cocked her eyebrow, “Really?”

“Yes really.” Patrick said. “Robin loves me and nothing you can do can change that.”

The elevator door opened, “Want to bet on that?” With that, Sarah flounced out leaving an angry Patrick behind.

Luke came rushing into the Spencer House yelling for Laura. Laura came out of the kitchen saying, “Luke, what is the matter!”

“Laura, Scott and Ric are having their debate tomorrow and we are going. Bobbie got us front row seats. Tiffany is the moderator.” Luke said excitedly.

Laura looked at Luke quizzically, “Why is it so important that we go? It’s not like we support Scott or Ric.”

Luke jumped over a chair and hugged her, “I know! But it’s important that we go. A ton of our friends are going to be there and I promised everyone that we would be there.

“Luuukkkeee,” Laura said cautiously, “Is there something that you aren’t telling me? You don’t have any surprises up your sleeve, do you?”

Innocently, Luke answered, “Why would you accuse me of such things my love?”

Laura laughed, “Because I have been married to you for 25 years that’s why Luke.”

Luke swung Laura around in excitement, “Mrs. Spencer just promise me that you will go and you will wear one of your prettiest dresses and knock everyone’s socks off. I’ll do the rest.”

    Laura gave in, “Ok.”

Luke kissed Laura soundly, “God I love you!”

The Quartermaines, including Sarah and Brenda, gathered in a waiting room off the ICU. Dr. Hayward sat down across from them, a serious look on his face. “Thank you all for coming here. I have to get back to Pine Valley but I wanted to go over the treatment for Alan. He is on his way to recovery, but that doesn’t mean he won’t have a relapse. He will be here in the hospital for a long time.”

David paused and looked around the room, “He will need speech therapy for one. He is going to need to learn how to walk again. The simple things that we take for granted, Alan will need help for.”

Edward moaned into his hand, “Noooo, not my son. I can’t bear to see this happen to my son.”

“He’s alive Father, we should be happy for that.” Tracy said, “I am just happy he’s alive.

“Dr Hayward, when can Alan come home? We can build state of the art equipment in the house to make him more comfortable. I think it will make him more comfortable to be around his things.” Monica implored.

David shook his head, “In case something goes wrong, he needs to be here. At least for the time being. We are starting physical therapy on him tomorrow and I encourage all of you to visit him as much as possible. He will need to see the whole family behind him.”

Edward looked at Tracy, “If you fight with your brother, I will bar you from this hospital!” Edward warned.

Ned piped up, “For God’s sake Grandfather, give Tracy some credit. She’s been a wreck over this whole thing.”

“Dr. Hayward?” Emily asked. “Can I go in to see him? I would really like to help with his care. I know I am only an intern, but I would like to help.”

“I have no objections. Monica?” David bounced the question over to Monica who nodded.

“Thanks, I have some time on my hands and I want to help Father out as much as possible.” Emily said, shooting an evil eye at Sarah.

David stood up, “Please, if there are any complications, don’t hesitate to call me. I left the full instructions of his recovery in his chart, but it is important that we start right away. He is fully awake, but don’t overwhelm him. Just family today and no children.” David shook everyone’s hands and said, “I am going to go have lunch with Dr Scorpio and then head back to Pine Valley. Skye, keep me posted.”

Skye came over and hugged David, “I will David. Thank you so much.”

Later that evening MetroCourt was packed. It seemed that everyone who was anyone in Port Charles turned out for the debate between Ric Lansing and Scott Baldwin. They were up on a stage, with Tiffany Hill in the middle moderating. The lights dimmed a few times, signaling for quiet. Tiffany began speaking into the camera.

“Good evening Port Charles to the debate between Ric Lansing and Scott Baldwin for Mayor of this fine city. Each candidate will have an opening remark and then I will ask questions to them. After that, we will open the floor to anyone who has a question for the candidates. We have one hour allotted for this. Mr Lansing, you have five minutes for your opening statement.” Tiffany coolly stated.

Ric gripped his podium, “Good evening Port Charles. I want to inform all of you why I would make the best Mayor of this fine city. My number one agenda is to rid this city of the crime that has befallen us. Sonny Corinithos and Jason Morgan need to be put behind bars where they can no longer use our port for illegal uses!” Ric pointed to the audience. “I have been walking the streets of Port Charles and that is what they have told me that they want to see. No more crime!”

    Scott broke in, “Hogwash!”

“I don’t believe my five minutes were up Counselor.” Ric said smoothly.

    “Close enough.” Scott said.

Tiffany broke in, “Mr Baldwin is right, your five minutes is up. Mr Baldwin, please proceed.”

Scott walked away from the podium and catered to the audience, a twinkle in his eye, “It’s funny, because when I have talked to the fine people of Port Charles, they tell me a different story. They want less taxes. They want the roads fixed. People want more jobs and better benefits. Not one person mentioned the names Jason Morgan or Sonny Corinthos to me. Mr Lansing, I think you are running for Mayor to carry out your personal vendetta against your brother and his associates.”

    “Times up.” Tiffany said.

“Mr Baldwin, that is simply not true. I don’t have anything against my brother. This vendetta you speak of is false.” Ric said hotly.

“Rightttt...and I have nothing against Luke Spencer.” Scott retorted.

“Gentleman, please.” Tiffany interrupted. “A question for Mr Lansing. How to you propose we stop crime in the city?”

Ric grasped the podium and spoke in a clear, strong voice. “I propose that we hire five more police officers to the PCPD. I propose creating a task force to look into mob activity in this city. In doing so, we will end the mob factions in this city.”

“How do you intend to pay for this Counselor?” Scott asked. “Raise taxes?”

“We may have to raise funds in some manner to clean our streets Mr Baldwin.” Ric answered, never losing his cool.

Tiffany asked, “Mr Baldwin, how to you plan on balancing the budget?”

Scott again walked around the stage, talking with his hands, “Well Tiffany and the people of Port Charles, cuts may have to be made. I would have to look at the overall budget and see where cuts could be made so that the teachers and workers of Port Charles could have the benefits that they deserve.”

Luke pushed forward and shouted, “Oh that’s bull Baldwin! What do you know about being Mayor? The only thing you know about is running away when the going gets tough!” He looked at Ric, “And you two Lansing! You are only interested in bringing Sonny down.”

“I categorically deny that Mr. Spencer!” Ric shouted back. “I want to represent the people of Port Charles and make them proud that they live here.”

“I categorically deny that, of course you do Lansing, you are a lawyer! I have to tell you, no one in Port Chuckles wants either one of you as Mayor.” Luke said.

“Luke, what are you doing?” Laura pulled on his arm.

Luke looked down at Laura, “Trust me pussycat. You will love this.”

Scott glared down at Luke, “So what do you think we should do Spencer. Elect you? You are nothing but a joke.”

Luke grinned back at him, “Well I am so glad you asked. I think that the fine people of Port Charles should vote for neither of you. Instead, let's have a write in vote for the best candidate around. She has worked for years at the Mary Mae Foundation so she knows how to balance a budget. She ran the PTA for years and has served on the City Council. All in all, she has had more experience than either of you put together.”

    Laura gasped, “Luke!”

“That’s right, my wife Laura Spencer. She will be the best mayor since, well me.” Luke spouted off.

Ric scoffed, “Never will happen Spencer. Laura will never win.”

Laura pushed forward, empowered by this show of faith her husband had in her, “I can and will run for mayor! I will win!”

Lulu hugged her mother, “Bring it on Mom!”

Luke looked over at Laura, “Laura, I even have my signs from when I ran for Mayor. We can use those!”

Tiffany looked over at the excited audience, “Well, I guess it is now Lansing vs Baldwin vs Spencer. May the best person win!

AJ and Sarah had spent the morning and early afternoon in bed making love. They fell in and out of sleep in between lovemaking. Sarah woke up in the early afternoon and lightly kissed AJ’s brow and giggled. He smiled and gathered her in his arms. “Oh sweetheart, you wore me out!”

“That’s what newlyweds are supposed to do.” Replied a sated Sarah. She stretched like a cat who was being scratched on her belly.

“I love you Sarah” AJ said tenderly.

“I love you.” She looked deep in his eyes. “You have no idea how much I love you. I am so glad we left Santa Barbara and came back to Port Charles. I had so many demons there.”

AJ kissed her, “Hush. You are with me now. He has no hold over you now. If I ever found that bastard I would kill him.”

Sarah brushed his hair away from his brow, “Which is precisely why I won’t tell you who it is. I am just sorry that, you know.” Sarah hid her face in AJ’s chest.

AJ lifted her chin up and gazed into her eyes, “It’s ok Sarah. I know it’s not your fault.” He leaned over and kissed her passionately several times. When they broke apart, he said, “Brenda told me that Carly is in Australia with Jax. I would like to see Michael. I don’t want to intrude on his life. I have already messed up his life enough. I just want to see him.”

Sarah trailed her hand down his arm, “I know, but it would be nice to see your son.”

“True. I will just extend the olive branch so to speak. Carly has every right not to trust me.” He sighed deeply. “I would also like my father to see him. I know it would cheer him up. I will have to get Carly’s number and call her. Do you want to head over to the hospital with me and see my father?”

“Yes. Do you think we can stop and see Elizabeth too? She gets out of the hospital today. I love the name Ava.” Sarah said, “You should have seen it, Lucky and Nikolas were watching the Super Bowl and trying to talk to Elizabeth. It was pretty funny.”

AJ kissed his bride, “Of course. I love you.”

Sarah kissed him back, “I love you.”

The Spencer House was full of activity. Luke, Laura, Lulu, Lucky, Robert, Robin, Patrick, Dillion, Justus, Lainey, Bobbie, Noah, and Nikolas were there helping with the campaign. Luke was leading the way, telling everyone what to do. Buttons were being made, flyers being drawn up to be passed around and sent out. Nikolas had commissioned a TV director to make commercials with Laura in them, which were going to be shot that day. The commercials were going to be aired on all the channels in the Port Charles area. The air was full of excitement to get Laura elected Mayor.

“Hey mate, what do you want me to do with these buttons? We have quite a few of them done here.” Robert yelled to Luke.

“Scorpio, take your prodigal daughter and her doctor boyfriend and go down to Kelly’s, then MetroCourt and pass them out. Don’t forget to say “Vote for Laura!” Luke yelled. “Give them to everyone you see!”

Robert yelled back, “Spencer, why am I doing this again? It’s freezing out.”

“You are right. Robin, you stay inside. Make the men stay outside. Tell your no good father that we want to beat Baldwin and that my wife can run this city better than any mayor since, well me.” Luke shouted.

Robin laughed, “Was I even born when you were Mayor Luke?”

“Oh but it was an exciting time. Have your father tell you some stories to pass the time. Oh, take some flyers with you as well.” Luke commanded.

When Robert, Patrick and Robin left, Lulu, Dillion, Lainey, and Justus were all calling people to ask to vote for Laura. Nikolas had installed a multi line phone in the house to accommodate the needs of the campaign. He and Lucky were addressing flyers to be sent out in the mail.

The door flew open and Scott came in. “Enemy on the premises!” Luke yelled.

“Can it Spencer.” Scott said. “I want to know why you are doing this. Why the write in campaign.”

Laura came forward, “Scott, I think that I can be a better Mayor than you and Ric. Plain and simple.”

“Oh please.” Scott said disgustedly, “Anyone could see that Luke sprung this on you and you had no idea that he was going to do this.” He looked around the house at all the cameras and electronic equipment. “Must be nice to have a gazillionaire son to finance this.”

“Oh you stop right now Baldwin and get the hell out of my house.” Luke said. “You are just afraid that a woman, your ex wife will do a better job than you.”

“Hardly.” Scott said sarcastically. “But you are right, I will take my leave. May the best person win.” Scott slammed the door to the Spencer House and dialed a number. “Hey, I think it’s time you and I met. How about an hour?” Scott shut his phone and walked off.

Robert was outside the MetroCourt handing out buttons when Tracy approached. “Hey Tracy. How are you?”

Tracy sniffed, “Seeing that my brother is in the hospital, not well. What do you have in your hand there Commissioner?”

Robert passed her a pin. “Vote for Laura.”

Tracy looked at him scornfully and said, “Oh please. You really expect me to vote for Luke Spencer’s wife? You are already the Commissioner. What will this town be coming to if a Spencer is Mayor.”

“Come now Tracy,” Robert smirked, “You know I am a damn good Commissioner. I keep the burglars away from your house.”

Tracy pulled the scarf up on her coat, “Oh please. Your brother is better.”

Robert smiled sideways, “That is yet to be determined Tracy.”

Tracy huffed, “Mr. Scorpio, I am going inside to have a cup of coffee and some soup.”

“Great, I’ll join you.” Robert said, completely forgetting about Laura’s campaign. Surprisingly, Tracy didn’t object.

Emily walked into the Spencer House with one thing on her mind. She saw Lulu and asked where Lucky was. Lulu pointed to the stairs and Emily glanced around. Seeing that no one was noticing her, she stealthy made her way upstairs and towards Lucky’s old bedroom. She opened the door.

Lucky was sitting on the bed and he looked up, “Hi Emily. What are you doing here?”

“Looking for you. I heard Elizabeth had her baby and was wondering how you were taking it.”

Lucky sighed, “You know Emily, I thought I would be ok. I even talked to a shrink about it. But when I saw her and Jason holding that baby, I bolted. I couldn’t take the fact that for six months, I believed that baby was mine.”

Emily sat down next to him on the bed. “I understand. It had to be hard.” Emily said sympathetically, running her hands over his back.

“You have no idea. My heart broke all over again.” Lucky stated.

“I wish that there was something I could do Lucky.” Emily moved closer to him.

Lucky turned to Emily, “Just being my friend is enough. You are the only one who has supported me throughout the whole thing. Not even my brother is supporting me. He and I are barely speaking.”

Emily looked away, upset. “Yeah well, Nikolas broke up with me. We aren’t getting married basically because of Elizabeth.”

Lucky drew Emily into a hug, “Oh Emily, I am so sorry. I know how much you love Nikolas. This has got to be hard. Want me to talk to Nikolas, get him to see reason?”

Emily started to cry softly, “There is no use. Thank you Lucky though.” She looked up at him and gazed into his eyes.

“Um, no problem Emily.” He realized that he was still holding her and brushed her hair back. “Emily, you don’t deserve this. You are too good a person to have to go through all of this.”

“Neither do you. Neither one of us deserves this.” She leaned over and lightly brushed her lips over his. She leaned back to see his reaction. She saw desire in his eyes. He leaned forward, tightened his grasp around her and drew her closer. They started to kiss passionately and fell back onto the bed.

So, I was suppossed to be taking these licensing courses. Well, I got a promotion and they got pushed back until the end of May. I start the course in the end of May. I am in training for a month until the end of April. So I will start writing again. I am excited to start again. I did need that break to bring things together. I apologize for starting and stopping again. I will have to stop when I start the tests, but for the time being, I will get a few episodes a week out.

Expect at least one this weekend.

Thank you everyone for your patience, and keep reading all the blogs!

I wanted to get some feedback regarding my blog. I would love any and all criticism. If you aren't a registered member here, and want to participate, email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

    1) In this blog, what couples are your favorite?

    2) What character or characters would you like to see more of?

    3) What characters should I cut my losses with and move them to other storylines or even write them off the blog?

    4) With Sam McCall back as a full Cassadine, where would you like to see her go from here? Do you want to see her as a bad girl or as a victim?

    5) One of my focuses was to incorparate the Quartermaines and the veterans more. Am I acheiving this goal? If not, what would you like to see?

    6) The main storylines going forward for the next few months will be the Spencers/Cassadines, Brenda and Ned's custody fight, Robin/Patrick/Sarah/AJ, the breakup of Lucky and Liz and Alan's rehabiliatation. The umbrella storyline that will incorparate most of the characters will be the Spencers/Cassadine. What storyline is your favorite and what is your least favorite.

    7) Any characters that you would like to see fall in love or lust?

    8) If you have any storylines that you would like to pitch, let me know, I may use them with your permission. In other words, what would you like to see happen? Tell me what you like in general and what you dislike in general.

    Thanks!

    The PCPD

Alexis and Nikolas are at the PCPD when Luke comes racing in, followed closely behind by Robert. “Natasha! Helena was at your place? What happened?” Luke shouted belligerently. “Were you there? Did you see them?”

Nikolas was on the phone with Jason and handed Robert the picture of Spencer. “These were left at my house when I was out taking the girls for a walk.” Alexis pushed her hair back in frustration, “Nikolas is calling Jason right now. Maybe Jason knows where Sam might be hiding.”

“Scorpio! This woman shot me and my wife! What is this God Forsaken Task Force doing about this?” Luke shouted.

Robert scanned the photos and the note. “Spencer, don’t talk to me like that. I will not talk to you when you are flying off the handle.” Robert faced the cops in front of him “Not that it is going to do much good at this point, but we are going to send these to the lab for fingerprints. Also I want every photo lab in the city checked to see when they were processed. Taggert, these aren’t digital, these are a 35 millimeter camera. Take every available cop with you.”

Jason ran in, “What can I do? What’s going on, did someone see Sam?”

Robert ignored Jason. “I want the park searched with a fine toothed comb. Nikolas, can I send a team in to Wyndemere to see if there is any evidence?” Without waiting for an answer, he continued, “Luke, want to come out to Wyndemere with me? Jason, want to go to the park with Cruz and Castillo? They will be the lead detectives over there, but stay out of their way Jason. If you are in the way, the will arrest you.”

“Did you get that picture of Sam I gave Taggert?” Jason asked.

“I did and my brother is at the TV station right now. Her face will be all over the place in a matter of hours along with the fact that a threat was made against the children. I do not want the contents of the note to be leaked to the media because every crazy will be calling in. Is that understood?” Everyone nodded. “Luke, is that understood? I have no qualms in locking you up.”

Luke had a look of intense hatred in his eyes, “The Cassadines will pay and I will be the one to do it.”

Alexis broke in, “Robert, what can I do? She is my daughter! I refuse to sit by idly while you go…”

Nikolas laid his hand on her shoulder, “Alexis, I know you want to help in finding Sam. But remember Kristina and Molly. Do you really want Ric finding out about this on TV? Or Sonny. They have a right to know what is going on.” Nikolas said sympathetically, “You and the girls can always stay with me. I have more than enough room, even with Elizabeth and her two children then. I will hire the best security I can.”

“I will be there tonight Nikolas.” Jason said aggressively, “In fact, I want Elizabeth out of there.”

Alexis knew she was defeated, “Now is not the time for this. Just go find Sam and together away from Helena!”

Carly impatiently rang the doorbell at Sonny’s penthouse. Michael and Morgan at her feet. Banging on the door she called out, “Sonny! Come on, open up!”

Sonny opens the door and sweeps up Michael and Morgan in a big hug. “Hey boys! Daddy misses you!” He kisses each of the boys and puts them down. They run into the living room. “Hi Carly, come on in.”

Carly peers past him, “Is the tramp here?” Carly says sarcastically.

“All right, you can leave now Carly. I am not in the mood.” Sonny tries to close the door.

“Ok, ok, I won’t call her a tramp!” Carly throws up her arms and mutters, “Even though she is one.” She walks in and Sonny closes the door. “No Sonny, I want to talk to you about something. About Michael.”

Sonny instantly became concerned. “Why, what’s going on? He’s doing ok in school, right? I talked to the teachers and none of them indicated he was in trouble.”

Carly put her purse down and looked around intently, “Seriously, Brenda isn’t here is she?”

“Carly I promised you that when I have the boys for the day, it was just going to be me and the boys. If something were to change, I would tell you.” Sonny crossed his arms, “Now tell me, what’s going on?”

“I think he is a little upset with you and Brenda.” Carly started to say.

Sonny angrily responded, “Oh don’t give me that Carly. Don’t use Michael like that. I thought you were better than that but apparently I was wrong” Sonny walked over the table and poured himself a glass of water. “Don’t use our son because you are jealous that I am happy with someone that isn’t you.”

Nostrils flaring, Carly said, “I don’t think she is a good influence on you or our sons. And I don’t want to have to pull you out of a depression because she will leave you.” Carly put her hands on her hips and shot back, “What happens when she is forced to choose between you and James. Have you thought of that? She will choose James, you know that.”

Sonny’s earlobes started to turn red as he said, “Carly, I am warning you…” His cell phone rang and he barked, “What?” He listened and quickly hung up. “I have to go. That was Jason. He just left the PCPD.”

Carly instantly turned worried, “Is he ok? What’s going on?”

“Yes, it’s Sam. She left pictures at Alexis’.” As he was saying that, his phone rang again, this time it was Alexis. “Yes, I am on my way there.” He started to walk to the door. “Carly, I am going to get Kristina and then I will be right back. Can you stay here for a bit? Maybe an hour.” Without waiting for an answer, Sonny yelled, “Carly, I am warning you, don’t piss me off!”

Ned sat down in the Quartermaine living room and surveyed the room. Edward, Monica, Justus, AJ, Sarah, Emily and Dillon were there. They were just waiting for Tracy, who had stumbled in the front door moments earlier. She mumbled that she wanted a Bloody Mary and she would be down in a minute. Ned rubbed his hands together. He was going to tell everyone that James was his son.

Tracy walked in and grabbed her drink. She was still wearing yesterdays clothes and sunglasses. “All right, what is this family meeting about? Is ELQ about to go under because if it isn’t, I am going to be really mad.”

“No Mother. I have an announcement to make.” A feeling of expectation descended the room. “I have a secret to tell you. Something that I have been hiding for months but now I think it is important that you know.”

Dillon stood up, “Wait a minute, before you say anything else. I have to know. What is the date?”

Monica answered quickly, “It’s the 19th Dillon. Go on Ned.”

“Like I was saying, I have a secret.” He looked at Dillon strangely. “But first I want to say that I am so sorry that I have hidden it from all of you for so long. It was the wrong thing to do. I just didn’t want to make any mistakes. So I am sorry.” About to confess, he was interrupted.

“Ned, just spit it out!” Edward said, rubbing his hands together and smiling.

Annoyed and still hungover, Tracy half shouted, “Oh for God’s sake just say it Ned! You sound like you are about to tell us you are gay. We all know what it is. James is your son!”

Shocked Ned said, “You all know?”

“We sure have Ned! In fact we all have been making hundred dollar bets on when you were going to tell us. Hand me the money. I was the closest if I recall.” Edward said. “I bet he would tell us March 31st.”

Dillion went to the desk and pulled out a notebook. “Let’s see. I was way off, I said July 4th. Monica said February 15th. Tracy said, and I quote, “June 1st because he wants to torture me. He already made me a grandmother before so now he is doing it again.”

Tracy looked at Ned, “Congratulation Ned. I am off to bed. I didn’t sleep last night.” Tracy left the room.

“I can’t believe you all knew.” Ned said. “Why didn’t anyone say anything?” Stunned, he fell back against the pillows in his chair.

AJ gave Sarah a glass of iced tea, “We figured you guys would tell us in your own time. When my parents called about Felicia, they told me that you and Brenda had a kid but not to say anything because you two were being all secretive. But yeah, we all knew. James looks so much like you and Brenda.”

    “I am just stunned.”

The door opened and Brenda walked in with James in her arms, “Hi everyone. Is this a bad time? I need to talk to Ned for a moment.”

Edward chortled, “Oh Brenda! Let me see that beautiful son of Ned’s. I am thrilled that you two have a child together and even more thrilled that I just made $700.” Dillion brought out the envelope with the money from the bet. “Come on Brenda, I want to hold the next Quartermaine heir!”

Brenda looked helplessly at Ned. Ned laughed, for the first time in days. “They knew.”

The explosion rocked the porch, blowing off the screen door and sending particles flying. Nikolas is thrown to the ground by the impact of the explosion. Lucky and Luke race to him and roll him over and over, extinguishing the flames that caught on his clothes. Lulu and Laura watch in horror as they watch the flames go out. Lulu quickly pulls out her cell phone and dials 911.

A noise is heard in the bushes. “What’s that?” Luke shouted. They see a flash of black and movement. “Oh my God, she’s here!” Luke yelled. “Come here and hold your brother!” He yells to Lulu.

Lucky and Luke run off into the bushes after Sam. They could see her up ahead as she darted in and out of the dense trees and bushes. Every tree branch was hitting Lucky’s injured shoulder. “She’s getting away!” Lucky yelled wincing in pain, out of breath all ready.

They could see Sam reaching a clearing next to a road. “Sam!” Luke yelled. “Sam, stop!”

Sam suddenly stopped and slowly, cautiously turned around. The two Spencer men stopped about ten feet away from her. “Stay away from me!” She yelled frantically.

“Sam, what’s going on with you.” Luke asked, breathing heavy. “Where have you been?”

Confused she looked from one man to the other. “I, I don’t know either one of you. I have, I have never seen you before.”

“Sam it’s me, Lucky Spencer and I am a police officer. I need to ask you some questions if that’s ok with you.” Lucky said softly.

Sam was very agitated and unsure of what to do. She looked around wildly. “What did I do? I don’t want to go anywhere with you.”

Lucky started to advance slowly towards her. “Sam, I am your friend here. Do you want to see Jason? If you come with me, you can see Jason in an hour, I promise you that. And us Spencers always keep are promises.” Lucky was about five feet away from her.

“Who’s Jason? I don’t know anyone named Jason.” Sam said softly.

Lucky matched his tone with hers. “Jason is a very good friend of yours who misses you terribly. He wants to see you very much. I can…”

Tires screeched behind Sam and a commanding voice yelled out, “Samantha! Samantha! Let’s go!” From the car, loud classical music pumped into the air. Sam turned and looked at the car. When she turned back around she had a cold, detached look in her eyes. She turned and kicked Lucky in his injured shoulder. He screamed in pain as blood started to pour from his wound. Sam followed up with a left hook which felled Lucky. Luke charged Sam, who quickly sidestepped him. She turned and faced him. She jumped and grabbed the tree branch above her. She swung herself so that she kicked Luke so hard that he stumbled and fell over, knocking him unconscious. Sam ran to the car and was gone as Taggert and some of the other officers came running into the clearing.

Scott arrives at the courthouse to pick up Alexis. She had called him earlier that day saying that she needed to speak to him. He was whistling as he opened the door to her office. Her secretary motioned him into Alexis’ office.

Scott opened the door, “You wanted to see me counselor?”

“Come in Scott.” Alexis looked up from the file she was working on and took off her glasses. “Have a seat Scott.”

“What’s going on Alexis?” Scott asked easily as he sat himself down in a chair.

Alexis stood up and walked around the desk. She perched on it and faced Scott. “Scott, I have to tell you something.”

“I knew it, you are in love with me and want to get married.” Scott joked. “If you want, we can take off to Vegas and get hitched.”

Alexis shot him a look. “I just wanted to let you know that until Sam is found, Ric will be moving in with me.”

“WHAT?” Scott shot up from his chair, “Like hell he is!”

    Alexis was taken aback. “Scott.”

“That no good ex husband of yours in not moving in with you! That, that parasite will be trying to I don’t know, try to get into your bed if you know what I mean” Scott said, walking around the office and crazily waving his arms around.

    “Don’t be ridiculous Ric!”

“See, you are already calling me Ric! What does that say about us Alexis!” Scott raged. “I can’t believe this. If you were that worried about Molly and Kristina why don’t you have me move in with you? Or go to Wyndemere? You already have plenty of security Alexis.” Scott accused.

Alexis spoke quietly, “Ric is Molly’s father and I don’t think it would be a good idea if you moved in Scott.”

“Well I don’t think it’s a good idea that Ric moves in with you.” Scott practically shouted.

“Scott, it’s not like you and I are together.”

Scott walked forward. “Oh yeah!” He roughly pulled her to him and kissed her passionately. He kissed her long and deep and his passion turned to gentle tenderness. He released her and stepped back.

Alexis raised her hand to her lips. “Oh my.” She sunk against the desk, stunned. “Oh my.”

“Hi Carly.” Sarah said as she breezed into the Metro Court. “What’s going on?”

Carly looked up from her clipboard and smiled, “Not much Sarah. What brings you here?”

“AJ and I were going to have a late lunch but he got called into a meeting at ELQ. Since I already had the time off, I decided to come over here anyways.” Sarah looked around the nearly empty restaurant. “Want to join me?”

Carly was bored with what she was doing so she shrugged and said, “Sure. Let’s sit by the window.” Once they were settled and had ordered, Carly asked, “How is life at the Quartermaines?”

Sarah shrugged, “Good. You know what it’s like being in the Quartermaines. You never know if you are doing the right thing.” Carly laughed. “How is your marriage? I heard you were married.”

“I am. My husband is in Australia with his sick mother. I came back here with the kids because of Alan.” Carly confided.

Sarah feigned sympathy. “I am sorry about your mother in law.”

“She’s very nice, but I always feel like I am in the shadow of Brenda, you know?”

Sarah paused while their food was being placed in front of them. “What is so special about Brenda anyways? Does she have some kind of hold over men? AJ told me that a long time ago, they tried to urge her not to date Sonny.”

Carly took a bite of her salad, “Well, she was a lot younger when they started dating, like 18. Even when he said he wasn’t in the mob, he was and she was always in danger. Trust me, I know first hand what it is like to be involved like that.”

    “What do you mean?”

“Both Brenda and I have been shot at because of Sonny. I have seen more guns, my children have seen more guns because of Sonny.” Carly confided, “Don’t get me wrong, Sonny loves his kids and is a great father. But the danger and the guns just got to be too much. It literally drove me crazy. That’s another thing Brenda and I have in common, we have both been in hospitals because of Sonny.”

Sarah’s mouth dropped open, “Wow. Carly I had no idea. I am so sorry. I know you hardly know me, but you can talk to me anytime.”

Carly continued to talk and talk. She needed a friend and Sarah seemed trustworthy. An hour later, Sarah got up to leave. “Carly, let’s do this again. OK?”

“I will see you soon anyway, as Ned wants me to come over soon. I said I would help him get custody of his kid away from that tramp.” Carly said spitefully.

Sarah picked up her purse. “Great, I will see you. Take care!” Sarah walked away confidently. When she was outside and in her car, she turned to AJ. She opened her purse and took out a small tape recorder. She rewound it and hit play. Carly’s voice filled the air. “See honey, I told you I could get you Michael back.”

I am tying up some storylines in one episode, and doing it without dialogue. It was going to be stretched out into a week, but it's not feasable.

~Brook Lyn arrives and is shocked to find out that she has a half brother. Ned never tol her about James, which angers her.
~Dillion is offered a summer internship in New York City with NYU. He will be in the city helping to film a major motion picture. He breaks things off with Lulu, who takes it in stride.
~Sam makes more apperances around Port Charles, always evading detection. She breaks into the PCPD and burns the evidence against the Cassadines. She is seen entering a warehouse where she meets up with a man who gives her an assignment. The man, who is a Cassadine, instructs her to kidnap Spencer, Kristina, and Molly.
~Luke is angry that there is no progress being made in the hunt for Helena and Sam. He feels that Robert is spending too much time with Tracy, who are continuing with their affair. To counter this and to get Robert back on track, Luke tells Tracy about the bet. Hell hath no fury than Tracy Quartermaine scorned!
~Carly, completely and utterly depressed that Jax has dumped her ends up one night at Jake's. She starts playing pool and catches the eye of a man who starts harrassing her. She tries to fight him off and an attractive younger man saves her. They end up sleeping together and then she asks his name.....
~The custody trial of James begins. The star witness is Brook Lyn. She testifies that she hardly knows her father and he barely raised her. Ned doesn't know if he should allow Ric to attack Brenda's character. In the end, he doesn't allow it. Sonny though is fair game and it does test Sonny and Brenda relationship. The court judge comes back with a judgement and custody of James is awarded too.....

TUNE IN AFTER THE HIATUS. We Will be back in June!

    Second Edition - October 28, 2007

Welcome to the Second week of the Port Charles Chronicles. A weekly look into the lives of the families in Port Charles. We, Ryan Chandler, Jennifer Snyder and Tishy Smith are here to answer any questions that you may have regarding Port Charles. We want to thank you all for your comments and questions and please feel free to direct questions our way.

    CASTING ROUNDUP

    GOING:

JUSTIN BRUENING (Lucas Jones) - After a great run that earned him a win for Outstanding Younger Character, Justin Bruening has decided to exit Port Charles. "Justin has been a wonderful addition to the cast and though I wish we could have kept him, it's been great being able to write for such a complex character," says Head writer Tishy Smith.

Bruening joined the cast of Port Charles last October. Though he originally signed a 6 month deal, the writers were so impressed by his work, the two were able to broker a deal to get him to stay. "We have loved his work here and he has done a wonderful job. He wants to move on and try his hand in other endeavors. He will be greatly missed" said Ryan Chandler. An interview has been scheduled for next week.

    COMING:

CHACE CRAWFORD (Lucas Jones) - With the departure of Justin Bruening approaching, PC execs began looking for a replacement with the blessing of Justin Bruening. After a long search, execs came to an agreement with actor Chace Crawford. Crawford currently stars in Gossip Girl. The writers took notice to the 22 year old Chace after seeing him in the movie "The Covenant," and kept him in mind for a future role. With a huge story coming up, he couldn't turn it down. "We are so excited for Chace to come aboard and I know he can jump right into the huge story we have planned for him," HW/EP Ryan Chandler told us. Chace first airs next Monday.

KIN SHRINER (Scott Baldwin) - Scott is coming home! With daughter Serena's storyline increasing, she will need her father. Look for the Spencers and the Baldwins to immediately rekindle their feud. "It's good to be home. Port Charles will always be home to me and I love the storyline that the writers have in store for Scotty." Shriner states.

Look for Lucy to make contact with Scotty this week.

    BLIND ITEMS

EXIT RIGHT PART 2? - To update what we brought to you last week, there have been a LOT of closed door meetings in the Executive Offices that have gone well into the midnight hours. Rumor has it that there will be major cast shakeups. No one, even long time vets are safe. Cast members who never had to worry before are now beginning to worry. Why is this happening? Might it be the swarm of actors and actresses of all ages coming in and out of the offices with their agents? A very big storyline seems to be in the works....

    QUESTIONS

Q: It looks like that with Bobbie turning herself in, she'll be doing some jail time. But what about Maxie? Isn't Maxie just as responsible for Brandon's death as Bobbie?

Bobbie was drunk and drove the car that killed Brandon. Maxie drugged Lucas' & Dillon's drink, causing their residual feelings to come to the surface and set it up so Brandon would see it. While what Maxie did is unethical, she did not cause anyone to die. However, Maxie definitely has been feeling guilty for her role in his death and without giving too much away, it will be addressed.

Q: Why is Lucas so harsh on Bobbie?

Bobbie never accepted the fact that Lucas was gay. She went out of her way to try to prove he wasn't. When Lucas began his relationship with Brandon, she never addressed Brandon by name. She was ashamed of her son and he knew it. Lucas was very hurt and now to find out that his mother has lied and betrayed him yet again, well this could be the final betrayal. We know that some weren't very happy with the way Lucas reacted after learning the truth, but we ask that you bear with us as we further along the story. There is a process that Lucas will have to go through.

Q: Will we see the Cassadines more in the future? Now that Sam and Lucky are together, will the writers utilize the Cassadine/Spencer history?

You better believe we will be capitalizing on the Cassadine and Spencer history! Luke is not happy that his son is involved with a Cassadine to say the least. We will be expanding on this story in a big way. Helena is not done with the Spencers by a long shot. Expect to see more of her evil ways in the upcoming months.

    Q. What made you and Tishy come together as a team?

Tishy: Ryan has this blog which eventually Jen joined as the Executive Producer. Tishy had her own GH inspired blog as well. Over time, the two of us realized a lot of our stories were very much alike. There were several stories that we each changed. "When work got too busy and I had to take at least a six week hiatus from writing my blog, Ryan asked me to think about joining his team. Of course I said yes once my work responsibilities were complete. And I have loved it ever since."

Ryan: Pretty much what Tishy said. I loved the way she wrote and it seemed as if we were always writing the same thing, lol. She has a lot of great ideas and is a great person to work with. I wouldn't have been able to imagine these last couple of months without her. She's awesome.

Q: Do you have a theme for your blog?

A new blog about General Hospital will soon be launched on SON. No start date has been set, but rumor has it that it will be after Thanksgiving. A cast list will soon be finalized and when it is, it will be posted. We will tell you this, The first several episodes start out with a favorite, the Nurse's Ball. Expect to see a major accident that will have major fallout for a lot of people, especially the veterans of the show. The person that causes this accident is not a day player either but a contract player.

I expect to fully utilize the veterans of this show. Several things will change. I am rewriting a little bit of history. There will not be many mob related stories. Sonny, although not a favorite for many, will go back to being the Sonny he was about 1996 when he was a romantic lead. The fic will be about family and relationships, love and passion. I want to bring it back to old school.

Some cast members are leaving, there just isn't any room for them on the canvas. Some favorites from the past will be returning with exciting new stories, one of them a single Lucy Coe.

I will give out more information when things get finalized....

Tishy: Today we got the chance to sit down with two of our favorite actresses from General Hospital, Sarah Joy Brown and Vanessa Marcil. Here is an excerpt of the interview...

Welcome ladies, how does it feel to be back?

    Vanessa: It feels great
Sarah: Like slipping into a nice warm pair of slippers. I feel like I never left. I love the character of Carly.
Vanessa: Oh and I love Brenda too. She is so much fun to play.

Tishy: Rumor has it that Carly and Brenda will be interacting a lot?

Sarah: Well...they have been involved with a lot of the same men.
Vanessa: Hey I had em first!
    Sarah: I have Maurice's kids!
    Vanessa: Very true...

Tishy: What can you tell us about any storylines coming up?

Vanessa: The first several episodes start with the Nurse's Ball. There are several acts, plus there is a lot of action off the stage going on

    Tishy: Like what?

Sarah: Well, we really can't give away much, but there is some action between Lulu and Dillion. Maxie stirs things up a little. Carly of course makes a scene. That's really about all I can say.
Vanessa: Something big does happen. But we can't reveal it.

Tishy: Oh come on, can't you tell us who it involves?

Vanessa: Well, a beloved member of the show.
Sarah: It will be the umbrella for a lot of stories, and when I mean a lot, I mean a lot. Port Charles won't be the same.

Tishy: Well, that was the short excerpt of an interview with Sarah Brown and Vanessa Marcil. Hopefully later this week, we can get another interview with a cast member and find out what other storylines are going to happen!

Tishy: Tonight i have the honor to have a few words with two of the biggest legends in daytime, Genie Francis and Tony Geary. They were gracious enough to take some time out of their busy schedules to have a few words with us.

Good evening, how are you both?

Genie: Doing wonderful. I am so happy to be back working.
Tony: I love working with this woman. She is magical.
    Genie: Oh stop.

Tishy: I see you two still bring out the best in each other.

Tony: That we do. She is the yin to my yang, the salt to my pepper, the feng to my
    Genie: Tony!
    Tony: Ok, Ok.

Tishy: So tell us what is coming up for you two.

Genie: We have a lot of family interaction. There will be a storyline involving Lucky, Elizabeth and Lulu that we will be involved in. We will also be involved with our second family, the Scorpios.
Tony: There is so much history between Luke and Robert.

Tishy: Please don't tell me that Robert is going to make a play for Laura?

Genie laughs: No, it involves the children and other things that will get me fired if I discuss.

Tishy: I hear Scott Baldwin is coming back to town.

Tony: You hear right. I love working with Kin. At first, I won't be working with him much. But he will be in the mix.

Tishy: Are you both happy with the direction that the storylines are going right now?

Tony: They are certainly starting out at a fast clip.
Genie: You aren't going to want to miss a single episode, especially in the first ten. A lot of things happen that will change everyone's lives forever.

Tishy: It has been a pleasure talking to you both. Have a great evening.

I am doing a little rewritting of some history. So to explain some things, Here they are.

~Sam McCall was killed in a mob shootout.

    ~Emily and Sonny....NEVER happened.

~Laura has not been in a catatonic state. She has been alive and well with her children.

~For the people that were on Port Charles, no vampires or vampire slayers. The only mention we will have to that is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Pretty much that is the rewritting of the history.....for now *grin*

Nurse's Ball: The first several episodes take place at the Nurse's Ball. This kickstarts several stories. A tragedy involving a beloved heroine will occur there followed by serious repercussions for one of the contract players. Brenda Barrett returns at the Nurse's Ball and she has a secret that will affect many lives. This will play out over a long period of time and have surprising results for many people.

Georgie/Dillion/Lulu. He will have to make a decision. The right one, or to follow his heart.

Elizabeth/Lucky/Jason/Emily/Nikolas/Alison Because of what occurs after the Nurse's Ball will have a huge effect on the six of them. I can't get into much more without revealing too many secrets, but a huge story will come up for them.

Tracy: Tracy finds love, in the least possible place you could think of.

Alexis/Ric He wants custody of Molly and will do anything to get it. She has her job as DA back and her cancer is in remission.

Lucy/Scott He will try to win her back, but she has been burned too many times.

Patrick/Robin They are in full love mode but she has problems that he can't help her with that will test their love.

Carly/Jax/Brenda/Sonny With Brenda back, all of Carly's insecurities come roaring back. She views Brenda as the standard that she could never reach with them. Even though Brenda makes it clear that she wants nothing to do with them, Carly doesn't believe her. But could Carly be right?

This is all we can reveal at this time. I hope you all will read it and enjoy it. Please, any suggestions are appreciated.

With great sadness the executive producer of The Citizens of Port Charles is announcing that Kristina Wagner has left the show. Kristina asked to be let out of her contract and we obliged. Ms. Wagner had this to comment, "I loved the character of Felicia so much, but I need to take time off to be with my family. What a way to go. I am open to come back and do dream sequences, but never a long term thing. I love everyone I worked with and will miss them dearly." When asked if she knew who the driver of the car who hit her was, she said yes.

We have also heard a rumor that another character will soon be released. This is just a rumor.

The starting dates for Billy Warlock and Arianne Zuker have been pushed back. No start date yet, but they remain on contract. For storyline purposes, their story is being pushed back so it can be properly told. Does this mean they will come back together? Rumor has it they may....

Mac rushed forward, "Maxie where have you been? We have been so worried about you. How could you miss the funeral? Did something happen?" He hugged her close and looked her deep into her eyes.

"You could say that." Maxie said as she checked out the crowd in the foyer of the Quartermaine mansion.

"Well what happened?" Mac asked. "Are you ok? I have been going out of my mind with worry for you."

Maxie pulled back and whispered, "I'm sorry Uncle Mac." Then she reached inside his coat pocket and grabbed his gun. In a cold, hard voice she said, "Georgie, get out of here. GO upstairs or something. I don't want you here for this."

In that moment, Taggert, Jason, Sonny's bodyguards and the other cops in the room pulled out their guns and trained them on Maxie. Mac stepped forward and said calmly, "Maxie, what's going on? Everyone else, lower your guns." Reluctantly they followed his orders.

Georgie stepped forward, "Maxie what are you doing? Are you insane?"

"I'm drunk but I know EXACTLY what I am doing." Maxie retorted to the crowd . "You know, I am looking around. Where is my father? Did the great Frisco Jones have some important assignment that kept him away from his ex wife's and the mother of his children's funeral? Not that he was ever up for Father of the Year, but you get the picture. Sean, I see you could make it and you are the head honcho at the WSB. Why the hell isn't my father here?"

Sean cautiously left Tiffany's side, "Maxie I tried everything I could. I even talked to the President. For national security reasons he couldn't be released from his assignment. I am so sorry that he couldn't be here, but he will be in touch with you and Georgie soon."

Maxie scoffed, "Tell him not to bother. There was only one person who loved me uncondtionally and she is gone."

"Maxie we all love you. Let us help you." Mac pleaded.

Maxie's eyes roamed the room and landed on Lucky. With comtempt in her voice she says, "No you don't." She again glances around the room and sees Taggert standing next to Alexis. Angrily she said, "I had a little visit this morning from our favorite neighborhood detective. Uncle Mac, you should be real proud. He always gets his man." She finished sarcastically.

Mac turns around and demands, "What did you say to Maxie that has her this upset?"

Alexis cleared her throat. "Mac, Now is not the right time for this."

"You questioned Maxie without telling me? What about some professional courtesy here? My God Alexis! You couldn't have consulted me!"

Alexis said quietly, "We were just following up like any normal investigation. It was just a couple questions. Maxie is well over the legal age. We were looking to rule her out. We never believed that she was the driver of the car."

Sonny and Jason were moving closer together. Maxie noticed this, pointed the gun at Elizabeth and said, "If you move another inch towards me, I shoot St. Elizabeth here. Understand me? My mother is dead and I have nothing to lose. Understand me, nothing."

"All right Maxie, we just don't want anyone to get hurt." Sonny said. "There are a lot more people in here with guns that know how to use them. If anyone is going to get hurt, it's probably going to be you."

Maxie snorted, "Do you really think I care Mr Mobster? My mother is never coming back and guess what people. The reason I didn't show up at my own mother's funeral is because Taggert asked me where my car was. Yes everyone, if you haven't figured it out, I was the one driving the car that hit my mother. I killed her."

Shock and gasps went through the room. "I don't believe it Maxie. Taggert is wrong." Mac said, "Tell her Taggert."

Taggert walked towards Maxie and she swung the gun at him, "Maxie we can work through this. All I asked you today was where your car was. I don't know anything else. It's still an ongoing investigation"

Maxie put the gun to her head, "Get away from me!" Everyone backed away and Maxie started to cry. "Damnit I was upset that night. As I was leaving, alone again I saw Lucky kissing St. Elizabeth and I started to cry. You used me Lucky for sex. He used me and threw me away like yesterdays trash. I was crying because it should be me on his arm! Especially since that baby isn't even his!....That's right Elizabeth. I know your secret. Were you ever going to tell him? We all know that after Sam died Liz and Jason slept together. Their was a paternity test and I saw it first Liz. The baby is Jason's and you are lying about it!"

Jason stared straight ahead, but Lucky turned to Elizabeth, "Is this true? You slept with Jason?"

"You're not going to believe me Lucky? I just killed my mother and have admitted it to a room of people. I have nothing to lose. So I was crying and driving and I wiped my eyes and heard a bump. I looked back but I didn't see anything. It was dark out. So I kept going. I didn't put two and two together until Taggert came to see me. Then I realized that I killed my mother. How do you think I can live with that?" Maxie sobbed.

Georgie stepped forward, "Maxie, it's ok. It was an accident. I still love you with all my heart. You know that. We are closer than sisters, you are my best friend. I need you in my life."

Maxie started waving the gun around, "SHUT UP! Everyone just shut up. Georgie, get out of here please!!!! I have had it. I can't go on like this. So Lucky, what do you think about your St. Elizabeth now?"

Lulu crossed her arms and said, "You are making this up because my brother chose Liz over you."

Luke put his hand on her shoulder and drew her back behind him, "Shhh."

"Oh yeah Lulu? What about at the Nurse's Ball when you were kissing my sister's boyfriend? What do you have to say about that?" Maxie yelled. "You act all virtuous but you are just like all the other members of your family.

Georgie flew forward but Robert stopped her from getting to Maxie, "Stop it Maxie!... Just stop it. Please!" She pleaded.

"Why all the Spencers women are sluts. Look at Ruby, she ran a brothel. Bobbie, well can't get much sluttier than her, her being a prostutite and all. Oh, except maybe for Carly who what, has slept with every man over the age of 18 that she isn't related to in Port Charles. St Elizabeth is carrying Jason's child. Laura has an illegitmate son and Lulu is making out with Dillion at the Nurse's Ball. Runs in the family." Maxie said spitefully.

Luke angrily said, "Look here Maxie, just stop it. You need some help here. You are blaming everyone else in the world but you are the one who needs help. Your family wants to help. Let them.

Robin edged forward, "Please Maxie. You and Georgie are the closest things that I have to sisters. I love you and want to help. Please let us. Your mother was in an accident and we can help you."

Sobbing, Maxie pleaded, "Lucky take me back. It's you I need."

Lucky edged closer to his wife, "You need to listen to your family."

"You're right." Maxie stood still and took a deep breath, "I need my Mom." She pointed the gun at her head and pulled the trigger.

    ~Next time...

Maxie's confession has reprecussions through Port Charles as Lucky and Elizabeth have a serious discussion.
Robin and Patrick finally have some alone time
Carly and Brenda have a confrontation over James
