  1. LMAO at the guy slipping on the blood and chainsawing off his leg...
  2. Hostel: Too short and it takes too damn long for the action to start. From what I'd heard I expected it to be MORE gruesome than it actually was. LMAO at cooked-eye-girl walking around and NOBODY noticing her face was terribly burnt. The ending was great though... I kinda wished the other guy had survived, since I liked him more. Anyway, I recommend it. ETA: Great minds think alike Rick!
  3. I rented the piece of crap, thankfully I didn't spend more money at the theater. I can understand why the bio-nerds were interested in getting to the cave, but WHY did the 13th century people (who die at the beginning) go there? Was there some kind of treasure there? The ending was awful. It made a shitty movie ten times more shitty.
  4. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Fantastically phenomenal!!!
  5. Prime: LOVED IT!!! Not your typical romantic comedy. Best Line: "His penis is so beautiful, I just want to knit it a hat."
  6. Proof: Even though it's math oriented, it's not horribly boring. Good acting from Gwyneth. Although, Jake and Gwyneth have ZERO couple chemistry.
  7. The joys of being rich! I'm jealous....
  8. The Cave: SNOOZE!!!!!! Don't waste your precious time and money with it.
  9. Child's Play 3: Hysterically funny. Scares are few and far between.
  10. The Wedding Date: Totally cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Brokeback Mountain: Pretty good, but nothing to write home about.
  12. Capote: I expected this to be a biography from Truman's birth to his death, but was pleasantly surprised. It focuses on a 5-6 five year period and focuses around a murder of a Kansan family, and Capote's relationship with one of the killers as he does research to write his very famous book "In Cold Blood". Phillip Seymour Hoffman's performance isn't in-your-face raw and emotional greatness, but rather subtle. He has great mannerisms and got the voice down very weel.
  13. Memoirs of a Geisha: The cinematography, costume and sets are GORGEOUS! The movie's good but drags a bit towards the last half hour.
  14. Hitch: Good at first, annoying in the middle. A pretty standard chick flick.
  15. Jarhead: Sometimes funny, sometimes moving. Good acting from Jake Gyllenhaal. WATCH IT!
  16. Goodnight, and Good Luck. : Slow moving, but overall pretty good. It helps if you know the backgrounds of McCarthyism and blacklisting. Don't see how it was nominated for Best Picture though.
  17. Basic Instinct: Kicks ass, and damn! Sharon Stone is HOT!
  18. The Goodbye Girl: Good movie with great writing and great performances, especially Richard Dreyfuss.
  19. Death by Murder: Great film from a few decades back. Funny as hell!
  20. Monster: FINALLY saw it! The story was OK, but what really made the movie was the performance.
  21. Pride and Prejudice (2005): A bit slow but for the most part good. Don't see why Keira was nominated though...
  22. North Country: Don't ask any questions, go to Blockbuster and RENT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Flight Plan: Very good and glad the ending wasn't what I expected it to be. Jodie Foster rules at the thriller game.
  24. In her Shoes: LOVED IT! Those allergic to chick flicks stay away from it.
  25. Saw II: Good traps, but the ending wasn't as SHOCKING as the first one. Wonder if they'll be a Saw III....
