  1. I was pulling my hair out after the Tuesday scenes with Jason, where they couldn't even manage to work in a throwaway line about Jake, or a line that acknowledged Liz's past with or views of Drew. The treatment of Elizabeth feels almost hostile, at this point. Fcking bizarre. The show has a lot going for it but I think the most glaring problem to me is the apparent inability to take what are often well-crafted and nuanced big picture plots and then chunk them out as crisp, coherent, gripping week-to-week and day-to-day stories. The block scheduling situation certainly accounts for much of this, but not all. Stories like Drew's shooting and Faison's 'final plan' seem to be being outlined with detail and care, but the form in which they end up being presented to the audience doesn't do them justice.
