Here is the first script that I have received the other day. Synopsis and photos.
JoJo has had his haircut and submits with dignity, but informs Mr. Layton that the battle is not over yet. Chet and Joy are in the hospital and run into Mr. Walker. Tad is still unconscious. Joy and Chet attempt to comfort Mr. Walker. Mr. Walker lets the two know that he does not appreciate their efforts as long as they will not tell him what they know. Mr. Porter arrives at the hospital and goes to Mr. Walker. Mr. Porter lets Mr. Walker know about JoJo's plight. After they talk, Mr. Walker tells Porter that it is fine that JoJo speaks his truth regardless if it may hurt Tad in the end. Chet and Joy have coffee at Alfy's and discuss that they are happy with the new regime that Alice and Frank have created for them. Chet is disappointed that Joy has not told Rhoda that they are seeing each other and that they need to lead honest lives with everyone including Rhoda. Chet and Joy decide to head to the beach. JoJo arrives at the beach and chats with Joy and Chet. Mr. Porter pulls up at the beach and has good news for JoJo. Porter tells his son that Mr. Walker wants JoJo that he spoke with Walker and Walker agrees that JoJo should speak his truth. JoJo is elated that his Dad spoke in his defense to Walker and realizes that Dad is finally understanding him. The Lovin Spoonful rehearse at the High Dive singing, "Do you Believe in Magic and You Didn't Have to be so Nice". Greg, one of the members of The Motley Crew makes a pass at Joy and Chet comes to Joy's defense. A fight ensues and JoJo is the one that gets hurt. Alfy breaks up Greg and Chet and rakes Greg over the coals with a final warning with his behavior. Greg threatens more trouble in Chet's future.

Barbara speaks to Alfy at the High Dive, rejecting his offer to run away with him. She says she can’t do such a thing unless they were to be married. However, Alfy says he won’t marry her because it would force him back into show business, which he despises. They argue about their situation, but are interrupted when Mel Carter arrives to rehearse for his performance at the High Dive that night. During his rehearsal, Alfy slips out. Tad talks to Barbara in the High Dive, where she tells him that she won’t run away with Alfy despite the fact that she loves him. Tad says he loves Barbara and has for some time; he is furious at Alfy for what he sees as a despicable act and leaves to find him. Tad talks to Susan and Jo Jo about Alfy. He reveals to Jo Jo what Alfy did, but Susan insists he had good reasons for it. Tad isn’t convinced and leaves to find Alfy; Susan and Jo Jo are unable to stop him. Susan insists to Jo Jo that Alfy did what he did because he had no choice. Barbara arrives asking where Tad went and gets into an argument with Susan about her relationships. Jo Jo and Susan leave to find Alfy before Tad does. They lure him over to Barbara’s place, hoping to keep him out of trouble long enough for Tad to calm down. Jo Jo asks Alfy to explain himself but he cannot. Tad enters and confronts Alfy. Alfy refuses to fight him even after he punches him in the head. Disappointed, Tad leaves.

She calls her house, hoping for an answer, but Bert is still unconscious. Afterwards she uses her last dime to call the Landis residence, but in her panic she dials the wrong number. She tries to get the party on the other end to help her, but they mistake it for a prank call and hang up. Joy realizes she's stuck and tries to distract herself but she is overcome by fear. Finally Alfy returns to the High Dive, startled and confused by Joy's hysterics.June 24 1966 Final episode

Alfy joins them, and Freddy Cannon arrives as per Alfy’s request to sing a song. Chet arrives in his Air Force uniform; he tells Alfy he has decided to join the service and then return to school to get a degree in engineering.
Jo Jo manages to work up the courage to ask a girl out on a date, and to his surprise he succeeds. Rhoda and Frank discus their upcoming marriage and the effect the various beachgoers have had on Joy’s life. Frank remarks that they are “never too young for life.” The episode ends as Barbara reconciles with Alfy; he remarks that as long as all his friends are happy, he too is happy.I believe that Nov 16, should be Monday Nov 15, 1965 per TV Guide summary?

Here is a great article about Dennis Parker/Wade Nichols from The Edge of Night. At the time of his death his partner was Joey Allan Phipps who was the first Kelly McGrath in 1980:

Not sure where to pst this but this thread seemed appropriate.
Variety March 1969 reviewed the 'The Boys in the Band' for a second time, now that the original cast had moved on to LA and London productions.
Most of the roles were taken by soap performers, many who were gay IRL
Michael Lipton
Konrad Matthei
David O'Brien
Matthew Tobin
Leon Russom
Christopher Bernau
Ted LePlat
Harold Scott and David Daniels were other castmembers.
Interesting that so many closeted actors would take on gay roles on stage.
I believe Russom and LePlat are str8?

I have been watching 1980 of The Doctors and think it is excellent. Doris Quinlan has done a great job and I do think the stories by Ralph Ellis and Eugenie Hunt are great. Lot of action which was big in 1980. Finally, a couple of remotes. Great new additions. The siege of the hospital is a month long an it was great to bring back David Canary as Warner AKA Far Wind.
I was going through the magazine Daytime TV and there is an article saying that early 1981 NBC bought the rights from Colgate Palmolive. Not in 1980 which has been eroniously reported.
Here is the article from Daytime TV magazine from Mid 1981.

I am up to late May 1995 and I am seeing that there are 7 Black characters on the canvas. Jacob/Angie/Charles are the front burner storyline too. This is so great. Other than Generations I do not think any soap had 7 or more Black character on at one time. Plus, Loving is only a half hour soap. Brava!

I have been updating the Loving IMDB page as I have been watching the show from 1991-1995. I have been crediting the actors, producers, directors and writers.

I have acquired 10/11 of the original scripts. The show is good, too bad it was not given a chance.

I went to Paley two weeks ago and watched all the Somerset shows they had; 9. The years were 1975 and 1976 that they had. The quality is excellent. The shows were very interesting. I was amazed at how nice the sets were. I guess with all the space they had in Brooklyn that helped. The cast was beautiful and I thought the acting was top notch. Very underrated . It is sad that more episodes do not remain....
It was nice to see so much of Georgeann Johnson's character Ellen with both Dale and Luke McAllister. I think most of the characters from Spring 1975 until July 1976 were featured.
