  1. I think that Lucy should be forced out as the head of Deception and Maxie should take charge of the company. I am done with the Lucy character, and she should be retired from the show.

Wow.  Today's episode was all set in the Quartermaine estate + the hospital.  When was the last time that's ever happened?  It's nice seeing the Q mansion full again with people.  I like that they made the cook a character finally and Cody's always great.  They need to give him more to do.  Even though they recast Maxie's daughter and Elizabeth's youngest son with likely more seasoned actors, I think I preferred the previous child actors.

Seeing the '90s ABC soap actresses playing Lois, Lucy, Tracy and Olivia in scenes together in 2024 was so fun!  Having the Allie/Carly's portrayer on there would make it a proper The City reunion! 😍

Willow & Michael are annoying with their privileged non-problems.  They need to send them on a long off-screen vacation!

The new writers want a Quartermaine revival.

As Haley's TV mom I can tell some truths about her as I've loved her since she was little girl. She made a HUGE mistake, knows it, owns it & has spent the last yr doing EVERYTHING imaginable to take responsibility 4 it. It's not that I oppose jail. It's that I oppose this jail.

    I miss Reginald too.

The way Olivia explained the job to Sasha made it sound much easier than I imagine it will be.  It still makes no sense for Olivia to ask Sasha when she works at a hotel that has a five star restaurant, kitchen, and room service workers.  One of those chefs/cooks would probably much more suited for the job.  Whatever.   I am really overthinking Sasha's career path.

It would be interesting to see where the show is going with Sonny.  It's almost comical how everyone turned on him in about a month.  In some ways it reminds of the 90's where most people in town thought Sonny was bad news and acknowledged he was a criminal.

Perhaps Kristina will be her father's hero by exposing what is going on with her father's meds and Ava will get blamed for it. Ava will take the fall and everyone will like Sonny again.

SoapHub just had an article about Vanessa Marcil returning because Lois made an offhand comment alluding to Brenda the other day.  It had no basis in fact and was all for clicks.  The entire story was built around that one line of dialogue lol.  SoapHub is awful.

Esme's story is complete.  Sure, Ace is around, but wouldn't Esme get arrested if she ever reappeared?   I suppose the door is open for a return later on, but I see no need for her anytime soon.  Characters need to continue to leave the canvas.  We don't need to bring more back.

I believe that Avery Pohl will bring Esme back next year as a villain. Spencer will also return next year, but as a recast.

  5. In the aftermath of her departure, I think that Esme is winning. Nikolas going to prison is victory for Esme. The disruption of the Spencer-Trina romance is victory for Esme. Ace being raised as a Collins instead of as a Cassadine is a victory for Esme. Ava remains divorced from Nikolas and has sold off Wyndemere, depriving Spencer and Nikolas of their castle. That is a victory for Esme. If the entire Cassadine family is dropped from the show, that is victory for Esme. Ava was Esme's primary target, and if she is turning evil now and other characters turn against her, then that must be a victory for Esme. Trina has been left devastated, abandoning Paris, dropping out of school, and only finding solace in babysitting her enemy's son. That is victory for Esme. If Heather makes it out of prison, that is another victory.

I’m more convinced than ever after today that Ava is going to cause some harm to Kristina, causing her to miscarry. Kristina is now on a mission to figure out what Ava’s up to. When Nina told her to “be careful”, it felt like some type of foreshadowing.

Kristina has never been a hero on this show. Other people have needed to save her in the past. Can Kristina be the hero?

Yea. that's the issue.  What bothered me the most was her incessant defense (or even propping) of Esme.   It made Laura look stupid and inconsiderate (and Laura should be neither.)

I'm a fan of some characters and pairings (but not a stan of anyone).

I am a Trina fan *and* a Laura fan (I can be both)
and I was *very* irritated with Laura's support of Esme.
It felt very disrespectful of Spencer and of Trina.

That bothered me even more that her concern for Cyrus or Heather.

I love Laura. I also love Esme, Heather, and Cyrus. I understand her support of them even if other people don't.

  8. SoapHub suggests a replacement for NAC and says AP could return.

Nicholas Alexander Chavez Is Not Coming Back to GH (yahoo.com)

Spencer and Esme have graves in Port Charles but there’s always a chance that both characters could do the Lazarus bit and make their way back to the story canvas. Pohl could reprise Esme. Perhaps GH will hire a new Spencer — wouldn’t Rory Gibson (criminally under-used as Noah on The Young and the Restless) make a good one? Who do you think could play Spencer? Let us know in the comments below.

  9. In case you missed it, Laura and Ava mentioned Nikolas. Ava refused to take his calls from Pentonville. Laura said that Nikolas is being transferred to another prison in a different state. He will be harder to visit that way. The new writers are not going to bring Nikolas back on the show.

Rena Sofer can go away any time now. She’s as annoying as ever. Take those nails and vamooosh!!! Ugh!
Kristen Storms can go away, too. I tweeted these opinions to Frank. FYI.

Lois should stay! Lucy should go instead.

Maxie has improved lately. Being around Spinelli helps.
