Melanie is sitting in the kitchen at Maggie’s house. Maggie walks in. Melanie gets up, and hugs her.

Melanie: I’m so glad your alright! Were you ok at Victor’s?

Maggie: Yes, of course. And what about you, were you ok here, all alone?

Melanie: Surprisingly, yes. It gave me some time to think.

Maggie: About what?

Melanie: Maybe I need some more time to myself. Time to get away, and clear my head.

Jillian walks into her office at Basic Black. Outside her office, Austin walks out of the elevator, and goes to the secretary.

Austin: Hi, I was wondering if you can tell me where Kate is.

Secretary: Your Austin, her son right?

Austin: Yes.

Secretary: She’s waiting for you in her office.

Austin: Thank you.

Austin walks into Kate’s office. Jillian is standing at the door of her office, and looks shocked. Kate gets up, and hugs Austin.

Kate: I’ve missed you.

Austin: I’ve missed you too, mom.

Kate: Now tell me; what is going on with you and Carrie?

Austin looks uncomfortable.

Nicole is standing in the living room of the DiMera mansion. She pours herself a drink, as Brady walks in.

Nicole: Brady, what are you doing here?

Brady: I came to see how your doing?

Nicole: I’m shocked, scared. What if those kids have to grow up without a father? What if Stefano forces me out of their lives?

Stefano walks into the living room.

Stefano: I can assure you that won’t happen, Nicole.

Nicole looks shocked.

Maggie and Melanie are sitting in Maggie’s kitchen.

Maggie: I think it might be a good idea to clear your head. Do you have an idea of where you want to go?

Melanie: I was thinking of going back to France.

Maggie: Oh.

Melanie: What’s wrong?

Maggie: I just didn’t think you would want to go back to France, after everything that happened there.

Austin and Kate are sitting in Kate’s office.

Austin: It’s a long story, mom.

Kate: Well, do you know about what’s going on?

Austin: What’s going on?

Kate: She’s pregnant.

Austin looks shocked.

Austin: Oh my God. Where is she staying?

Kate: With Roman. I suggest you go over there now.

Austin: I’ll see you later, mom.

She kisses him on the cheek, and he leaves.

Stefano, Nicole, and Brady are standing in the living room of the DiMera mansion.

Nicole: Did I hear you right?

Stefano: Yes. Now enough about that.

He looks at Brady.

Stefano: What do you want?

Brady: I came to talk about Vivian.

Stefano: My son might be dead, and you want to talk about Vivian? Get out of here.

Brady: If you don’t listen, your going to regret it.

Nicole puts her hand on Brady’s shoulder.

Nicole: You can do this another time, Brady.

Brady: Fine.

Brady walks into the foyer, and puts his jacket on. Nicole follows him.

Nicole: Brady, whatever your planning, just stop. You do not want to get on Stefano’s bad side.

Maggie and Melanie are sitting in the kitchen in Maggie’s house.

Melanie: I think it will be good for me to go back there, and reconnect with my old friends.

Maggie :And what about the life you made here?

Melanie: This isn’t forever. I am going to come back. I just need to leave for a while.

Maggie: I understand.

Maggie hugs her.

Will and Chad are sitting in the Brady Pub. Chad’s phone rings, and Will sees that it is Stefano.

Will: He’s still calling you?

Chad: Yeah. I’ve been thinking of talking to him.

Will: Are you crazy? Look at that family. Mostly all his kids ended up dead.

Chad: I know Will, but he is my father. And I’m a DiMera.

Will: You don’t have to be.

Chad smiles.

Chad: It’s nice to know you care about me.

Will: Of course I do. You’re my friend.

Chad: Is that all?

Nicole walks into the Cheatin’ Heart. She sits at the bar, and notices Rafe is beside her.

Nicole: Rafe, didn’t notice you there.

Rafe: Nicole.

Nicole laughs.

Nicole: So, what brings you here? Trouble in paradise? Have you finally figured out what Sami is really about?

Rafe: That’s none of your business, Nicole.

Nicole: Fine. Let’s talk about something else.

Nicole smiles.

Nicole: Remember the last time we were here together?

Rafe laughs.

Rafe: Yup.

Nicole: It would have been a good night, if you hadn’t been using me to catch EJ.

Rafe: Maybe I could make it up to you.

Rafe kisses Nicole.

Austin is in the elevator at Basic Black. The door opens and Jillian walks in. Austin looks shocked.

Jillian: I had the same face when I realized who your mother is.

Austin: What are you doing here?

Jillian: I work here.

Jillian smiles. She presses the emergency stop button, and the elevator stops.

Jillian: Why don’t we have a little fun?

She kisses him, and starts unbuttoning his shirt.

Austin: Jillian, stop.

Jillian: What's wrong?

Austin: Just stop.

Will and Chad are sitting in the Brady Pub.

Will: Chad, that is all we are; friends.

Chad holds Will’s hand.

Chad: Will, I know you care about me more than just a friend. I’ll wait for you to accept it. In the meantime, I have no problem hiding it from people.

Will: Chad-

Chad: Let’s go to my place. Whatever happens, happens.
