Emily Quartermaine, portrayed by Peyton List is the adopted daughter of Alan and Monica. She is the beloved granddaughter of Edward and Lila. AJ and Jason are her loving brothers. Besides Lila, Emily is loved the most out of all the Quartermaines.

Emily has faced many hardships in her life. She lost her mother to breast cancer and faced cancer herself. She fell in love with the rebel from the wrong side of the tracks, Zander. Soon thereafter, she fell hard for Nikolas Cassadine. At the last Nurse's Ball, Nikolas proposed. She accepted happily and the two seemed to be on the way to wedded bliss.

Things fell apart when Emily found out about Elizabeth and Jason's baby. She felt that her best friend Elizabeth betrayed her and Lucky, her best friend from childhood. Nikolas sided with Elizabeth and Elizabeth soon moved in with Nikolas. Emily was angry and soon returned her engagement ring. As revenge, she has slept with Lucky, but is keeping that knowledge to herself for the time being.

The headwriter/Executive Producer Tishy reveals that in casting Emily, she wanted to cast someone with more of an edge. Peyton List has that edge and has been working out admirably. Her plans for Emily are simple, revenge against Elizabeth and to ensnare Lucky in her web.

Emily will be in the forefront in the coming months. She will be involved heavily in the Nikolas/Elizabeth/Lucky storyline and the Alan storyline.
