Yaaaaay! Tracy!

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed during the first scene where Edward was talking about springing Tracy. She's already been there so long, and Luke *has* to be coming back sometime soon (I mean, right?) so I was hoping he'd come back and be involved in her release story.

Of course, as soon as Tracy revealed that it was her manipulation, I was more than okay with it. That's my girl.

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I haven't been in. Things have been going well for me at school, but they're keeping me busy.

Not so busy that I haven't been keeping up with GH, of course; watching it right after I get home was my traditional way of de-stressing last year. This year, it hasn't been working tho. Tracy hasn't been on, TG's still off on vacation, SC's probably gone forever, and LL's locked away wherever they're keeping Tracy. So without my four main reasons to watch, it's just been kinda depressing.

My subconscious is more than ready for TG to be back. I had a dream last night, where Liz ended up in the hospital again, and Luke came back into town, and his first scene was to go visit her. I was like, WTH are you doing?! Your wife's in a flippin loony bin, go visit her! I'm pretty sure I had that dream because

the only spoilers I've come across lately re: Luke's return have only mentioned him being involved in the upcoming mob war, and nothing about Tracy. Who SHOULD be where his main story is when he returns. Come on writers, isn't there enough drama there and with Lulu?

BTW, I'm in the breakroom for a few, if anyone wants to stop by. Hurrah for lazy days off.

I'm sorry I haven't been around, but I've been on a fun vacation. I didn't catch any GH for the past three weeks or so though, but I'm guessing I didn't miss anything major, Tracy-wise?

I'm with those who say that even if the rumors are true and Genie returns, it'll make for some great Tracy scenes. C'mon, the first time she came back we got an I love you and stuff so juicy that even non-LNL fans were complaining that TPTB were laying Lunacy on thick, to the detriment of LNL. If she comes back, they're not going to go for the immediate happily ever after, they're going to go for the drama. And, again as mentioned, the fact that JE is full time and GF wouldn't be, means that our girl has a leg up.

Lainey, I loved your story. I really hope something like that plays out on screen.

I agree with your analysis on Ned and Dillon, MinervaFan, and I'm kinda glad to hear you backing away from the Dillon-as -spoiled-jerk way of thinking. When I started watching GH again, I was completely focused on GQ, and I went back and downloaded practically all of their clips0 and therefore really, my introduction to Tracy put her mostly as a foiler to my favorite relationship. And she did pull a lot of ish. Of course, throughout all this, I began to realize the general fabulousness of Tracy herself, and started downloaded clips that focused more solely on her (a much more nuanced view) but anytime the issue comes up, I remember the earliest SC clips I've seen. Where he was fervently defending her to Edward and Ned, while she had just dropped him off at the Quartermaines, and wasn't returning his calls. They did seem to have a really, really close relationship before they came to Port Charles, but Tracy fired the first salvo on that.

That said, the scene where the two of them and Ned reunite after the hotel fire is one of my favorite and most watched. I always melt a little bit when it comes up in vids.

Wow, nex, that vid was great. Especially that lineup of Lacy scenes near the end. They've really got me jonesing. How long before TG's vacation is over again? September? Because if he comes back sans Laura, I'm looking forward to their reunion scenes already.

I guess I'm not suprised there was no Tracy yesterday, but I still have the show on DVR- is there any reason to look forward to watching, or is it just the same old?

although I thought his hug with Tracy in Shadybrook was very telling. She doesn't trust him anymore. It shows. She sees the change. Maybe that will play a part in his exit storyline--that he's changed and he wants to find the "Real" Dillon again--outside of PC.

That's a good point about the hug. I noticed how awkward it was, but I thought it was just Tracy being unhappy. But you're right, until Dillon swore he was going to help her, she probably had no idea if he was going to take the rest of the family's side. That's just sad. And I'd love it if finding "Real Dillon" was part of his exit storyline, but I doubt it, since

he's going to tell Lulu that one of the reasons he's resisting the offer of moving away is because of her, and seriously, since I consider "Lulu" and "the change in Dillon" as practically one and the same, this really doesn't bode well for my wish to see him end on a high note.

I've been lurking here for a while, but I've never really got up the nerve to post. But just reading has been so much fun, because I absolutely love Tracy, and since my beloved GQ is now no more, I've been getting more and more invested in LuNacy as my favorite ship. It doesn't hurt that they gave us some great scenes before TG went on vacation. It's one of the increasingly few things that's keeping me from completely ff-ing through the Sason show. I often visit here before watching my DVR of the show, just so I won't falsely get my hopes up when she isn't going to be on that day.

Anyway, the reason that I finally got up the nerve to post today is that I wrote a story and I was wondering if someone would be willing to beta it. I got so excited seeing oldDillon onscreen today, that I got inspired to write up something I've been wanting to since the whole Rape Reveal Redux started; namely, Dillon finding out about it, and his reaction. The whole thing is from his POV, and concentrates a lot on Luke, but Tracy is at the heart of it, and I think she's in it enough so that I can post it to the Ficathon when it's done, though I suppose I can just put it on ff.n. Would anyone be willing to help me with this?
